Please this is important to me, someone please advise. embarassed embarassed sad sad
Please can someone help with the below.
Pretty Please!!!!
Thank you
Hello My Canada FamBam, How are you doing? I hope you guys are keying into the praise wave with @nathenielbassey on Instagram. We can take all delays and issues to God. Our Olowogbogboro is sure to do wonders.
Please I have some questions and will appreciate assistance;
1) Can I upload the WES letter I received via mail with no WES stamp on it or must I upload the one with Stamp? 2) For POF, must I add letter of non indebtedness from my bank and must i add a reference letter? 3) Must my statement of account be 6 months before I can submit. I am using treasury bills for my POF but I also want to add my statement because it shows my salary and also I have quite a sum there but I am printing from February 1st and for it to be 6 months, it has to be July 31st which is too close to submission date (a month). Please advise.
4) Did anyone use narrations such as "my investment" or "for my tbills" or for "payment of rents" or "refund of rent" when transferring in and out of the account, I have my treasury bills letter to validate this.
5) what is the risk of submitting about 3 weeks to submission last date 6) Is it advisable to run the test with my HMO before going to Qlife. 7) Also, this is for a friend, he applied for tourist visa in April without knowing he would get ITA in May. Should he refer to his tourist visa application (still in process, no visa yet) and also provide his UCI or should he leave it out. He is a bit confused because he read on CIC and Canadavisa that there is something called 'dual' application and each application is treated separately.
I will appreciate all questions answered and would be lovelier if people that actually did it advise as well.
God is on this journey with us and HE that has brought us thus far definitely has a plan. |

Please do we have to notarize this type of letter? Thank you eddycross: This is fine.
Don't forget to get a Business card from this person as well... You can scan this along with the letter. Hope you have a clear view of what the letter should contain though.
All the best. eddycross: This is fine.

Wait o1 Please I do not understand, do i need to attach my siblings documents? I am a single applicant. Please explain. thank u 40manlappy: I did. It will establish where the person resides.
Provide it if you can. In addition and if possible, add scanned copies of your relative's PR card, medical card and any other document that can prove your relationship e.g. for siblings, birth certificates showing that you have same parents would be fine.
A short LOE may also be a good idea to enable the VO connect the dots.
@ebho Well done!  |

thank you for this ebho: Copied from Canadavisa
POST ITA PROCESS
For those who are waiting for ITA, check the following and prepare the necessary documents.
After you receive ITA, once you log in to your Express Entry profile, you will have two buttons - Continue Application - Decline Invitation
Note: You will have 60 days to submit your PR application electronically with all supporting documents. 60 days start from the day you get ITA, if you feel that you will not be able to arrange all the documents in 60 days, you can decline the ITA anytime before the expiry of 60 days and you will be back in the pool. In case you decline your ITA, then you will be eligible to be invited again provided you meet the CRS cut-off requirement.
Once you click Continue Application, you will be taken to pages similar to your Express Entry forms that you filled up. This page would have all the information carried forward from your Express Entry profile and additionally you also need to fill up Address History, Personal History and Travel History for each member listed in the application.
DOCUMENT CHECKLIST
Post completion of each section, the system would generate a personal document checklist based on the information submitted by you in the previous pages. A sample document checklist for a family of two (FSW) without any Canadian relatives would look like something below.
Supporting Documents for Primary Applicant Details Document Name Instructions Options Not Provided Passports/Travel Documents (Multiple) (required) instructions Upload file Not Provided Marriage License/Certificate (required) instructions Upload file Not Provided Proof of medical exam (required) instructions Upload file Not Provided Education (diplomas/degrees) (required) instructions Upload file Not Provided Employment Records 1 (required) instructions Upload file Not Provided Employment Records 2 (required) instructions Upload file Not Provided Employment Records 3 (required) instructions Upload file Not Provided Police Certificates (Multiple) (required) instructions Upload file Not Provided Proof of Means of Financial Support (required) instructions Upload file Not Provided Digital photo (required) instructions Upload file Not Provided Letter of Explanation (optional) instructions Upload file
Supporting Documents for Spouse Details Document Name Instructions Options Not Provided Passports/Travel Documents (Multiple) (required) instructions Upload file Not Provided Proof of medical exam (required) instructions Upload file Not Provided Education (diplomas/degrees) (required) instructions Upload file Not Provided Police Certificates (Multiple) (required) instructions Upload file Not Provided Digital photo (required) instructions Upload file
FEE PAYMENT
Once you have uploaded the documents, you have the option to make payment and submit your eAPR. Post ITA after clicking Continue, you will be asked whether you want to pay RPRF upfront, in case you have mentioned Yes and later want to modify it, you can do so by going to Modify Family Information which you can find in the menu bar.
Permanent Resident Application Fee: CAD 550 per applicant Right of Permanent Resident Fee (RPRF): CAD 490 per applicant
You can make payment using credit card and debit cards provided international transactions are allowed on your card. Contact your bank to check the same. MasterCard, Visa and Amex cards are accepted. Ensure that your bank has not put any transaction limit, contact your bank before using your card for payment. In case you do not have suffcient balance or credit limit, you can use your family member's or friend's card as CIC has no restriction on the same.
You will get Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) immediately after you make the payment.
THINGS TO NOTE
Police Certificate - If you already have nomination do not wait for ITA, apply for police certificate soon. For countries that you have already left, in case you do not have the police certificate, initiate the process for the same as well as some countries take time to issue you a police certificate.
Medicals - CIC has a list of empaneled clinics/hospitals where you need to get medical tests done. Check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/pp-md/pp-list.aspx. The following basic tests and checks are carried out (If you have had any or have any medical conditions, you need to let them know and also carry any medical records that you have) 1. Blood 2. Urine 3. Chest X-Ray 4. Eye Sight 5. Blood Pressure 6. Height/Weight 7. Physical examination by physician
You will not be given the results of the tests, the clinic will upload it directly to CIC. You will be given an Acknowledgement Form which you need to upload as proof of medical exam. Please ensure all the information on the Acknowledgment Form is correct as per passport and that the category on your medicals is mentioned as Non-EDE/Worker. If you find any discrepancy, get it corrected then and there itself and get an updated Acknowledgement Form.
Digital Photo - The final frame size of the photo should be at least 35mm x 45mm. The photograph must show a full front view of the head and tops of shoulders. The size of the head, from chin to crown, must be between 31mm and 36mm. The physical dimensions in pixels must be at least 420 x 540. The final size of the image should not be less than 60KB. The file should be submitted in JPEG format.
Reference Letter - For previous employers, the letter obtained after you have left is good enough, unless and until you want to get a fresh letter or want to get the letter updated. For current employer as a rule of the thumb, get a fresh letter if the previous one which you got is older than 6 months. For other questions related to reference letter check this thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/nail-the-challenge-of-getting-reference-letter-from-current-employer-t397796.0.html
ECA, IELTS - There is no separate placeholder for IELTS and WES. So you can upload IELTS and WES along with educational documents.
Proof of Funds (POF) - Get latest and updated POF. Ensure you cover as much as information requested by CIC in the Bank Letter/Bank Certificate.
Letter of Explanation(LOE) - Though this is an optional document, please use it to your advantage to explain anything you feel the officer should know or consider while assessing your application.
Provincial Nominees(PNP) - If you are a provincial nominee would suggest you to submit copy of nominaton certificate and Schedule 4 (IMM0008_4E) upfront along with LOE. Though these are not asked for when submitting eAPR, later you will be requested to submit Schedule 4.
Statutory Questions - In case you answer 'Yes' to any Statutory Questions, then explain the reason for the same in LOE and also submit Schedule A (IMM5669E) along with LOE. Though Schedule A is not asked for when submitting eAPR, later you will be requested to submit Schedule A.
Document Size & File Format - All documents should be uploaded as PDF not more than 4MB, except for digital photo which should be in JPEG format and not less than 60KB. For each placeholder, it should be one PDF. If you have multiple pages, merge them into one PDF for each placeholder. If the file size exceeds 4MB, scan the documents with scanner settings at 100 dpi or less but ensure that the files are legible. You can also use online tools like Small PDF to compress, merge and split PDFs etc (https://smallpdf.com/).
Help/Instructions - If you have any doubt about the documents that needs to be uploaded, check the help, blue button (Instructions) next to the Upload File button

thank you @boss13 and @40manlappy @boss13 I sent you a mail please. 40manlappy: Put jobs that you can't get reference letters for under the "personal history" section. Where you have gaps, put "Unemployed" there. Make sure there are no gaps!
You should be fine if you can get reference letter for your present position which is more than 3 years already. |

Hello Everyone, I am new here and I have a question. If one is refused, would it be on the person's international passport? Also, if it is not, does one need to ever state it on other travel documents or information? I did not attach a return ticket and i paid for hotel reservation as advised by the agent. I also did an online application and I was asked to go for biometrics, I went the next day and i was sent my tracking number but it reads no records on VFS and on my CIC portal, it now shows we do not need biometrics as against wat it was showing before which was asking me to go for biometrics. my application also shows submitted as against in process. please advise. thank you Jawa: Hi, please dont be in a hurry to reapply. Apply for your GCMS notes. This may clarify things further. Then address its issues with documents. If this is properly done, then you have overcome the presumption and should qualify for a visa. I get confused when people say things like 'repackage and refire'. a VOs decision is not personal. When an applicant reapplies, One of the things the new VO may do is to make reference to the refused application . They work to implement immigration laws which are even online and you can read them. VOs are more confident when they see you know what you're doing. The best, always. |

I am unable to get the required reference letter from HR as they do not give any one just an introduction letter to the embassy. My supervisor Is writing on a plain sheet and I will notarize with her details and my passport. I will also include employment letter, the mail from hr stating they do not give, appraisal, confirmation letter, payslips, statement of acct showing salary, now my picture at work, my tax clearance and pictures of me getting awarded at work and my complimentary card and work ID card. Will also include my bossses work if card. Thank you very much.
For my name, I always have my surname and my first name on all documents and sometimes my third name so I will include my NPC certificate as well. I wont bother with the attestation of names as well.
Thanks a lot. |

Please assist peppers: Hello everyo and congrats to everyone that receievd ITA. Please I have a couple of questions. On my international passport I have four names as stated on my NPC (birth certificate) but on my school documents and work documents I use just two or three of the names, will that be a problem?
Secondly I have funds in treasury bills enough for a single applicant and a little over a million in my statement of account, will that be fine as I expect them to add it all up.
Thirdly do I need a letter of non indebtedness and reference letter from the bank ( I heard from someone that got PR that I don't but all I need is statement of account but on this thread, I read people using all of the above.) please can someone assist with a sample of the reference letter needed?
Fourthly I want to notarize my recommendation letter from my boss but I don't know which one CIC will accept and please can anyone assist with a sample of what CIC needs?
Fifth please does anyone have a sample ogbu LOE. I know it pertains to peculiar cases but please anyone that has gotten PR already can assist if anyone's that hasn't gotten doesn't feel comfortable enough.
Thank you so much for all your help as usual. I am trying to prepare myself as I know m so close. Stay blessed |

folamingo: Yes, the reason for that is the savings account doesn't have references like the current account. (This applies in most banks)
But if you have a current account, request they get an approval for the reference letter on your savings account because it's the same customer.
But if you do not have a current account, tell them you can provide references on the account to allow them issue you the reference letter or open a current account, whichever is more convenient.
Hope this helps.
This will never work. I work in a bank. No management will sign this except you know one oga that will stick neck for you. |

oomowoomie: People sending you funds shouldn't cause any harm as long as you intend leaving the money in there till you get PPR. Since you said the money is being transferred from your savings account to your current account then that shouldn't pose a problem. The only snag I see is that if you claim that these funds are from your tbills or so, do you have your tbills certificate to backup this information with. You haven't received ITA yet, hopefully by the time you get it (ITA), you would have about 3 months to make up for your 6months. With this, i believe you should be fine. This is what I think though. anyone else can also help out here.... Thank you very much. Yes I have the treasury bill certificates to back I think up and I have had the funds since February and March this year. Thank you again |

Its difficult to claim sibling if your name is not there.
You have to be careful of misrepresentation cos they keep records
All the best |
