Ur application is gonna be glamorous... A tip for everyone... It's nt all about scores.. They always have preference for relevant experience particularly research... Atleast 2 professors I sent inquiry where quick to point fingers at my CV nt even my GPA and scores cos probably enough people have it buh cv if tweaked perfectly is the key

Thanks Boss. Are u studying in the US on funding too? What course are you doing?

Hello guys, pls I want to ask if anyone in Canada knows about this school in Quebec- Institut National de Recherche Scientifique (INRS). I am going to get a skype interview for a PhD position with an assistant prof who's lab/research is conducted in English, but am worried if I will have to take classes in French. I checked the school website and it was in English.

PhD is one tricky academic spot to secure, due to availability of funding. You need to be very lucky... I suggest you study the research expertise of those professor and come up with a good proposal based on knowledge gaps rather than sending emails.

Have you authored any publication?

Ok boss. I haven't authored a publication yet, but will do so early next year.

Hello great people, pls is there anyone running a PhD program (especially in Science-based fields) in any Canadian university here? I have sent tons of mails to potential supervisors and most of them aren't replying and the few that reply don't have funding. Pls can anyone give me a good tip/advise on this issue? I can share the nature of the mail I send to anyone who can help out

Hello house,

I will be visiting Canada (Ontario) next week for a program and would like to ask for info on the following:
1. What sort of adaptor do I come along with for my laptop and phone chargers because I learnt the Canadian switches are different from 9ja's own.

2. Do I come with more cash or with my ATM? How much do banks charges cost for atm usage? What's the black market's exchange rate?

3. Are phones and tabs cheaper to buy over there? I checked out bestbuy.ca but I don't know if the prices quoted are paid on installment basis or not.

Thanks

Very fake caption.
Number 1) she is not nigerian but an instagram celebrity.

2) she has actually called out nigerians using her oics to stop using it.

3) she is American.

4) holla if you want her twitter handle.

5) i am barely a week old on nairaland, but have seen tons of fake captions by people who want to get noticed.

What's her TL handle or IG?

Thank Chars1289 for this, i used his description in my time and it worked 100% for me.

find your way to Obalende or CMS.
Take a bus going to Lekki -Ajah
Drop at Ikate roundabout.
(it is the 3rd roundabout if you start counting from the Toll Gate)
after you drop from the bus, cross carefully,
you should see a GTB decorated gate, enter it. that is the ikate road.
Look for a building called Manor House.
it is on the left of the street.

if you use a Smart Phone. take a snapshot of this and use it for your journey.
also write it on a paper for backup.

Thank you very much sir. Just want to ask if the VAC at Billings Way, Oregun is still active or closed?
Thanks
