Who does it better: Datti or Soyinka?
When a man is getting old, he should learn to respect himself, else, infants might padlock his mouth.

A guy posted 'Kano state is more than 1,000 years old'. Another responded 'how old is Nigeria?'
We couldn't settle them.

The indebtedness of Nigeria now is in trillions. No one is sending SMS to anyone to tarnish the image of Nigeria. But, apps have destroyed the image of over 1 million Nigerians over peanut loans.

SPEAK UP 2717

SPEAK UP 2718

From 4th position, Hope Uzodimma became the governor of IMO State

All that is needed is just good evidence before the court

I will not bore you with long writeups

Those asking the chances of victory for Peter Obi who came 3rd in the presidential elections at the court

Take a look at below summary

Hope Uzodinma, the governor-elect who finished fourth

Governor of Imo State
Uzodimma later challenged the victory of Ihedioha up to the Supreme Court. On 14 January 2020, the Supreme Court declared Uzodimma, the duly elected Governor of Imo State

On 14 January 2020, the Supreme Court declared Uzodimma, the duly elected Governor of Imo State. The court held that results from 388 polling units were wrongly excluded from votes ascribed to Uzodimma and the APC in Imo adding that the first appellant Uzodimma holds the majority of lawful votes cast.

Peter Obi took his mandate back from the PDP 3 good times in Anambra. He will take this one back from the APC in due time.

OBIdients lay low for now

Let the Court handle the rest.

Some went to CBN, Portharcourt, at 11a.m & came home at 11.10pm yesterday. They were not attended to. They were asked to come back today. Those who went back, CBN is giving them directives to go to banks to deposit anything below 500K with special reference from them. Some banks might not even respect the decision of CBN, the same way CBN didn't respect Supreme Court. Are we normal in this country?
SPEAK UP 2675

In Nigeria, we shift deadlines more than pants.
SPEAK UP 2676

It's not by strength or by hustle. But, you MUST hustle very well.
SPEAK UP 2677

Up until now, some are still doubting the deposits of the old notes. Visit the CBN'S website & generate your reference no. Take the printout to your bank & do your deposits as long as it's less than 500K, but if it's more than 500K, take it to CBN. Banks were opened today (Saturday). They will still open tomorrow from 10am to 2pm. Keep doubting.

Dear Lord God
If not for anything, please, for the sake of our sufferings, pains, agonies, backwardness, wretchedness as Nigerians, make PETER OBI the next president in this February elections.
We are tired.
We are sick.
We are frustrated.
We are sad.
Suicide is not an option.
Make Nigerians proud again.
Let our PVCs be used very well. Let our votes count this time around.
Anyone who wants to bring pains and frustrations on Nigerians during and after this elections, change him for good, but, if he/she insists, TAKE his/her life. You have the power to do more than enough.
God bless Nigeria.
God bless Peter Obi.
God bless You.

SPEAK UP 2691

Some Nigerians provided their ink pads, generators, food, water etc to make sure the elections were smooth. INEC is a constant excuse giver year in, year out. The electorate are the MVPs, not INEC.

"...Consequently, N305 billion was approved for the conduct of the 2023 general elections by the National Assembly."
INEC, the BVAs & electronic transmission of results were just paper works that never materialize. Tax payers money gone down the drain just like that.

SPEAK UP 2697

FATHER & SON
Few Years From Now

SON
Dad, you promised me during dinner that you were going to tell me about 2023 presidential elections.

FATHER
Yes. I always keep to my promise. I am not MANHOOD!

SON
Dad, please, who is Manhood?

FATHER
He is the theme of this discussion. He was the INEC chairman. His full name was Professor Mahmood Yakubu. But, out of anger, Nigerians changed it to Manhood.
They approved 305 billion naira for him, yet he failed Nigerians woefully. He promised us that elections were going to be free, transparent and fair. He told us how he used 117 billion naira for technology for the elections. The BVAs he said were going to transmit the election results in real times were not used. 3 good days after the elections, results were not announced. They were busy collating results manually in FCT.
Nigeria became the headquarters of conferences. Opposition Party Agents held their conference and asked INEC to stop the collation process at the National collation centre, Abuja. Thereafter, APC presidential council held their conference as well and mandated INEC to continue the manual process despite the billions spent on the BVAs and other things.
Manhood frustrated the good efforts of the Youths who came out in multitude to vote their preferred candidate, Peter Obi.
Tinubu, who was older than my grandfather, was just forcing himself on Nigerians.

SON
And the Youths allowed him to have his way as their president?

FATHER
I will wrap up the story later, let me attend to your mother in the Kitchen.

SPEAK UP 2698

Determined people don't dish out excuses unnecessarily, they moved.
SPEAK UP 2699

In all you do, be wise & safe. The dead cannot tell any story.

If we are to depend only on banks, do you know how many people would have died of hunger?

CBN is not being reasonable.

They should make the new notes available to banks and they should monitor to see if the branch managers are selling out the cash or not.

For my experiences thus far as a married man with one wife, I make bold to state the following to those intending to marry:
1. Knack very well before you marry. Don't be an idi*t like me who never shifted many goal posts before getting married. You will not know the reason as a bachelor now.
2. 90% of women place priority over their families before you the partner.
3. When you get married, your expenses will not be times two, but, it will multiply by 4. That's 4 good times of your current expenditure as a bachelor.
4. When you get married, so many things you feel you cannot do, you will be doing them. This is not a curse. That's just the way it is.
5. 78% of women don't like touching their money, no matter how much they earn. Your money is our money. That mantra alone will make most of them not to even buy something of 2k for themselves.
6. Your wife will fall into any of the category:
A. You can shift as many goal posts as you like, but, be careful, don't bring disease & any baby from outside.
B. Don't let me catch you cheating. Else, you or that lady will see fire.
C. As long as you care & provide for me, you can do whatever you like.
7. Make sure you don't have only one source of income, no matter what.
8. Treat your wife very well.
9. 60% of what your religious marriage counselors will teach you during your 'marriage class' are just exaggeration. You will get to find out when you are more than a year in marriage.
10. Those people who don't have good plans for you, don't let them frequent your house.

BusinessThe Struggle For The New Notes Continue by Pengician(op): 12:40pm On Feb 02, 2023
What's your experience thus far?

I was at Sterling Bank, UPTH, Portharcourt earlier in the morning hours. Over the counter, they were paying N1,000 (1k). What can one thousand do for a married man?

I went to the ATM section, it was crowded. None of the 6 machines were paying.

They crowded the ATMs because a security man said within 2 to 3 hours, they were going to be loaded with the new notes.

I left for Fidelity bank, Abuja campus, UNIPORT, Portharcourt.
One single machine was paying. I joined the queue. Before it could get to my turn, the cash was exhausted. It did pay the new notes though. Maximum of 20K for Fidelity bank ATMs, while 5K for other banks. Another machine was loaded, it paid less than 10 customers and the cash was exhausted.

I returned back to Sterling bank. The queue was more than 150 persons already.
I stood for over an hour. The heat of the sun was just too terrible. At a time, I asked myself if the distance from where I was to HELL was up to a mile?

I learnt CBN has directed banks to be paying customers with the new notes, with a restriction of 20K as the maximum daily withdrawal.

I believe when we over come this by February 10, 2023, we will all learn how to manage what we have. I hope this will make the naira to truly appreciate?

Please leave your chair go out to the banks and see what is happening, crowds of people at ATMS with no cash, people stressed unnecessarily as if they re begging for handouts for their own money.

Its pathetic, anyone supporting this wicked act is an enemy of state. Yesterday a woman was caught selling the new currency , 10k for 11k, for every 10k she gets 1k, if you want to withdraw 10k you pay a charge of 1k instead of N200 naira, how did she get the mint notes.

One useless potbellied bank manager must have been serviced by her, you are hear supporting corruption, damn you.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has directed commercial banks to, henceforth, pay customers over-the-counter with the lower Naira denominations.

These include N100, N50, N20, N10 and N5 notes regardless of how much a customer is withdrawing.

This is contained in the Banker’s Committee directive to all commercial banks in the country while also announcing that payment of old N1,000, N500, and N200 notes across the counter should be stopped.

With this development, bank customers are encouraged to use their alternative channels for their transactions, while bank customers who insist on the new naira notes are to use Automated Teller Machines (ATMs).

The directive was issued on Monday, January 30, 2023 after the Bankers’ Committee meeting in Lagos.

Commercial banks will henceforth pay customers over-the-counter with N100, N50, N20, N10 and N5 notes regardless of how much a customer is withdrawing.

The Banker’s Committee gave the directive to all commercial banks in the country while also announcing that payment of old N1,000, N500, and N200 notes across the counter should be stopped.
