I'm sorry, i used the word 'senseless' out of love and passion for him. Not that he's really senseless. But i'm glad he understood what i mean.

Due to same love and passion, wanted a solution for him. Normal visa denial is okay. But with a ban, it means he has to wait for so long before reapplying.

Was not happy at all on what the agent did. The funniest thing is that the so-called agent is probably somewhere enjoying himself and the money he got from him, leaving his client feeling so sad.

I wonder the kind of world we live in. The question now is, how did the guy know that the Agent gave him a fake document? Because if he knew that document wasn't real but went ahead with it, i think both of them should be blamed.
He might be aware but with the assurance the agent gave him that they dont or wont verify (which most times the dont though) makes him thinks all is well....most NIgerians fall victim of that.....a friend of mine used it and he was given visa though but if anyone ask for my advice i will definitely say a NO because its better to go with a genuine acount that is not your parents own and claim the person is your sponsor than to go with fake one.

Most Nigerians still dont understand that America is not NIgeria where you can easily get away with anything(or buy you wayout with money).

This is exactly my hatred for some agents. They have ruined the poor boy's chance of American dream. cry
Yea,most agents just think of their pocket and dont care about the outcome....infact Nigerian agents are like drug smugglers that dont care about anyone but just theirself and pocket.

The dude would likely be banned after this AP. Wanted him to tell us categorically when he was interviewed so as to come up with a solution.

The agent is wicked while the boy himself is senseless.
The agent is wicked and lack experience (i agree with you on that) but the boy is not senseless because he dont know and you know how we Nigerians see this travel abroad of a thing......you felt you are smarter now because you are here and have others that advice you but not all have the opportunity to be here.....i just hope he wont be banned(though the possibility of it is high).

Indonesia has finally executed the drug convicts on the notorious Nusakambangan island prison, including the four Nigerians.

Nigerians abroad with criminal intent must know that not all nations are lawless. If you use your hands to carry drugs enter some countries especially in Asia, e mean sey you don sign your death warrant be that. If you are overseas and you are into crime and you are reading this post because you have not been jailed or sentenced to death, I will advise you to stop the crime now and do something legal to survive even if it means frying akara in Taiwan or America. Yes, sell the akara to fellow Nigerians if Taiwanese or American people no fit chop am, Nigerians will buy it. No go carry drugs o . For my dear brothers and sisters in foreign nations who are almost into crime to survive, I beg you o, if to chop for dia no easy, please go back home and restart there. Let those who will laugh at you laugh, it is better than for you and your family to be ridiculed before the world and killed like a lizard wey no get local government. Your plight is well understood but the truth is even if EMU admit you there might be problem when you going for your visa at turkish embassy because of your age.
I advice you try applying for masters with you hnd and ond transcript, you might be admitted with some deficiency courses though but its better that way (i have met like two guys doing their masters with polytechnic result)
Give it a trial.

please i need your help,i was given a paper at the turkey embassy on the 27th of February that says:Your visa application is Not Refused but it has been forwarded to Turkish local authorities for further examination. This process is totally beyond the control of the embassy. please advice me on what to do.
it means your documents need further verification (either they suspect your documents or details you provided are not genuine ) which warrant them sending it to their country where they have the required resource to verify it well (advice if u submitted any fake or forged document then dont even bother going back cus sure u will not get the visa and probably will be banned from future visa application)

Actually, most US schools require bank statements as part of the admission requirements. If your package isn't complete (bank statement incl.), they won't decide admission.
Most schools usually grant admissions after application fee has been paid but they only issue l20 documents when the student show means of financial capability and thats when the issue of bank statements comes up not before admission is granted

The statement is needed to crosscheck if applicant have the required money to fund his education and this is done mostly when reviewing applicant form before making admission decision

I am surprise to know that her school granted her admission without her bank statement, Maybe there is a reason for that

But if i masy ask, justwise do u have any problem with agents?

They are doing their job and making research to earn money from the lazy Nigerians that dont want to do things themselves.....do you expect them them to rent offices and do job for lazy people for free in a country with no work.

Well to me as long as they are not scamming people and really doing what they are paid for, then i see nothing wrong with being an agent. If you think they are fraudulent people then good to expose them but else i see nothing wrong in being an agent to lazy people.

He responded to your harsh reply and still he apologized because he wants help (which is normal and shows he is not childish as u calling him), u should have apologized as well instead of stressing on the issue like you are right in responding that way without making a proper research yourself.

Here is a re-post of possible questions that might be confusing to new students applying for visa interview.
NB: THE NUMBERS IS ACCORDINGLY AS IT IS NUMBERED ON THE VISA APPLICATION FORM

1. your surname as in intl passport
2. skip it
3. your name or names as written on your intl passport
5. Put nothing here
7. The city and country you were born.
13. here tick ordinary passport
21. Tick transit
22. Tick single entry
23. Write few days
27. Tick other and write for studies.
28. Date you will get to Cyprus(you can access how long will take from Nigeria to Cyprus via online flight booking).
29. Date you intend leaving Nigeria
30. Write Turkey
31. Write flight
33. write the address of the School you going, the school telephone number and E-mail.

That's all i think new applicant might find difficult or confusing.

And please you all should try and read through previous post so as not to keep on asking same question repeatedly and will also have more idea about where you going and other stuff you never had the mind to ask.

Wish you all luck....

please i need help on how to confirm truly the university i applyed for really gave me addmition and not a scam.
If you want to confirm if the admission is authentic then search the school online and send them a mail but if you sure it is then to confirm the place of admission you will have to pay the required fees mentioned in the admission letter.

Good luck

yes you are right about that, but do i need to pay all before i can apply for visa or part of it and pay the rest when i get to EMU
If the fees written on your acceptance is below $4000 because of some departments, will advice you pay $4000 otherwise pay the full amount written there.

The amount to be paid is written boldly on the admission letter, so if really you have gotten the admission as you said then you dont need to ask us unless otherwise.

Good day guys. My good people. Thanks for sharing useful information here. I have a few questions.
1. If you have paid your fees to EMU and the embassy rejects you on the grounds that you don't have the statement of account showing #5million, will you receive your money back from the school?
2. Is that bank statement a must for visa to be issued? Cos someone at Famagusta told me that its not really a requirement.
3. Who knows any sure agent that can deliver.
My brother already has been offered the admission to study PharmD at EMU for February but we want to be sure of all these questions above before we go ahead with payment. We don't want to pay n lose.
Thanks all.
your questions has been answered but trying to clear a wrong response to your no. 1 question. EMU refunds your fees back if and only if you your refused visa.
Read your admission letter well.

Will they even allow entry into Ercan if there is no one to meet the student?
Yes all student will be allowed into the country even if they dont have someone to pick them up and besides they only ask of your admission letter and visa not airport pickup.
