You have amazing dogs Sire...
Wonderful they are to behold.

Just a suggestion, your attached pics are clear and wonderfully detailed, also localized, making them prime targets for being stolen, downloaded and utilized for nefarious purposes (scams, fake dog sales and so on)..

Kindly please take steps to watermark (a design tag of your kennel name perhaps) and protect all your images with an identity stamp so as to ensure they remain your intellectual property.

Your dogs are truly beautfiul..
Keep up the good work
Warm regards

Jokes Etc / Re: Hmmm What I Saw In Google Street View by Perciel: 12:30am On Dec 21, 2017
flames007:
Please someone should enlighten me.I know tech has advanced at a mind buggling quantum pace.but I don't really understand how a satellite can take such a clear video coverage of places on the earth's surface like the one op just posted.
I'm particularly interested in the second pics cos it seemed to me like the camera(or whatever) was not taken by something that was taken from high above but rather on ground level.

I wish for an answer.please make my wish come through.

Never stop being curious and wanting to know, it will take you places . smiley

You are correct in your assumptions, Google Street view pictures and 3D images are taken primarily with Google Cars: these have advanced camera mounted on their roofs to capture both still and 3D images, they simply drive following Mapped routes and GPS locations while the cameras work and they collate the information.
This matches your assumption that they were taken at street level....
In other areas that are secluded, they use helmet mounted cameras on Bikers and handheld high tripods for areas completely inaccessible or off limits to transports such as monuments, parks, courseways etc...
In advanced climes, they may utilize fixed CCTV gigs in collaboration with local authorities....
So keep your eyes peeled....
You might see an odd car with Google Maps emblazoned on its side, that's the real deal... grin

Foreign Affairs / South Africa Falls Into Second Recession In A Decade by Perciel: 11:12pm On Aug 15, 2017
South Africa has fallen into recession for the first time in eight years after the economy shrank by 0.7% between January and March.
The downturn, due to weak manufacturing and trade, follows a 0.3% fall in GDP in the final quarter last year.
It is the first time that the economy has contracted for two consecutive quarters - the technical definition of a recession - since 2009.
The value of the rand fell by 1% on the currency markets.
Analysts had expected GDP to grow by 0.9% during the first quarter. However, Joe de Beer, deputy director general of Statistics South Africa, said: "We can now pronounce that the economy is in recession."
He added: "The major industries that contracted in the economy were the trade and manufacturing sectors."
Junk status
Africa's third-largest economy is under pressure after President Jacob Zuma fired its respected finance minister, Pravin Gordhan, earlier this year.
It prompted two credit rating agencies, Standard and Poor's and Fitch, to downgrade South Africa's credit worthiness to junk.
This means it is more expensive for South Africa to borrow money, because it is seen as having a higher risk defaulting on its debts.
Last week, S&P and Fitch pointed to further concerns about the South African economy, including uncertainty over who will succeed President Zuma as leader of the ruling African National Congress.
A successor is expected to be chosen in December, but Mr Zuma can remain as head of state until an election in 2019.

The problem is not with people or breeders of slant bank in this country but with people with the so called DDR or other working breeds. It makes no difference when your goal is to keep your dog on the leash but release for security at night. We need to take it to them the reason DDR is better by showing off our workout routine either by pictures or videos, this will give more awareness other than showing a nice dog on the chain.

You mentioned workout videos, have any available or online? would love to see, thinking of getting a Mali or DDR, I know what they require of course and they match purpose at hand....

My best online game is clash of queens and clash of kings.. I had to quit cause I got so addicted.. I got addicted that I had to write an article on how to overcome the addiction lol cheesy cheesy cheesy

Surprisely.. That article is ranking on Google front page till date.. Just type clash of kings addiction.. The first result there is my site..

The problem with this game is that you need real money to purchase some packages if you want to grow faster. Chinese and Indians are usually the war lords.. Challenge them and you're gone. Hacking the game is impossible.. Have tried countless times. . This game isn't for kids though.. Its for men who have money and time.. cool

Lol, you and me both bro. The likes Duguyan etc ruled my world, Chinese of course. My battery would die, I switch to power pack, then inverter grin War of the world's was always fun but it got so bad that all I could think of was to just level up my Castle, shield against attacks and reduce time taken for construction.
I knew I had to quit when I began dreaming about clash of kings, planning and playing in dreams grin.
Deleted, uninstored and cleared my account...
Lol, the game is tight, revenues run into millions with addictions that starts pretty simply, that game is wonderfully designed and I wonder what holds us back in Nigeria, there is a lot of potential, that I can tell you.

Sad to hear Greene, sorry about that. There is a trend developing though and I fear for your other dogs who are not as big as he is or as strong. I believe he is becoming an aggressive alpha aided by your encouragement of his defence and fight against outside dogs. I fear you might need behavior modification Greene and as soon as possible. A dog should never kill another in its pack or compound with little or no insult or provocation.
Focus and devote time to him Greene, lest it becomes a small child

Chommyblack, notice the picture is cleverly taken to disguise the second dog's imperfection with one dog partially covering the other.
The dog in full view I think also isn't pure but as long as the giveaway party doesn't claim the pup is pure, take the pup and love it. Just don't continue the bad Nigerian tradition of indiscriminate mixing too grin

Interested in procuring pure breed German Shepherds, if you could point the way to a valid breeder or perhaps you are a breeder.
Difficult to get purebreeds, been shown mongrels, half breeds mostly and your dogs look pretty nice and well fed especially the first two.
Hope to hear from you.

Author note: Had nothing to do and no active manuscript, bored,so writing this and letting it flow as it will. Think it might get big but not sure. Read like a child and follow a life, it's more fantasy, school, magic perhaps, romance perhaps (if requested) and a host of other genres, Nigerian in flavour but with influences from a wide scope. The style is unconventional and the prose lilting but it will be fun.

INTRO: Shards of Mischief

The air hums with the twang of the cane and I grunt as it tears a new line of fire across my back. The principal steps forward from where she stood by the door looking at me not unkindly.

"That's enough, Mr cole".

Eyeing me evilly, he stalks out of the class, face as dark as thunderclouds, the principal searches my face and I look anywhere but at her. Sighing, she gestures wordlessly for me to follow and exits the class, my classmates mummur as I plod out after, warily making sure I was out of her springing range.

I wouldn't blame mr Cole for being angry but he had crossed a line, the new regulations forbid beating a student due to new child right laws but Mr Cole is part of the old guard and thinks the education system is going soft.

Head down, i stare at my torn socks and equally woebegone school wear. This had been the bone of contention, Mr Cole demands that all students in class A be neat, well-behaved and clean as rain (not that rain is that clean). I have only one pair of school wear which I had to wear every day of the week, so there you have it, Mr Cole took offence.

Everyday, for about 2 weeks, he picked me to answer questions, clean the board, go pick the class assignments, stand without sitting in class and on. School became even more miserable, had my revenge though, got super bond from the library on pretexts of a teacher needing it.

I set to work his table, smeared it on the underside of his desk, his chair and its legs. It doesn't fully bond until it comes in contact with a material (Mr. Cole's trouser), setting it up during recess, he came back in a rush, crashed down unto his work space and began rummaging around.

Hiding a grin between my fingers, I ease out of the class without him signalling as the bell rings signalling the end of recess. I idle around for a bit and then return to class among the stragglers and meet a scene of hilarious confusion.

It is better than I imagined, Mr Cole had obviously tried to stand and found himself unable to do so, trying to get his legs out also proved a problem, they were equally stuck, now he partially stood in a turtle like crouch, chair stuck to his his butt and table on his legs.

My classmates were gathered around, chattering excitedly with titters and giggles escaping. Some guys approached him with the intention and I watched carefully aware that some smears of the bond still lingered in spots, as I guessed, two soon had their hands stuck and things got pretty serious.

One of them immediately burst into tears and I cram my hand in my mouth to muffle the laughter bubbling out, crybaby I thought. Some sharp individual soon decided the staff needed to know and next you know, the principal came around with the head teacher.

The news spread like wildfire and soon our class is crowded with staff and students alike trying to get a peek, it is success beyond my expectations. The staff themselves had a grin before turning attention to extrication, Mr Cole doesn't relax, I tell you.

Eventually they had to call the school clinic, medics came with substances that dissolved the bond slightly and allowed the boys wiggle their hands wiggle free. Mr Cole however was a difficult matter, you see, (grinning widely, they had to cut him out of his trousers and we all saw his boxers underwear and it was a pink (imagine, shocked) Perry Cole, it had a cute flying pigs pattern.

He was furious and the medics gave him a towel to cover up as soon as they got him out. He left for home in the school bus still swaddled in the towel grin

Investigations commenced on the possible culprit and the top bond was traced back to the library, the name recorded there in the register was Mr Cole as the teacher in need of it (he used it, of course). Needless, the poor soul who did the disgraceful act was never caught and Mr Cole itched bitterly for revenge.

The backlash was on me, which is why i went on the offence again and why he had lashed me in anger.

"Here we are", the principal intones from ahead and I snap out of my thoughts, glancing up, she hold the the door ajar and gestures me to enter. Hunching my shoulders, I step into the office and she swings the door shut. The sound sends shivers down my spine, it rouses up memories, things that whispered in the dark, dry fields and a burning afternoon.

"Have a seat".

She says, startling me.

"We have a lot to discuss".

She says with a glint in her eyes and I sink down, eye downcast with stones of worry roiling around. The silence that follows is oppressive. I glance up and freeze shell-shocked, the principal has changed (yes, maybe like transformed, I guess), she glows in the slightly dim office, clad in white robes and a wreath on her brows.

My heart hammers on my ribcage as she leans forward slightly and smiles conspirationally.

"So boy, what have you been up to?".

My mouth is as dry as the Sahara and much more arid.

Updates: Follow a lot of stories and I understand the -itch for updates, can't promise anything but will not abandon, this has a long way to go and so many worlds to explore, I hope I have time.
Literature / Re: Horror In Two Sentences.. by Perciel: 9:00am On Mar 22, 2017
I stood in line, nose buried in my paper, waiting for the train, the bell rang and I stepped into it, picking a seat, I settle into the leather cushions, continue to read, look up to see all around me, zombies in various stages of decay, they were all smiling.

There is a graveyard down the street, everyday at 6am, its guard waves me on my way to work, every Saturday, certain church members cleaned the grounds, on Wednesday, a beautiful lady brought flowers, yesterday, I was walking past it with my pastor, he remarked "the graveyard is bushy and deserted, no one ever comes to visit".

Travel / Man Tired Of Driving To Work Builds Himself An Aeroplane. by Perciel: 11:39pm On Sep 14, 2016
Tired of wasting 14 minutes driving to work every day, a crafty locksmith from the Czech Republic managed to cut his commute time in half by building himself an airplane and flying to work.

45-year-old Frantisek Hadrava, from the south-western Czech village of Zdikov, used to drive for 12-14 minutes for his 6 a.m. shift at Drevostroj, a small factory in the town of Ckyne, but he thought that was too long. So he spent the last two years building himself an ultralight plane based on the U.S.-design of Mini-Max planes. Now, whenever the weather permits it, instead of hopping in his car, he gets into the open cockpit plane and flies to his workplace in just seven minutes.

“It takes me about 12-14 minutes by car,” Hadrava told Reuters. “By plane, it would take around 4-5 minutes if I flew directly, but I take a bit of a detour so that I don’t disturb people early in the morning. So it takes about 7 minutes".

You’re probably wonder where Frantisek parks his airplane when he gets to work. After landing on a meadow across the road from the factory, he simply pushes the aircraft to a parking lot just outside his workplace. Since the plane is made almost entirely of wood, pushing it is apparently a lot easier than it looks. It occupies about four car parking spaces, but his co-workers don’t seem to mind too much yet.

The 175-kilogram propeller airplane, named Vampira, is powered by a 3-cylinder engine, has a fuel consumption of 6 litres of petrol per hour and can reach a top speed of 91 km/h. Those are pretty impressive specks for a home-made plane that reportedly cost just 100,000 Czech Koruna ($4,150) to build.

Hadrava, who has previously built a functional replica of the German World War One triplane Fokker Dr. I, says he first fell in love with airplanes when he was ten years old, after watching a television documentary on old war planes.
