Hello fellows
I have already gotten my CAS and booked a date for biometric meanwhile I only started my proof of fund this month hoping that it will be matured about 2 days to my biometric.
How risky is this move considering that my POF hasn’t matured before online submission, has anyone attempted such a method?
Urgent please from any Samaritan |

Hello Gurus
I need you insight and advice please
I applied for a Canadian tourist visa in 2012 through an agent but the visa was refused and obviously the agent used some personal information which are not mine, like numbers and names of family members wife’s names educational qualifications so I’m wondering now if the records from 2012 would still be accessible by IRCC because I could remember that I didn’t do biometric for the application.
Thanks for contribution |

Same requirement for anyone with a Nigerian passport applying from Nigeria. You must demonstrate to ECO that you will leave the UK after your trip. Read through backward for the documents you need to submit. Your US green card only permit you to also apply from the US. But one can still apply with it from Nigeria together with a Nigerian passport, right? |

ekpotek: US citizens are visa free to the UK. That is they do not require a visa to visit the UK. Having said that. You can carry their birth certificate just in case the POE asked to show that you’re their mother. The POE many cross-checked if you added your US kids in your visa application as dependents. Please kindly enlighten me about those with US Green card and who resides in Nigeria, what are the requirements to getting UK Visa? |

Oggg: Yup. you can be denied entry as a visitor with one way ticket yes because you show potentials of one who wants to abscond. Do you not watch border force? this happens very frequently Pls @helen dnt try and book one way ticket if going on a visit visa. .. if your tickets are checked by immigration, you will have a lot of explanation to do with risks of entry denial or doubts of genuineness. Next thing you are on a flight back. I will even consider her to be lucky if she’s lifted from 9ja here because the airlines too her obliged to not allow you board their flight with one-way ticket with a visitor’s visa. |

JaySterling: I’m posting this for my uncle who plans on traveling to UK next month
He has a personal savings bank account with about 150M balance
He is a business man and doesn’t receive salary, his money comes into the account everyday
Can he use the account to apply for a UK visa ? Or he has to start paying himself salary for 6 months ? Please respond Brother as long as he’s business registration documents and landed property documents please go ahead and apply for him they treat people of that caliber differently. And as long as such or similar balance is in his SOA throughout the six months period |

giselle237: family application does not mean it will be treated by same ECO. Most times it isn’t that’s why differing dates on collection/decision. That’s why everyone pays their fees and fills out a form each. No joint forms. Take this into consideration. It is likely that they are being treated by different ECOS now tell me how sensible is that to be treated by different ECOS when people actually submitted as a family? It would be more easier for them to look at applications holistically when 1 person is treating say for example 5 members of a family than 5 ECOS taking on each applicant. To me it doesn’t make sense and slows down the application process. |

tushqueen: You are almost there, possibly today, Friday or at worst Monday you should receive collection mail.
My sister in law did biometric on 16th May, virgin passport, 6months visitor's visa. We received collection mail yesterday. So yours shouldn't be far off These people are not really organized and they expect you to organize your application especially statements of account to perfection. My cousin and my aunt did biometric together as family application on 26 May, and on the 28 June my cousin already got her passport delivered with visa on virgin passport and up till now my aunt’s passport is yet to be ready. |

Thegamingorca: Exactly, if it's self service he must upload bank statement before he goes for biometrics. But if he/she has already submitted on TLS contact by mistake. Let him/her go to the biometrics venue with his 42k, pere! Assisted service i.e upload will be done by TLS for you costs only #11,600 |

tundeloveday: Where do u book your flights from? Also what do u understand by Airport transit visa? If you book a flight that requires ATV, then it is Self-transfer and you won’t even be allowed to board the flight right from the original country you start your journey because it will be part of the checks that will be required before you get your boarding pass. Quite unfortunate that the person who brought out the discussion has already booked the flight as I was a victim in 2018 when I booked flight to Nigeria from London through Italy but it required me to have a schenghen visa before I could even start my journey. This is not a battle of knowledge between you and me. I suggest people should always book from www.skyscanner.net They always advise on these cases on flight- bookings
Who’s this person constantly insisting on wrong knowledge I have never seen anyone on this thread who doesn’t know you have to get an ATV if flying through Schengen flight operators to the UK- consequent upon brexit and you still said it’s got nothing to do with brexit. Come on man! |

Hello
I urge those who successfully got their visitor’s visa approved to share their documents submitted and may be explain what’s peculiar to their application or what they think they did right or differently that helped their application so that the rest can benefit.
Thanks |

Cashmadam: If it's her first time, I advise 6 months visa.
Utility bills not required. Just give her a letter of invitation and a copy of the data page of your international passport and whatever document gives you the legal right to stay in the UK She May include her bank statements too if she’s gonna sponsor her mum |

[quote author=midep post=114150078]Thanks Shalom, i appreciate.
Trust me my account statements was very straightforward.
The only transaction into the account are my monthly salary, quarterly allowance, mid year allowance and yearly upfront which was clearly stated in the statement and my payslip and offer letter.
The only transaction apart from the above is the consulting fees paid by a client. I also attached my CAC documents which registered the company since 2016. Contract letter from my clients with details of amount paid.
Am 95% sure those people are confused, they are human and prone to error.
If UK refuse me tourist visa, i have other lovely countries to go jare.
SA, Egypt, Turkey, Morocco or Mexico is nit a bad idea after all na my money are wan go spend.[/quote
I can feel your concern my brother but to say that their clearance office are prone to errors is an understatement I believe that some of them are not competent enough to handle visa case or might want to refuse visa application for the sake of protecting their jobs |
