went to my mechanic on Saturday,narrated my ordeal , he called an AC guy , he told me the guy knows his onions , the guy came , I narrated everything to me , he told me from what he understands my compressor isn't bad at all, he opened my bonnet checked the Ac told me there was no oil in it... He recommended ND 11 oil for it , he told me those guys used cheap harsh gas for me , he said I'm lucky it would have cost me my compressor cos the compressor uses sensor , he asked if I perceived any gaseous smell when I on the AC ,I said no , he said my evaporator is good ,he told me my seals are one also the condenser bolt are broken , probably from the first guys that checked it out , they broke it and left it like that for me , he said I will change the condenser , I was like protesting , thinking it was another antics, he gave in and tried filling the gas, I was told to on my car Ac , when I on the AC there was little blast like sound , I thought a hose blasted, it was the condenser , he removed it and he performed a test told me to keep my finger close to one of the two holes , if he blows in air into one hole and it come out of the other , then it's good .. he did and no air came out.. he recommended I buy a new condenser , I bought a condenser and we did the test and air came out .. he fixed it , also fixed the seal and recharged the gas , the car is mortuary standard now ... He told me the other guys wanted to play games with me , they would have ripped me off without getting any solution.. he said it was just oil , good refrigerant and condenser was the problem

Good day all and happy New year. My 98 crv after driving for about 30mins, and I off the engine, the reservoir container boils, an I'll be hearing hissing sound. When everything cools down, water in the radiator will reduce, and the reservoir will be empty.
I did a small test this morning. I left the radiotor open and started the engine, after about 5-10 minutes I saw bubbles like foam. Pls what is the meaning?

I use a 2010 venza

whenever i park under the sun for hours and i start car, the AC vents on driver side will blow only fan (even when set to max cooling) but all other vents starts cooling immediately.
I'll need to drive the car around for at least 20mins before the 2 driver side vents picks up and start cooling.

Pls who has experience with this..i dont want to be scammed by these AC technicians. one is already saying i'll have to replace condenser and compressor.Thats ridiculous

Classic cylinder head gasket leakage symptoms after a bad case of previous overheating. Check if water is mixing up with your engine oil

Also a cracked water hose or radiator fin can cause such symptoms. Check your transmission oil too for signs of water dilution

My Camry 08 V6 ac just stopped blowing cold. Air filter removed, same thing. I went to mechanics place & I was told my gas level is above 140/200 psi which sounds okay to me. But he’s insisting we leak the old gas out and refill. I refused because it’s follow come gas. He said my compressor is bad & also it’s automatic. So now I’m supposed to buy another one but he’s saying I buy manual. Please advise. Should I buy manual? According to him, automatic compressor is troublesome. I don’t have idea on the difference. Any suggestions ?

My Corolla 2004 model recently developed a problem that when I press down the accelerator when trying to move fast from a slow pace or when trying to go up hill, the vehicle will vibrate until it gains it expected speed or on the full Run b4 it stops vibrating. Pls help, wat cud be the problem??
