akininNC:This is exactly the kind of attitude that is all so familiar on nairaland-pandering and sycophancy in order to gain relevance. No body has appointed you thread police. Everyone has a right to express how they feel about any issue.Rudeness and outright insult does not make you a better person neither does it make this place better. You will either see the sense in this and withdraw this statement or you can go on and use your alternative usernames for more insults. It doesnt matter. The reason behind this unnecessary brouhaha is VIN. All other issues are secondary even tertiary. There is no need to let VIN tear nairaland auto apart. It should remain optional. Ziontrain called me pennywise poundfoolish. This is actually my surname. I wonder how he knew! |
Godalone na which one you dey now.You too na dealer? |
ziontrain:You are taking bits of my statements and analyzing them out of context. I see this either as a genuine error or an act of desperation. I never said I don't care about stolen vehicles. Infact it seems you are taking this drive for a share of nairaland auto market to a rather embarrassing level. You may give as much prominence to your statement as you wish but it is wrong even immoral to deliberately misrepresent in order to further your cause. Now I don't see how car fax report will help me with a car that was snatched at Ajegunle if the owner doesn't subscribe to its service? I think what you have been trying to say all along but without the courage to do so is that Inspired has been bringing in stolen vehicles to sell on nairaland and hence the low price he sells his vehicles thereby pushing competition aside. Sell your own with VIN number if you like. You shouldnt dictate terms. This is a free country.Things may have improved lately but in the 90s if all the stolen cars in Nigeria were returned to Europe and America even Local Government Chairmen would have been trekking to work. ![]() please don't misquote me. This is not between pennywise and ziontrain. |
ziontrain:Hey!Weak foundation, strong foundation, a used car is what it is. I am a Nigerian living in Nigeria. I believe I speak the minds of most Nigerians when I say I don't care a lot if a car was stolen in America and the border patrols are stupid enough to let it get out.Since I innocently purchased the vehicle I will test the law on this one and seek punitive damages for any inconvenience. But if you try to sell me one that was stolen here in Nigeria I will set you up and make sure you pay a price.Car fax doesnt help me with this. In buying a used car from the internet, those of you in the business know that a number of things add up to give the car value. VIN declaration should be seen as one of those positive values a dealer avails prospective client. Again it does not give guarrantee. A used car is what it is. It should be optional. If you want to stand out as a dealer make all your listings have VIN.It shouldnt be made compulsory! |
OpeLovely:Hi Opeluvly, You seem to forget that 'randy nature' and my arch rival are one and the same. Sad you wont be seeing him for sometime to come. He is back in jail for wandering.Being successful in Nigeria has its perks you know. No tolerance for rivals.Just you and me now on this forum. What are you doing in Bermuda? Anyway missed you too. |
I can't stand the rain against my window You are simply the best It takes two Way of the world Love thang Private dancer Typical male We don't need another hero Whats love got to do with it etc Tiny turner is it.I have been faithful to you now for 12 mths. There will be no cheating for another 12mths.I love you baby. |
Oh that's great. But how does my friend put on a dog's tail? ![]() |
@Lipshell Which one you dey self. Those two heavy kokonuts you have on your chest will give most girls all the confidence they need. Leave the lucky bastard alone. He will always come back to you. But be sure not to drive him away with undue and misplaced envy. Sho gbo? |
I hear that makes the dropping watery and messy. It can only make the handler mean. Hardly the dog. |
Sometimes I wonder if the practice of veterinary is regulated in Nigeria. Who do you report to (apart from the police that is) when you have been conned? Anyway proving vaccine fraud in Nigeria is next to impossible. For now let them keep on enjoying free money. |
Outstrip:This is a thread about dogs and bitches. Certainly not for dogs and bitches. ![]() Gamine:Gamine, I am loving you right now. I think he opted for alsatians because they can be quite big and intimidating in size unlike the other smaller barking machines. Raw meat oh yeahhh. Concerning Nigerian vets, God save dog owners from them. They will inject 'pure water' for vaccine and bill you like hell. |
Rita Dominic- I don't know if she is beautiful or not but this girl has 'sexy'/'take me away now' written all over her. Omotola- Beautiful but you can't wish away the husband who is subjecting her to a compulsory breeding programme possibly in an effort to domesticate her.Last count was 5 i think? |
Outstrip:Since my friend does not have to worry about a child jumping over an 8 foot fence with military spec barb wire in the middle of the night, I figure you do not have any suggestion relevant to discourse? Or do you? |
kiwi992:In my house or in your house? |
SimiBrasil:True word. |
Raimond, welcome back from your el dorado. You shack security dog whiskey? If dem sleep off nko? thief man go carry them go sell for 45k each. |
I didnt say I have any wish to keep dog friend. But i have no doubt people who so desire will find your post useful. Cheers. |
But those must be pet dogs. I had a mixed breed alsatian-labrador. Very lovely beautiful pet I invested so much emotionally on. It had all the shots given by qualified reputable vets but died a short time latter. Very frustrating. Any particular kind you like? |
steaming:You love dogs too? Unfortunately not many ladies can tolerate them especially the mean variety. |
. . . at that age what i will advise is that your friend should get a third dog that is already vicious as a playmate for those two he already has, even if it's a mongrel. They will gradually learn from the new dog
Thanks mate. Barking is coming on and it looks like the isolation thing is working. My friend got a gash from the male when he came too close. And no he doesnt want a third dog because feeding these creatures can take its toll on your finances. Infact he is considering castration for the male even though I suspect the real reason may be retribution. By the way, they are back in separation. |
OP, My guy perhaps you will reconsider your title and have it read something like why do women always flash with their phones? Rather than 'why do women always flash' Made me wonder if I was in the wrong side of town . Dont know why they flash but your thread certainly got my attention . ![]() |
If there is a real life witch, this is one example. And for the human right people who may want justice for her, let them take her to the scandinavia countries or somewhere really far for trial. |
agaba123:If you take ajebota eye look am you fit think say na new way to do cell phone. But some of us know how far. |
infobaba:OP, if that is your cell phone at 2 0'clock in the pic above, I have to say I admire your ingenuity with the rubber band.Cell phone makers have a thing or two to learn from us on how to keep a phone in one piece . |
its true having helpin hands around u is a plus for living in nigeria. But at times the problems associated with these helps is more than the help they offer i.e stealing, child molestation, husband snatchin e.t.c The worst part is if u live in a small apartment with house girl, house boy , nanny, imagine the crowd
In Nigeria those who live in really small apartments on account of limited means will usually not keep househelps because they understand the economics well if not the health implication. But sometimes owing to extended family pressures they are forced to.What's of interest here is the middle class head of family that can afford it but would rather the wife does chores because his sister in London is raising 5 children without h/help. Husband snatching? That's an interesting one! |
Why do you want to subject yourself to all that stress when you can afford it . Living in Nigeria has its good side. Enjoy it. Let Oyinbos and our peeps yonder do endless chores. We have armed robbers and NEPA to worry about. |
A friend recently got himself two growing Alsatians- male and female about 5-8mths old. He is determined to make them mean and ferocious so they are kept in strict isolation. Initially they were kept separate but he felt this might hurt them emotionally and in turn affect their overall growth hence, reversal. He has not heard anything that even mimics a bark and they notoriously court affection always. Useful tips on how to turn these wimps into effective security dogs are welcome. My friend is not a pet-keeping kind so a role change for them is not an option. |
Paulipopo You have my respect for course content, depth and delivery. Please carry on. Do not devalue your presentation by succumbing to calls to ignore names. These are the illustrations you have. And like a picture, each is worth a thousand words. Dont mind the rascals seeking attention. They are either lost or are tools in the hands of the more successful businessmen without knowing it. Carry on. |
