bettercreature: Polytechnic are just too bad infact they are destroying Nigerian EDUCATION system, you will weep for Nigeria if you attend some polytechnic lectures So true though. Come to gateway polytechnics, igbesa for a confirmation of your assertion. Though I am a poly graduate, the quality of lecturers found in our polytechnics won't allow me to call for the equalisation of HND and BSc . However, it should be noted that that it is not all university graduates that are sound. Most of them are academically poor, even poorer than graduates from most federal polytechnics. The only thing that can save the polytechnics from this malady is the application of stringent rules in the recruitment of lecturers. The NUC is doing a great job in that direction, and it is for that reason that you have many sound lecturers in universities |

tonytony208: Your spelling of "dangerous" is enough to show you off as a poly student. Many of them cant speak or write simple and correct English; just like you have displayed here. Now, which polytechnic did you graduate from? Your school's standard must have been very poor! "Dangerious"? Queen Elizabeth must hear this! You are not even better off. You have poor diction. What is the meaning of simple and correct English? Let sleeping dog lie. I'm a polytechnics graduate, and I don't believe there is any university graduate that can vie with me in terms of the use of English. Some polytechnics students are really academically poor, same with many university students / graduates. It is a fall out of our poor educational system, it neither a function of the university you attended nor is it a function of the polytechnics you attended. Albert Einstein the great was a poly graduate. |

This is time for real action! Any state that is owing salaries in excess of three months should be scrapped. If Buhari must succeed, this is the direction he needs to look at. A state that is unable to pay salaries for more than 3 months is totally not viable. Why keeping governors, house of assemblies members, special advisers etc in a state incapable of generating enough income for salary payments let alone developmental projects?
We all know the reasons those states were created by the military. We say the military is incapable of running government, yet we retain the political structures as designed by the military in a democratic setting. If we must practice true democracy, we must destroy the malstructured structures and restructure the political structure in our own way. Only in doing this can we see the change we envisioned. |
Politics › Re: NASS Election: PDP, Tambuwal, Fayose Congratulate Saraki, Dogara by perryy(m): 7:20am On Jun 10, 2015 |
2n2k: Tom Ikimi was the ACN representative in the APC merger committee while Oyegun was in ANPP. If Tinubu could support Oyegun against Ikimi, then, he is more politically accommodating than he is being given credit for.
The same thing happened in the case of senate presidency and speakership. In the early days, he was rumored to be in support of Saraki (of New PDP group in APC) and Gbajabimiala (ACN). Some northerners started accusing him of wanting to corner the two positions for Yorubas. He briefly supported Akume (ACN). His switch to Lawan (of ANPP group in APC) was first reported in ThisDay newspaper in late April when its reporter sighted Mrs Remi Tinubu campaigning for Lawan in the senate.
Neither Saraki nor Lawan are political associates of Tinubu. Even Akume cannot be counted as one. I am still at a loss to see how Tinubu would have been able to control them to the disadvantage of other APC leaders. They only need his support in so far as he can deliver the votes of the 'ACN senators' to them just like they curried the support of Kwankwaso, Atiku, other APC leaders and even PDP. . Tinubu did not support Ikimi because he knows he can't control him like his boy. Tinubu only use political weaklings who he can easily control. Oyegun is nothing but Tinubu's puppet |

Nig4Greatness: Am not sure Buhari is interested in impeaching Fayose.if not, just 50 soilders is enough to lead those lawmakers into the house.Fayose should just thank his stars. . 50 soldiers to impeach a democratically elected governor? That would amount to Buhari's coup 11. I know he won't dare that. Ekiti will become Bornu if Fayose is impeached. Why has your soldiers not able to quench crisis in Bornu?
