This is a piece from Abdulkadri Ahmed Abahd on faceboook Abdulkadir Ahmed Abahd The biggest problem of the country called Nigeria is not corruption, its known as arrant unseriousness and total stupidity of it people (Youth) that is unprecedented in history and mordern times, we are witnessing it on facebook, where an hausa is called a cow and the igbo would be called a pig and the yoruba would be called a goat.. the muslim would be called blood suckers and the christian a demonic vampires and the pegan would be forgotten about..even in higher institution we have formation of sitting in a lecture room, a roll front would be ocuppied by muslims to back by christian or opposite and yet we claim to be in a process of learning? then what do we expect from the uneducated ones? Am sorry to say We are the most mute and voiceless citizens in the history and modern times in any country. Things are going bad and nobody cares protesting, The Youth and masses at whole are the only stone of tears that can heal and bring peace and stability in our home, street, society, community, and country, Not a conference attended by the same sycophantic people whom are the victim of the great deciever decieving us and bringing corruption into the mind of the youth.. what irritates me the more is all the war- propaganda, all the screaming, devide the country and lies, deception, ignorance and hatred, comes invariably from people who are not fighting.. those of us fighting and growing hatred are perfect character playing a scene of the script.. they will be spreading and encouraging evil,(Homosexua l,Transexual, porn etc) they will hurt you, destroy your trust' eliminate your hope, annihilate your future, demolish your peace, murder your mercy, decieve your mind, kill your heart, poison your reasoning, live you inside a mendacity, give you a killer disease..etc, frustrate your life till you start to wonder if God exit Africa? while we keep on fighting ourselves mistaken a tree for a forest and they laugh at us. what i learn from our Holy scripture, (Shall i not inform you of a better act than fasting, alms, and prayers? making peace between one another. enmity and malice tear up heavenly rewards by the roots.) ...Mr. Abahd.... we are all weak, because we are not doing the right thing.. some of us are involved in one or two of that which is wrong'' fornication order of the day" the youth 85%.. Corruption 97% why? because we see it normal, homosexual 35%.. etc we are becoming the children of the devil without knowing it.. majority has gone astray.. May the Almighty God forgive us and return His guidance to us, make us strong and impervious to the enemy. They plan but not knowing that God is the Master planner. I feel the pain of the hundred, hear the cry of the thousand. imagine the situation of millions. R.I.P to the millions of people who die every day and don’t get recognized. No protracted war can fail to endanger the freedom of a democratic country. Your beliefs don’t make you a better person, your behavior does.To taste the sweetness of life, you must have the power to forget the past. Never let the pain from your past punish your present and paralyze your future. A failure is a success only if you learn from the mistakes you did. A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool. We all do better when we work together. Our differences do matter, but our common humanity matters more. I dream of the realization of the unity of NIGERIANS, whereby its leaders combine in their efforts to solve the problems of this NATION. I dream of our vast deserts, of our forests, of all our great wildernesses. because of our unseriousness some couldnt sleep, some starving, some became orphan, some became prostitude, some unmitigated beggers, some arrant anti peace. we wont forget that we share one soul, we share one land, we all one human kind. All the calamity, hunger etc will not wait for all the promises we made. prayers and result will be to slow for the ignorant.. the power of the devil is great over the ignorant. one learned man is harder on the devil than a thousand of ignorant worshipper. unfortunately the majority are becoming ignorant in my country call NIGERIA.. From the Tortoises .... They want war by all means. keep looking for trouble, a day will come when that trouble will be looking for you. They want the war so that they can control you. War is their great weapon. With war they can divide a strong country. They are thirsty for your war. When thirsty you can do anything to quench that thirst. War = raW. WAR WAR WAR WAR WAR WAR WAR. They will make the environment suitable for war. They will manipulate you making you to believe that war is the solution. What do you expect from the wolves.. after all the lions are told not to interfere, maybe the Elephants knows of a solution better. Lets here from the Lion... If we we're given the chance we would have crushed them down. we want to feed them with fire not war. We want to give them a slap on the face. but they gave the wolves the chance not us the Lions. Lets hear from the Elephants... We are watching, Even though we are not as wise.as the Tortoises, but its hard for us to forgive the unforgettable. When we begins. surely the buffaloes will join us to stamp down the forest. The hyena's haz nothing to say' they seems to be on any side that's winning.. their laughing habits makes it hard for us to know whats on their mind... Mr. Abahd.. https://m.facebook.com/comment/replies/?ctoken=802451219822018_802464506487356&ft_ent_identifier=802451219822018&gfid=AQCjVt898ga0SC7y&refid=52 |

Reference:And y would dey close it down tah ina lilahi waina ilehi rajiun that's the world Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un (Arabic: إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ) is a part of a verse from the Qur'an which translates to "Surely we belong to Allah and to Him shall we return". The phrase is recited by Muslims when a person experiences a tragedy in life, especially upon hearing news that a Muslim has died. The phrase is also recited in situation that involve risk of any sort So that's it prayer continues the deed has been done |

Wife of President Goodluck Jonathan, Dame Patience Jonathan, on Monday urged Nigerians, especially women to re-elect the President in the 2015 election. The First Lady said it is time for Nigerian women to show appreciation to President Jonathan by coming out en mass to vote for him, for being gender sensitive by appointing women into key political offices. She made the call while declaring open a two- day national conference on women and 2015 election in Abuja. The conference with the theme: “Making a Difference,” was put together by the Independent National Electoral Commission, the Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development and the United Nations Development Project (UNDP). The Minister of Water Resources, Sarah Ochekpe, who represented the First Lady, stated that women must be ready to invest their time and resources to create more opportunities for their participations in policy making as well contribute their quota to nation’s economic and political growth. Ochekpe, who called on the National Assembly to implement the national policy for gender, however charged women especially political aspirants to seize the opportunity of the conference to acquire leadership trainings and be informed of the of the proper electoral processes that will improve the country. http://thenationonlineng.net/new/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Patience-Jonathan1.jpg

President Goodluck Jonathan on Saturday expressed confidence in the ability of youth in the country to contribute to national development, if given the necessary encouragement. Mr. Jonathan stated this in his goodwill message to the sixth convocation of Michael Okpara University of Agriculture, Umudike, Abia. Congratulating the graduates for their “remarkable achievement,” Mr. Jonathan said, “I have hope in the Nigerian youth.” “I believe that with proper parental, communal and governmental support, our youths will not only excel academically but will also flourish in their chosen professions,” he said. The president, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, MacJohn Nwaobiala, charged universities in the country to efficiently deploy National Economic Empowerment and Development Strategy, NEEDS, funds to infrastructure needs. He expressed happiness that public universities in the country were “much better now” following recent financial releases made to them in line with their NEEDS assessments. “As we work to sustain this approach, it is my hope that most tertiary institutions will be able to develop infrastructurally, and also improve on their academic service delivery,” he said. The president commended the governing council and management of the institution for transforming it “within the context of enhanced government support to the education sector”. “They could not have been achieved without prudent management of resources,” he said. He also expressed delight with the university authorities for constructing 10 hostel blocks of 500-bed space capacity with internally generated revenue, describing the achievement as “a rare feat.” In his speech, the Abia State Governor, Theodore Orji, called for the diversification of the nation’s economy. Mr. Orji, who was represented by his deputy, Emeka Ananaba, said Nigeria should look beyond oil and immediately commence the harnessing of its agricultural potential in order to save the economy from collapse. He said that the essence of establishing universities of agriculture in the country was to produce needed manpower for the development of the agricultural sector. He said that the state government had enunciated major policies and programmes to boost agricultural production and ensure food security. Earlier, the Vice Chancellor of the university, Hilary Edeoga, thanked the Federal Government for releasing N2.7 billion to the school for the tackling of its “teething problems’’. Mr. Edeoga said that the institution also received N500 million to facilitate the payment of allowances to its staff. He, however, appealed to the government to approve the payment of the balance of the NEEDS Assessment fund and the allowance to the university. A total of 17 graduands, out of the 1878, graduated in the First Class division.
