By the way,get it to your skull that the US,United Nation will never grant your Biafra people and sharia people any recognition. SO,Biafra and sharia republic might die in hunger and poverty. You can Google nothern Cyprus and see for yourself. They have been asking for indepence for more than 30years but no country or organisation is ready to help. They departed from the original cyprus thinking they will stand alone but they where left alone. No Recogntion. So you people can keep dreaming of separatin from Nigeria, especially the Igbio people. One day you will wake up and beg to rejoin Nigeria but it will be too late. If not I don't see why this NYSC or whatever should continue without things being sorted out first. Please, boycott Northern states for your own good! It is clear that the NYSC DG is as clueless as ever on what to do. The best they can do is to attend funerals, but that will not happen if you guys act wisely. Sports › Emmanuel Emenike Arrested For Match Fixing; Released Now by pereze(op): 7:20pm On Jul 07, 2011 |
https://d.yimg.com/i//ng/sp/eurosport/20110707/25/3930bf1a0a383418dadc4ac6d61ec007.jpg Budding Nigerian footballer alongside his teammate are standing trial for alleged match fixing. Three executives of champions Fenerbahce, the chairman of Sivasspor and coach of Eskisehirspor were among the 15 sent to jail on the orders of an Istanbul court, state-run Anatolian news agency reported.
A total of 22 have now been jailed after seven were sent to Metris jail in Istanbul overnight, including Fenerbahce's star striker Emmanuel Emenike (pictured).
The investigation has thrown preparations for the new season into disarray just a month before kick-off and the Turkish Football Federation is expected to act soon in response to the allegations without waiting for the outcome of the case.
Among possible sanctions are exclusion from competitions, relegation to a lower division and potentially the loss of tens of millions of dollars in income. Any individuals convicted of match-fixing could face lengthy prison sentences.
Shares in major Istanbul club Fenerbahce , which won the league for a record 18th time last season, have lost a third of their value since news of the police raids emerged. Source: http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/07072011/58/15-jailed-turkish-match-fixing-probe.html |

Christianity Etc › Re: Solution To Our Educational System: Pastor Chris Books by pereze: 5:49am On Jul 06, 2011 |
Basito: Education is intellectual wisdom,it affects the mind of man only and man is not a mind but a spirit.Revelation is divine wisdom, the highest form of wisdom requires for the building of a better man and society.Man is a spirit,Job10v11, Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced with bones and sinews.Job32v8, but there is a spirit in man, , it is the spirit (not the mind) that gives life2cor3v6, the spirit gives life, the real sustenance of man comes from the spirit, hence, the quality of a man's spirit will invariably determines the quality of the whole being of man.But the growth and development of man's spirit is by the word of God only.1peter2v2 as new born babes, desire the sincere milk of the word , that ye may grow thereby.Government's involvement in the development of man's spirit as against it's involvement in the development of human minds(education), will ultimately bring about the desired change we all yearn.1Tim4v7, exercise thyself rather unto godliness. For bodily exercise profiteth little:but godliness is profitable unto all things, having the promise of the life that now is,and of that which is to come(future). The following spiritual materials should be integrated into our educational system: 1.Recreating your world. By Chris Oyakhilome Phd. 2.Rhapsody of Realities By Chris and Anita Oyakhilome These materials will absolutely rebrand anyone that reads them for the overall change that we want in our society. I was thinking the third point was to make all Jambites attend Night of bliss in at least two different locations and finally all undergraduates 'convert' to christ embassy members! Don't tell me you are a graduate, because if you are then P-square crew must have a prophet in da house, Wahala de! |

safetyman1: About the not putting pictures on your resume, I do that a lot but it has always worked for me. I even get interview requests from overseas (i.e Saudi Aramco). I think provided it is a small size coloured passport photo, it should do no harm. Any thoughts?? I agree with you. But you should check the CV format of the country you are applying to. Middle eastern countries will appreciate your pics, marital status ,country, religion, age and stuffs like that. In UK all these are a no no. In Nigeria, pics are not necessary, but almost everything else should be in there, excluding maybe your girl/boyfriends name(s)! |
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: What To Expect In The NNPC Job Interview by pereze: 6:20am On Jun 30, 2011 |
Syenite: Congrats to those that have received invitations. Over 4,000 candidates(can't remember the exact figure now) made it to the interview stage.
Firstly NNPC recruitment in based on quota system. Almost equal number of applicants will be taken from all the states and FCT. This implies that you are competing against people from your state. And this will in turn go down to LGA by LGA.So if you have a family member or a cousin in the race it means u are virtually fighting for one slot. Under this system situations arises where a Candidate from State A with 50% score in the interview will be employed while a candidate from State B with 80% score might not be employed. So those of you from educationally developed states should brace up for the challenge.I am sure you know those states
What to equip yourself with: When NNPC was established and under what decree NNPC's Core Businesses NNPC Subsidiaries and their operational functions The Refineries and their various Refining capacities Which of the NNPC subsidiaries u'll like to work with and why? Why do you want to work with the NNPC. Why do you want to work in the Oil industry Why do you want to leave your former place of work(if you are already working) Where do you hope to be in 10years time? Understand your discipline and how you can apply it in the oil industry Know the name of the current and immediate past GMD Expect that you’ll be asked atleast one basic question about your discipline Know where the head quarters of each of the Subsidiaries are located say Benin, Warri, Lagos etc. Research the operations of the Subsidiaries so you’ll know which one you can fit in.(I am currently working with the subsidiary I mentioned during my interview so take your time to research, though it does not totally follow)
Look smart and composed. It’s usually a friendly interview and note that your line of discussion will mostly go in line with your responses so be sure of what to say. But please don’t be too confident else you’ll sound arrogant.
I’m speaking from experience. The above where questions asked me and some of my colleagues who I am working with now. So expect most of the questions to come from them. Know that NNPC will not take everybody. Best of God. I hope to meet you as colleagues soon. Nice one bro. But I think this is an interview not an aptitude test. The questions look a bit way off. Stuffs like introduce yaself, what ya kindda offer to da NNPC family, stuffs like that. Just me thinking though, one love! |
