Angelfrost: Iranian leaders fail to learn from history... They should check with Palestine, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc...
America is already sowing the seeds... Civil war loading... Iran will soon implode if they don't caution themselves. If America lands troops in Iran, they'll be the ones to lose, and there's no chances of a civil war there. The Iranians may not like themselves very much but they're United in their hated of the US. |

FashionCapital: i sincerely appreciate ur point of view.thank God U Knw it will positively impact our economy.. naw in terms of security wise, i see no war between U.S and Iran (am nt saying iran is less capable). but come to think of it if U.S decides to test run a single missle in iran. GBAM! Any US missile over Iran will be shot down. Iran recently purchased some units of the Russian S400 air defence system and the system is much more powerful than anything the US has. The US may manage to hit some small and unprotected areas of the country, but never their major cities. Trump will bark but he can never bite in this case. A war with Iran will have an avalanche effect as it'll affect most other countries in that region, cause more dangerous extremist groups to form and attack US citizens through suicide bombings, Countries in that region will also rise to help their brother too. Also, Russia is siding Iran and you know the Russians singlehandedly stopped the war in Syria. This issue is really complex but it'll help you if you do your own research instead of depending on CNN and fox news |

imam07: You are the slowpoke here. Dont you think if Iran should have the power the US has, the world is in trouble. I don't know why all u guy use to side these terrorist countries. If most of these arab countries are strong like US, Isreal, Britain, Russia etc, the world will not be at peace. Iran does not have power to invade other country that is d reason they can't do it. Is this not this same US who rescue Iran from Iraqi oppression in many years back. Now Iran have forgotten that. It may amaze you, but Iran is quite peaceful when compared to the US. Check world history, Iraq has never invaded any country, but the US has invaded and destabilised more than 7 countries since world war 2, all under one useless excuse or the other. US is the only country causing problems around the world and right now, the only reason they've not invaded Iran is because of the Russian presence there. Also, they never rescued Iran from anyone, the problems between Iraq and Iran was really between Shia and Sunni tribes. I used to think like you too, until I learnt to do my own research instead of swallowing everything I see on CNN and BBC |

Neddstark: God bless the NAFDAC officials that finally chose to Ban Sniper. Using sniper even in the home is not safe except after 2 days after it has fully evaporated. This insecticide should be used for farms or places with serious pest issues. For those who think banning sniper was stupid, think for yourself alone. You don't know if the next worried person in your family will consider using it. I think this thing is like a spirit that pushes people to consume it. The last time I was depressed about money and I saw sniper I hid it ontop of the shelf so I never see it again. Banning sniper is like putting the cart before the horse. People will still find another way to end their lives if they can't sniper for that |

bus1: This 'server' issue came into being due to FAILURE SYNDROME which atiku & supporters are suffering from, where the losing entity clings at illusions and shadows in a futile hope that the impossible will happen and the situation will be reversed.
In a few months, it will all die down finally.
INEC deals with huge amounts of information and voter data across thousands of polling units in hundreds of local govts. All these info are stored on servers.
What INEC is simply saying is that they don't have a server where voting results were transmitted electronically to during the elections.
And because atiku's petition rests SOLELY on the imaginary notion that such a server exists, that is why any one with a brain knows that atiku's petition was dead from the word go. Keep disgracing yourself. The truth is staring you in the fact but you're allowing sentiments and politics to cloud your judgement |

Trains must generate revenue for the government and make the stakeholders look good. The project will be a failure if the masses don’t use it. You're wrong on this. The kidnappers are using kidnapping to raise funds for pursing a greater cause. I pity this country, we're not at all prepared for what's going to hit us |

linearity: Do you have a link where it was stated that, the new OS will run all android app?
It is like saying that, one can run windows apps on a Mac OS....and if they built native support for android apps, it will effectively cut down on the performance of the new OS as it will be too bunks with too many kernels.
Best option is to attract developers to develop for their new platform, which will be very tricky, because it will require additional investment from current app owners. https://consumer.huawei.com/en/emui/emui-8/https://www.forbes.com/sites/zakdoffman/2019/05/21/huaweis-new-os-could-arrive-in-2019-and-run-android-apps-chinese-media-reports/#74017cfb3b11Huawei has been working on a new OS for long, even before the Google ban. Support for android need not affect perfomance in any way. In fact, the new OS is said to be 60% faster than android. Without android support, their mobile business is as good as dead. It'll take too long for developers to start developing specifically for Huawei. The android support is a great move. If Windows, RIM and other OSs had support for running android apps, they'll still be alive by now |

frugal: Short-term, yes. Long-term, I don't think they'll make it. It won't go mainstream. At least not quickly enough before they give up.
There's a reason why the windows mobile, blackberry os, symbian os, etal all struggled till they faded out. It's the same reason why Apple's iOS thrived. It's the mobile app ecosystem.
Competition is good tho. Love it. Rooting for them. Long-term, I think it's the US that'll suffer for it. Google will lose all access to the huge market in China. Many other US companies will suffer as well. As for their OS, Yes it'll go mainstream. Their saving grace is that the OS will run all android apps. The lack of support for android is what killed off Symbian, RIM (blackberry), etc. Some other mobile phone manufacturers are already testing the new OS, it's just a matter of time before they decide to abandon Google to avoid possible US sanctions. The new OS is even reportedly 60% faster than android |

The duties of the legislature is to make sure the executive don't have absolute power, that's why most decrees have to pass a hearing on the senate before being passed into law. Without the senate, Buhari might wake up one day, pass a decree for forcefully conscripting anyone above 18 years old into the army, and there's nothing anyone will do about it. The senate is there to prevent such things from happening |
Phones › Re: 1 Million Huawei Phones Spotted With Hongmeng OS by PerfectlyPerfect(m): 3:37pm On Jun 12, 2019 |
prodigyhenry: As much as I love the never say die spirit if Huawei the sad reality is that they can't survive this for long. Google and America has them by the balls. The question is who are those who buys their phones besides their market in China,. The other continents would not go near their products except probably Africa. Because America has so bossed over the mobile application and software market that it would be crazy for anybody from Europe, Australia, the 2 Americas and most part of Asia to use phones without Facebook, WhatsApp, Google and many other application compatibility.
And to further aggravate this, America controls the media, they'd make everyone not using those applications look like they are missing everything on earth. And the advantage chinese mobiles have had over the years is providing great technology for cheap price, cheapness isn't an incentive for people living in the continents I mentioned earlier except Africa due to poverty. People in Europe, Australia, the Americas and parts of Asia would rather buy an expensive phone that gives them access to the best there is online than buy a cheap phone that offers very little in comparison. Only Africans don't have a choice and even at that those of us who can afford it would still go for the Android phones. That's why Huawei are trying to consolidate the African market but it's a pity Africa can't save them. They need the rest of the world.
This is what I think would happen, because Google would also suffer since they would lose 5 of their biggest 6 OS users. They would try to raise up another country to take over from China in mobile phone production and my guess is India, because of the population, poverty, and the great education they have in India this makes India ripe for such venture. Nigeria might have been a great option too but sadly we're not serious and once they succeed in making great Android phones with cheap prices. Then forget about Oak OS, it would die out
Both Google and Huawei would lose a lot but Huawei might lose far more in the end China has more than 700 million smartphone users, US has 300 million. China recently signed a contract with a Russian chip maker to produce their processors, thus they've effectively captured the market in Russia, which is the biggest country in the world. lots of other companies have shown interest in the new OS. It's just a matter of time before phone manufacturers totally dump android for Oak OS. The OS is compatible with Android and so Android apps will run in it. They're in talks with apptoide to use their app for managing app downloads. in the long run, who's the loser? figure it out. |

Some people will be happy over this nonsense, but they don't know that the democracy of this country has effectively been truncated.
