EmeeNaka: Most things there are something you can do. What I don't understand is the payment of accommodation. How can you pay for Accommodation when you haven't got Visa. I don't know whether accommodation fees are refundable. But just rally round and get those things done. Your salary account being empty doesn't matter, if money dey enter there, just provide it. They just want to see if you really are employed as you may have claimed. If I may ask, when did you apply? January 15th |

Guys I was sent this today...how can I tackle the 3rd part as there is no way I can pay the full tuition and accommodation when I am not guaranteed an approval. Also, my salary account is always empty as the statement is being asked for.

It will end in praise On my notes, on the pre assessment note they didn’t write anything noteworthy except bank statement to be verified. And the eligibility stated recommend interview. |

I intend to apply for GCMS if I don't hear anything by end of May. Yes eligibility review has started and on my gcms states recommend interview |

Anon123: You will need to contact your school and let them know of the change in your visa situation. That way, they would process your admission letter. Apart from that, you will need to wait till you get a PPR Ok thanks , will just wait till the PPR then. |

peruxie: Gurus, I am a January applicant and I haven’t gotten a decision till date. I was meant to start classes this month( May) but I had to defer. But unfortunately my school had a full capacity already for September session and had to choose January 2022and I was told I won’t get a new LOA till when they start processing in July 2021. So my question is, if for instance I get a PPR this month (May) how do I let IRCC know that I have deferred to January pending the time I get my new LOA from my school as I won’t want to be asked to do a fresh visa application. |

Ade2303: Hello everyone
I just realized one should also mention previous refusal in other countries in one’s new application, Although, I mentioned the refusal I had in Canada but didn’t know I should mention the one I had in US in my new application too,
1. is there a way I can address this mistake to IRCC? 2. Do I need to wait for their response first before addressing it to them? 3. How severe can this mistake affect my application?
I re-applied in early March without NSE documents and no upfront medical, no update yet though Don’t wait for them o! Raise a webform attaching the form where it has been correctly filled and point that out with an explanation letter. |

Pinkey2021: Sorry I didn’t get the email. But to answer your question YES, I wrote a simple letter ON THE WEBFORM ITSELF explaining that it was an unintentional error. I referred them to my submitted Letter of Explanation where I mentioned that I was denied last year and have no intention to misrepresent in anyway.
Then I sent the letter as an email body to almost all the IRCC email addresses, lol, referring them to my webform.
The letter should include your name, Application number, and UCI (if it’s a reapplication).
Note: I did not attach the new corrected form in the emails I sent, I only attached it in webform.
I hope my explanation is clear? Let me know if you need more clarity.
{It’ll Surely End in Praise for Us All} Ok that’s quite clear ..sorry I am being an Oliver Twist here..could you send me a template for the letter you sent.that would be very helpful.thanks ... my email peruxie@yahoo.co.uk |

Pinkey2021: Let me officially introduce myself.
I’m not very new although I’m new!
I’ve been lurking in the backgrounds of Nairaland since early 2020 after I submitted my first application. And my! Have I grown since then.
I first heard about this place from a Nigerian-Canadian YouTuber sometime mid 2019.
After my first application, I became an active reader and soon realized the mistakes with my application. Even before the refusal came I knew I would be refused because my application was just rubbish
But since after the delay, I’ve read and learned a lot from the gurus and expert here starting from as far back as thread 13! I became an active reader from thread 15 till date.
I’ve just reapplied after all the life changing nuggets that I gleaned from gurus like @frankrobbn1 @justmellow and some other very old names I can’t mention now.
I was in the background live when @Luckymama @fratermathy and the rest were here doling out advices and tips. I even remember when @Lekiboboe joined and asked his first question And today he’s a guru of repute even though he would want us to believe he’s not. My brother only God almighty will reward you for all your efforts and time given to this thread.
Here’s my timeline as it stands now: First Application: April 25, 2020 Biometrics: Sept 24, 2020 BVL: Sept 25 2020 Refusal: Sept 26
Second Application Deferred program to Fall (Sept), 2021 Upfront Medical: Feb 25, 2021 Submitted: Mar 4, 2021 with MBS Background Check: Mar 5, 2021
On 11th Mar (7days after I applied, I realized I mistakenly opted ‘NO’ to that infamous question about if one has been denied Canadian visa or any other country visas before. I quickly filled out a new e1294 form with the correct info and sent via webform. At the same time I sent a very compelling email to all the IRCC email addresses individually, pleading with them that it was an honest mistake.
Only Beijing and Edmonton I think responded that they’ve received my new form and updated my application with it. The email also assured me that my application is still being processed.
So, that’s where I am currently in my journey. I decided to become active by rendering solutions to the best of my knowledge and capacity to anyone who requires it. I’m not a guru though. I’m just someone whom Nairaland Canada visa thread has helped a great deal.
{It’ll Surely End in Praise for Us All} hi I sent you an email request... When resending the form did you attach any letter of explanation on the webform? |

Hi guys..I applied for my student visa in January 15th 2021 and I just found out today In the section where I was asked whether I have been denied visa by Canada or any other country before I ticked NO. But on the contrary I was denied a schengen visa in 2019. Also I found out I ticKed NO in the national identity number section. What can I do in such a situation as my eligibility review has started in my profile. Urgent response pls. |

Teeprecious: Firstbank does MBS tho it's new and not all branches are on the platform. Payment of 1000 plus 15 naira Vat is made on paydirect platform to generate a receipt. Thereafter, the MBS request form will be forwarded to one of the selected processing branches by the csu officer of your branch of visit. I went there today and they still insisted they don’t have such |

oyibo4real: Hmmm! I've been imagining how its gonna be the day I'll receive my PPR and the D-day has finally come, mine came with mixed feelings though, but am ELATED, that's all that matters now
I thank you all for celebrating with me, I don't want to quote you to avoid making the thread unnecessarily long, thank you, thank you, and thank you again. May it continually end in PRAISES for US ALL in JESUS MIGHTY NAME, AMEN!!!
Special Thanks to all those that still keep this thread alive, the likes of Lekiboboe, Frankrobin, Justmelow, Awys, and a host others, you guys are the real MVPs, God richly bless you in all your good endeavours, Amen!!!
Submitted on 24th January 2021 Biometrics done on 25th January 2021 Medicals on 1st week of February(cant remember the exact date shaa) Medicals passed on 7th February 2021 Eligibility started on 9th/10th February 2021
Submitted my Son's own on 27th January 2021 There was no need for biometric as he's just 7 years old We did medicals together and he passed his same date with mine.
I guess he was supposed to receive his PPR today too, but they sent a message requesting that I fill a study permit form in place of the visitor's form I submitted earlier. I was also asked to pay an additional fee of $50 to complete the $100 paid initially for visitor's visa.
If I start typing the docs I submitted, this post will be too long and some people might feel intimidated. All in all, just package your application well and leave no stone unturned, every application is unique so I advise you submit according to your situation but ensure to dot all your 'i's and cross your 't's.
MINE HAS ENDED IN PRAISE AND I WISH THE SAME TO ALL THE HOPEFULS IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME, AMEN!!! congrats dear, was it through the normal processing route? |
