Thanx boss... You have been doing a great work here. One thing bothering me is that of accomodation. How can I secure a cheap place I can stay on arrival since I dont know anybody or friend there, from where I can now search fir a better place? I learnt from previous posts that it is cheaper and better to stay off campus, I have been thinking of how to secure a comfortable and yet inexpensive one so that I can have a place I can stay on arrival.

Well, I have been following this forum for sometime now. Hopefully, I intend coming to the University of Portsmouth to study a business inclined undergraduate course. By the grace of God, I should be there by january.
I was hoping our folks out there will keep updating us on a lot of survuval tips, so that we would not miss them out as we are preparing.

First if all, Its nt a good thing that you first introduced yourself as rich and have so many good things. You should just come in neutral, but let us face this. All I have to say is that you should be patient with Naija generally, lay low and learn about us, ask questions where necessary, network and finally be very careful, patients with naija ladies. You will finaly get to find the right one amongst all one of these days.

Please, can someone explain to me what this "Money lodgement" issue is all about? According to what I read lately, one's account statement should show all transactions for the last six months. But in my own case, I just opened my account. paid my part tuition fee from there, and also have the remaining balance and that of accomodation there too.
With this, I think my account statement would show only transactions for the past month, going by when my account was opened. Hope it will not affect my visa application?

@Skywalker; Thanx all thesame. For the barbing, I intend to work for people not start my own business there, it will be my part time job. I will also try to work in between the restricted hours according to the visa rules. I prefer a more flexible part time work, than other regular jobs.

Pls, I need a little clarification on this financial status for visa application. I need about 3 million naira before I can be given visa, but have just 1.5 million naira in my account at the moment.
My little question is whether, can I start counting towards the 28 days duration with this money I have in ny account now, as still continue to work on completing it to the required sum or must I start counting towards the 28 days when my total sum is complete?
