23. Write few days
27. Tick other and write for studies.
28. Date you will get TO Cyprus(you can access how long will take from Nigeria to Cyprus via online flight booking).
29. Date you intend leaving Nigeria
30. Write Turkey
31. Write flight
33. write the address of the School you going,the school telephone number and E-mail.

Thats all i think new applicant might find difficult or confusing.

Statement of account does not necessarily mean you must have up to or more than 2million in your account but if the account is a functional account in the sense that the flow of money into the account is satisfactory and regular not an account that has 3million for like 2years and ever since,the only money that has enter is bank interest or like 2thousand naira(This not the type of statement of account we talking about).
Have a friend that came this spring semester with balance in the account less than a million but was given the visa.So worry less about that as long as the cash flow is okay.
Before i forget,try to appreciate or thank those that bring out time to respond to your questions cus it can take you a long way when you often do.

usdane: bros thanks 4 ur contribution. I appreciate it. However, if the only reason of advicing me against going 2 ciu is their lack of teachers' commitment and non-chalant attitude towards their job-teaching, i still prefer dem to the 9ja schools. At least oyinbo school wey no serious pass 9ja school wey no serious and lacks standard learning facilities. Plus im more like to secure job or masters admission to another school frm CIU than if i were 2 enter school here. The only thing that would discourage me frm ignoring ciu is if they dupe or ignore students who they already accept during or before registration which is unlikely. U r advising me as if they expelled you for no valid reason frm d school and thus u bear grudge against them. Sorry if i sound rude.

lol...but bros check am na,the guy is asking for advice but even if we do he just put it at d corner saying different things....so i guess he wanted us to advice him in line to what he have in mind.the best is to let him do his mind so he wont put the blame on any of us here....His mind is made up and such people are the most difficult cus they are claiming they need advice where all they are doing is just creating awareness and still do theirs.

However, that doesnt really matter to me .my only fear is wether i will encouter problems after i pay the 2k euro fee. usdane: Hello hycode, thanks a million for this valuable insights u provided. As regards my result, i combined waec and gce put 2 together 2 get 7 credits. I also have an IELTS band 5.5 cert. And Recommendation letter from my principal in school. I applied to EMU but was rejected thats why i tried my luck in CIU. Actually it was the same person that informed me that my result wnt suffice for admission that stil wrote me that i've been accpted. As per the admission issue, what other possible problems do u think i may face before i secure my visa to NC. Shey na the school go apply visa for me ni abi na me go apply own my own. And do they offer scholarship or not. Like after registration, hw much im i expected to add to that initial 2k euros under Business admin course? Thanks so much.

Some people are not worth advising, cause of the desperation of traveling abroad they tend ignoring warning signs and at the end only live with regrets....wish you luck man but when you start regretting or encountering those problems dont rush back here for advice or way out cause you might be disappointing none will respond.

Textbook is optional not like Nigeria university where you must buy text books ad even get mark for it and you can make use of the ones in the library.Dont know much about sports here cus am not a sport person so pay less attention to that.

No body ask you to apply so dont put any blame on us like we told u to and to be sincere work is hard everywhere so if you dont have someone to sponsor you it will be very hard for you especially accommodation and feeding not even school fees cus you can decide not to pay it when you egt here but must sleep and eat.
So if you dont wish to come anymore then request for you fees back if you have already paid.wish u luck

Ya you can use fidelity if they have master card and even Zenith bank as well and as for phone you can use your phone just new sim card you get which the school will provide for you when you get here.
when you get here you open both dorm and teller account same time if you wish.

Will be hard for her cus this is not african country and its a place where even the old ladies dress like young girls and even Africans here copy their dressing and forget about their culture so doubt if it will be easy for her to make cash with that gele stuff but with event planning might be easy for her but will still be difficult...

Information to new coming student,at the airport you should expect the immigration officer to ask you for cash or try to confuse you to think you are suppose to give them money or something else,will advice you not to be scared or even give them cus they are all thieves and ready to take all the cash you traveling with all cus u are new.
So no matter what they say dont give them and insist you dont have only if u think u have too much to spend or waste.So many new student fall to their tricks and ended up at times giving them even all the money they have cus almost all the officers will want you to give them,so be wise and shine your eyes when you get to the airport.

bidemi2014: @wip. Sir I also noticed the course I will be going for was not in the confirmation letter.

Confirmation letter is to let you know your fees have been received and necessary to get you visa so ask you agent for the confirmation letter cus from your message i guess an agent did it for you.

you didnt receive admission letter then how did you know you have gotten admitted and went ahead to pay school fees?
Some people are just so funny....even in Nigeria,u start registration and pay fees when you did not know you have been admitted?

I paid money into the school account last month May 20th and forwarded the payment receipt to the school as instructed but i have not receive any Conformation of Payment from the School.
What should i do?

Accommodation facilities at Eastern Mediterranean University are comprised of eleven dormitories on campus and one off-campus (all with different room sizes and facilities). Dormitories are classified as male and female and include study rooms, television rooms, telephone, Internet, recreational halls, cafeterias and launderettes. Students can prepare their own meals either in kitchens that are available in the rooms themselves or in communal kitchens which are located on the floors. There are also lots of places to eat on the campus that are frequently inspected by the University Cafeterias and Canteens Unit. Pls,my question here is ,the 1,300$,is it per person in the room or for the four pple insidethe house,pls clarify me on this.Again,are u staying in the school hostel or offcampus.......which of them do you prefer and why,just compare the two for me bruv.......Again,can someone pay his school fees through credit card.tHanks

As to your question,
1. 1300 is per person in the room and 4 persons per room.
2. I live off campus and asking which i prefer dont think its ideal cause my reasons might not be same with yours but as to answer your question i prefer off campus cus
a. privacy i.e if you live in a two bedroom apartment or more you tend to have your own room
b.In hostel you have to leave during summer only if you are on government scholarship and as of now i know so many people desperately looking for where to stay now since they have been given notice to leave.
Well as to me i think the only benefit being in an hostel is free gas to cook,water and internet depending on the hostels though.
3.As for using credit card to pay school fees,dont know about that but why all that stress with credit card,why not apply for GTB master card which you can use anywhere and be able to withdraw here to pay your fees when due or your people can pay directly to the school account.
so make your decision well and you dont have to take mine for yours...maybe when you get here you compare and decide properly.

If you are good with female hair like retouching,weaving and so on then you are on your way in making cool cash legally else i dont tink there is anything you can do....

Around which period?....book your flight first and start looking based on that but for sure you will see lot of people going same day with you so that shouldn't be your worry for now...wish you safe flight

princetoochi: Waow,interesting! Mr Penroll,pls can U throw more light on the things they checked on one before giving him a resident permit as a student,is there any of them that CAN prevents one from having the resident permit,like u sited on your write up in the issue of HIV POSITIVE

The major ones they check is HIV,TB and one other i have forgotten but the main that once you have will sent instantly to your country is HIV,Others they can treat you here bt as of HIV u are entering the next flight back so advice you check first and be sure before coming so you dont waste your money on flight ticket just to expose your status..

wip7: hmmm you mean you dont womanise? ahh Filipinos are trooping into NC now and it cheaper like 15TL full day since Economic recession are fighting them at south Cyprus...will you give it a trial?

What kind of business do u thik u can do when u coming as a student....if u coming to study den study and u guys should stop asking about work always...gosh.
IN dorm,they have rooms of 4,3,2,1 persons depends on you and as for outside u can live as many as u want as long as u pay ur rent wen due.
Things are generally cost in a country where their currency is more that yours if you spending your currency there but if you earn money there then things are fucking cheap.
Dont know how people spend here but as for me i spend at most 200tl a month but usually spend less than that sha.so depends on your way of living and especially if u womanize den for sure be prepared to spend even more than 1000tl a month.
To sum all up come with anything you think you can come with and u believe u need them.
