blym4real: Hey dude, am not evil, you can't solve a deep rooted problem by just scratching the surface, you have to start from the foundation which is the government.
You are clamouring for increase in wages in private companies when the government pay even less.
The national minimum wage is 18k, you didn't see anything wrong in that even when you are paying tax to the government but you are clamouring against private companies.
A level 15 graduate worker(about 30 years in service) in kwara state civil service earn 110k-120k. Nobody is talking about that, the foundation
of the problem is with the government. Well, if that is the angle you are looking at it, you ain't evil. But I hope kidnappers and armed robbers are fixing the problems. Very soon, the problem will be fully solved. |

Why wud a contract staff be wailing that there full staff colleagues are collecting 4* there salary. I once worked with gt and access and d former pays there entry level FS 208K and this 2 banks are not even the highest paid banks. Are contract staff not human being? Most contract staff know the job more than the so called full staff. Some are even more intelligent, what they have less is connection. So shut up your mouth. That you are privileged doesn't mean everyone is privileged. In Enterprise Bank where I worked, I was given the same job functions as the so called core staff, yet at the end of the month, I would be paid #54k while the core staff, some of them who seek knowledge from me, would smile home with 170k. That is good, in your own reckony. The fact is that these banks are breeding arm robbers, and those that support their actions and inaction now will surely become the victims tomorrow |

intergral: There is lot of dirty and evil people to be exposed after May 29th... I believe Obama knows that the government has a hand in bokoharam that why they refuse to sell them weapon and offer Nigeria help... BOKOHARAM was only a fraud if not when have the Nigerian army anounced that they've caught one Nigerian among them? Although aimed at distroying and reducing the population of the north using religion as a cover up, they capture town and villages loot them including the banks and properties for their own personal use in chaD... I also believe that had it been the news of this chibok girls broke out mistakenly GEJ would have kept Silent about it just like bunch of other cases of women and girls Kidnap, But to GEJ's biggest surprise his plans didn't work it fail and fail and fail and continue to fail till he lost the election... My biggest wish is to see buhari invest in oil exploration in the North east because Chad have already started enjoying our Desert oil which is more expensive and valuable then he can now call everybody and tell them that who so ever wants to leave should go and form their country but my believe is that once oil is confirmed in the North the SS and SW will stick to one Nigeria then the south east can now carry all their crime causing citizens back to their Biafra and do what they like without anybody giving a F*CK!!! . If I get what you are saying, it means the reason why you guys still profess one Nigeria is because you have not discover oil in your land. Immediately you discover oil, you are good to go. If that is the case, those who have discovered oil their land should be allowed to NOW. If later you have your own oil, then you can also go. I always say Nigeria is a fraud, there is nothing like one Nigeria. No one hate the word Nigeria like you northerners. You are only saying one Nigeria because you know without the south, especially the south south, you guys are doomed. This cheating is humongous and we in the south south must do something fast. |

Politics › Re: Chimamanda Adichie's Article On The Oba Of Lagos Saga by perryy(m): 1:11pm On Apr 11, 2015 |
Ymodulus: I think I will start by trying to be Anthropomorphic, as it will bet express my heading. Its really sad when insanity realizes that he has a mental disorder then he is as good as cured. The moment a people come to terms with their complex problem which often place them at loggerheads with their host communities the better for them.
I seem not to fathom how a tribe claim to have suffered humiliations and deprivation from other ethnic nationalities. This allegation should be consider very weighty even though it was not substantiated. Nonetheless, this aggrieved ethnic nationality needs to ask herself what is about it that could be responsible for the purported hostile acts of other ethnic nationalities toward it.
One problem I have with Chimanda is all her articles tends to quote Chinua Achebe, even when its evident chinua actions are wrong. The sane mistake she made, about his book "there was a country". Now she is trying to say that the Igbo's were murdered in early 1960's for political reasons? Who started the war? Was it the Nigerian Arny or The late Ojukwu ? I see Chimabda is biased. And she is just a staunt re-echoer of Chinua Achebe's belief.
I liked the fact that she related the massacre of the Ibos in different parts of the country before the civil war. However what I do like to ask her is this,
1. chimanda was there nothing that led to the massacre?
You can't deny that the tendency to dominate in another man's land which is being exhibited now by taking the Oba to court is what led to such. Tell me when you come back from court if the people of Lagos will still have a good relationship with the Ibos.
[color=#990000]Chimanda while trying to play a neutral ground at the surface, is been biased deep down. I am sorry to say but if Chimanda spent her time writing this, she wasted that time. As this just further lowered NY respect for her as an internationally recognised writer. Novel is her thing not politics.
Just imagine how shez is spreading lies about 1960s massacre. Posterity Judge you. [/c she stated the reason why people do maltreat the ibo. You were just too blind to see it. The reason is jealousy. The lazy tribes are jealous of their prosperity. |

Fellow Lagosians, it is time to key into the change mantra and actually change Lagos state's political hegemony. The change we seek we elude us if we do not rise on Saturday to destroy Tinubu's political dynasty which has been entrenched in Lagos state for a period of eons now. We need change in Lagos as it is in Abuja.
The only surefire way to have a responsive and responsible government is change. Without it, the actors at the helms of affairs will be complacent, proud, irresponsible, and at the end of the day, assumed apotheosis and take the people for a ride. Change is the only antidote for bad and complacent governance. We must not be drawn into the euphoria of Buhari's Abuja victory and fail to make change happen in Lagos . We must defy the Jagaban political infallibility and vote our conscience, vote for our future and vote for positive change. A change we all envision, a change to trust and not to fear,a change that will permeate every facet of Lagos,a change that is impervious to religion, ethnicity and regionism, a change palpable to all and not just the elites ,a change we all can feel in our homes, a change visible to all Lagosians and a change that works.
Yes, the change has started in Abuja and it will be useless if it is not replicated in Lagos which is a mini Nigeria . Lagos has been in opposition for the past 16 years, yet there is no state in Nigeria that is as developed as Lagos. Let me ask these few questions- will Buhari's government not make use of our constitution? Or is Buhari going to run a neo- military government? Will the avenues for internally generated revenue in Lagos disappear because Buhari is in Abuja and Agbaje is in Lagos? What about the federal allocation? Buhari will cease it, right? The answers to all these questions is that no matter who is in Abuja and who is in Alausa, Lagos will remain what it is- the commercial nerve center of Nigeria. Nobody can change that. So erase your fear of remaining in opposition and vote for your conscience, vote for change. |
