TribalEAST:And to crown his glory in death, some.of the officers who carried his coffin with honour and awe are ndigbo. In other words, Adekunle carried his clinical triumph over ndigbo to the grave. What a truely great man that was. |
Nonybb:At least you have acknowledged the fact that your uncles and biafran soldiers who died unsong went to hell. FYI, Adekunle was licensed by the state to kill her enemies which your uncle and rebel soldiers represented, he lived and died as a hero and buried as a hero. To add to your abject sorrow, he is in the bossom of father Abraham. So, your nightmare has only just started. |
kITATITA:Thank you for seeing my worries too. Ours is a system that extols illogicality and mediocrity. True heroes and heroines are hardly recognized. Yet if Adekunle had not done the job as duty called, he may have been court-martialed. His rising profile gave his seniors the jitters so they sidelined him. Am beginning to doubt if Gowon is a man of honour or courage. He was head of state and hence prosecuted the war. The buck stopped on his table. In decision-making, theres something called collective responsibility. Awolowo was only a civilian member of an army-dominated cabinet in a military regime and in a time of war. Adekunle was a surbordinate under orders. Awolowo and Adekunle, as men of honour and integrity, had acknowledged their roles under the principle of collective responsibility which are the qualities we admire in the white man but which are so lacking in us. Yet, Gowon, under whose watch the whole episode occured had kept treacherously mute while these two men were being wrongly vilified. He is in a vantage position to clear these men of wrongful accusations or own up as a responsible leader but failed to do either. His shallow thinking and lack of leadership quality led him into a dead-on-arrival movement called "NIGERIA PRAYS" which profitted nothing before its inevitable crash. Why is Nigeria always saddled with bad leaders ? Pensioners who expended the productive part of their lives to serve the country are made to suffer for their retirement rights. Under these circumstances, how do we expect people to give their best to the country ? People that suffered for 35 years for the country suffer for pitance as pensions whilst rogues who serve in national and state assemblies and governorship capacities for 8 years or less will take bloated but undeserved pensions for life after having plundered the common wealth. CAN ANYONE CONVINCE ME NIGERIA IS NOT UNDER A PERPETUAL CURSE THAT CAN ONLY BE EXHORCISED BY DISSOLUTION ? |
SAMBARRY: then close ya nose tooHa, okay. |
kolomax: I did not even understand anything'' Not to worry buddy, theres nothing to understand. Its about environmental sanitation-turned footballing exercise and touting. You cant understand anything in a society without norm, without standard and with laws without teeth. |
in Gods name, when will this set of people stop pretending.come to the North here, this same women have the highest level of infidelity, highly promiscuous and so on ...wearing hijab without pa.nt and bra underneath ... mtchewwwee.
...we...wearing hijab without pa.nt and bra underneath ...aring hijab without pa.nt and bra underneath ... To enhance quick sex at the slightest opportunity. Despite their so-called hijab, rape and sexual assalts occure more in muslim-dominated societies than non-muslim societies. And when it happens, it is the female victim that gets punished ditto for adulterers. They represent the most promiscuous set of people in the world. Polygamy is the greatest appeal for.people in the religion and thats why they are deluded by 72 virgins in their own filthy and unholy heaven after commiting murder here on earth. |
Oklander: You said there are 44 local government in Kano while there are 20 in Lagos yet you asked how can Kano be more populated than Lagos? Well, I may share in this your doubt because almost same thing is happening in Kogi state now where the K.east are given 11 LGAs while the K.centre are given only 5 but yet the people of the centre strongly believed are more than the east.Trash and illogical. Google mapping, which is always infallible, does not support your illogicality. |
Iolo: Honestly, if for nothing else this is why I want GEJ to be president come 2016. Let's have a southern president hopefully influence things back to its correct state. As a person, i dont so much like GEJ but given the fraudulent circumstances of Nigeria, only a bastard southerner would vote against him in 2015. |
Mr555: Oga take it easy so that frustration should not kill you.You quoted this long missive just to say this trash ? You must be the brainless part of the donkeys that are counted as humans upnorth. |
What happens if two courting couples maintain their sanctity without 'sampling' only to get married to discover that one of them is a complete bore on bed in a life-long journey ? |
coogar: the forbidden fruit always tastes better. And experience is the best teacher. |
SAMBARRY: gaggi face ya workAh, how can you close your eyes to a good dish with sweet aroma to boot ? Even if you close your eyes, your nose will force it open. |
BananaBender: Why should we say 'NO' to married people?Android thats coming from the horse's mouth, those in the know, who know very well the value of the sweet banana and are astute banana benders. May the god of sweet things bless you jare. |
dapsy4u2: THE MARRIED MEN WOULDN'T JUST LET A BEAUTIFUL SINGLE LADY BE COS HE HAS $$$$ TO OFFER.Teacher, behold the answers- 1) That is the way the cookie crumbles. 2) A wise man, 'who died in the backyard of a foolish man- e get as e bi - Fela Anikulapo Kuti (the legend). Satisfied ? |

tonytony208: do you attend TB's church? No wonder you are a half-baked xtian; you and the blind soul that liked your post. Where in your bible did Abraham cursed children? I'm sure you will also say THE FATHER OF DAVID IS GOLIATH!You are wicked joor, using words like a sucker punch. You made me shed tears with laughter, thanks. |
Nigeria is a cursed entity. Forget about it. Its days are numbered. Yakubu Gowon said the truth then - the basis for Nigeria unity didn't exist yet he went to war to waste lives and resources. 38 years after, the situation is even worse. Nigeria as a country is merely marking an exhaustible time. |
ola6: The Ole buruku, Tinubu Ole will never allow such. We are all equal but some are more equal than others. Gbawe and other paid per post betrayers of Yoruba land will never allow such, how will they get paid?Okay, they may be the Napoleons of today who feel invincible, but according to Martin Luther King jr., every Napoleon has his waterloo, someday, sometime. |
Okay, Mr. Tinubu, am Yoruba like you and our people say " ile la ti nko eso r'ode" (charity begins at home). Lets start the revolution with honesty and transparency by allowing a UN-appointed judicial commission of inquiry to probe your 8-year tenure as governor of Lagos State. Over to you and should you fail to take up this challenge, then you should henceforth give your larynx a rest so nigerians can pretend that you dont exist. You seem not to realise that nigerians have out-grown your level of intelligence. |
Because Tambuwal is of the two sides of a coin - a man who likes to eat his cake and have it again - with no liberty of mind. |
The post was borne out of crass envy, jealousy and hatred, authored by an incorrigible bigot with a dirty mind, an idle hand, which is the devil's workshop, with poor english to boot. Nay, where were your 'ingenious' grand-fathers at the time of the contest ? If the totality of their ingenuity could not pass the test of time, then it follows that no generation of them would ever be celebrated because, once a failure, always a failure. |
IdiAmin1: I still remember how Abraham cursed kids that were cajoling him and lion came out and devoured them. Becareful, let God be the judge. As for me, my mouthPoint of correction: not Abraham but Prophet Elisha immediately after the departure of Prophet Elijah. |
henrinity: oh sorry bro.. What i was correcting was birds of a feather not birds of the same feather... My apologiesYou are welcome, great mind. |
ymdo: Someone should please, tell me why I love this babe.Maybe the name Tonto ? |
