I greet y'all .. My AC stopped cooling like 2 weeks ago and I checked it with a nearby mechanic who told me that my compressor was faulty. Today I decided to take my Lexus RX 350 to an auto repair shop in Abuja to fix the compressor issue. After computer diagnosis, I was served this invoice. I've not bought any of these parts before, it's my first time. I would like to know what you think about the cost I was given in this quote.

I have spent quite a lot of money filling,draining and refilling of my car AC gas to get that factory fitted cooling yet to no avail.

I have used lexus,masron and honeywell,they are not giving me the original cooling feel of the AC.All other factors of my cars AC system are ok and intact.

Please if you know of any better quality/brand of 134a AC gas let me know,i dont mind cost.

Mine shows p0430 and p0420. I use 11litres for 85 km highway. It's lexus es300. My cats are present and I don't know if o2 sensors are the culprit.

My toyoga hilux after filling the gas the Ac was blowing well but after a few weeks only the vent from the passengers side is blowing cold the other side is blowing hot

My Toyota sienna 2004 model is having AC issues, each time I fill gas it lasts only a month till my AC guy told me the valve at the compressor is leaking which I gave him money to fix and refill the gas but unfortunately it only lasted for 24hrs and everything leaked out, now it's blowing hot

I recently washed my engine and on starting there was no issues. Latter that same day I started hearing a strange sound from the engine, my mechanic checked and said my compressor bearing is bad. The ac cools very well. I drive a 2010 camry. Is their any solution to this apart from getting a new compressor

Well done guys.
Pls, I had my condenser replaced 3months ago due to leakage. Everything has been fine until 3days ago that I defected a reduced coolness of the AC.
2days ago I heard a hiss or that sound of worn/weak engine belt after which all coolness gone but only air.

I took the Rx300 to AC tech, The dude asked me to start the Ac then said my Compressor has burnt. He loose a nut attached to the compressor and smoke came out smelling bad.
My problem is, what could have caused this?
A cost of Tok Compressor is 40k now!

A remember the Tech Man strongly recommended a tokunbo condenser then cos I was hoping for brand new. His reason was that the brand new might spoil my Compressor!

I don't like driving without AC
