You didn't forecast investors negative perceptions of Transcorp.

How will transcorp bad books move the price North.

And how come you're predicting stockrmageddon for highly profitable stocks and forecasting positive outlook for transcorp?
Abeg tell me which other STOCKARMGEDDON can be compare with a STOCK that fell from N7:15k in 2014 down to 66kobo in 2016 before building a fresh support huh

Tony Elumelu, chairman of Transcorp Group and United Bank for Africa (UBA), says Nigeria’s power sector is a walking corpse, and it may collapse soon if no urgent action is taken.

https://www.thecable.ng/the-power-sector-is-a-walking-corpse-says-elumelu

Transcorp Power Holdings is owed almost N50 billion. When we put in the invoice for this month, we should be owed almost N54 or N55 billion. How do you survive in business like this? How? Other GenCos I know are actually dying.

.........The truth is Transcorp power, as a key operator in the sector, is struggling. And if we are struggling, you can imagine what others are going through

.......He said Transcorp was negotiating with GE to bring in turbines worth $500 million, but had to shelve the plan because the company could not secure the necessary foreign exchange for the deal.

Transcorp is no go area from now.

Indeed, a commentator has said there are currently 11 different Naira/Dollar exchange rate regimes in the country. He attributed this to continued scarcity and CBN’s dominance of the market. He listed the different rates as follows:

Pilgrims rate, N197/$;

Customs rate, N285/$;

Budget rate, N305/$;

Interbank rate, N315/$;

Fuel Imports rate, N316/$;

International Card rate, N319/$;

Travelex rate, N345/$;

Special Funds Airlines rate, N355/$;

Western Union rate, N375/$;

BDC rate, N399/$

And the Black Market rate, N492/$. grin

Proceeds repatriated by foreign investors from their liquidated stocks portfolio reached record highs of N236 billion in 11 months to November 2016, BusinessDay checks at the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) revealed.
These foreign investors who hitherto were big buyers of Nigerian stocks have been seeking for safe havens for investments, as they became wary of developments in Nigeria’s macro economy with paltry investment inflow of N 237.03billion in stocks in the nine months period.
Many analysts were bearish on foreign inflows into equities as the market rode the roller coaster of oil price. Other negative triggers to foreign investors sell decisions were analysts’ expectations of unimpressive corporate results, as foreign exchange (FX) issues blighted many listed firms.

Oil ticked lower on Monday, falling for the first time in three sessions as prospects of rising U.S. production weighed on the market.

U.S. energy companies last week added the most rigs drilling for new production in almost four years. Drillers added 29 rigs in the week to Jan. 20, bringing the total count up to 551, the most since November 2015, energy services firm Baker Hughes said on Friday.

Investors in increasingly popular Bitcoin felt the pain today as the price of the crypto-currency fell by 20 percent or over 1,200 Yuan in heavy trading in China, and down more than $100 to just under $800 a coin on comparable US markets.

This follows China’s central bank saying it had launched “spot investigations” on bitcoin exchanges in Beijing and Shanghai in order to fend off market risks.

https://www.businessdayonline.com/bitcoin-crashes-800-china-probes-manipulation-exchanges/

BITCOIN has crashed from $1140 on Jan 4th to below $800per bitcoin as at yesterday Jan 11th 2017.

*TAKE NOTE*

BITCOIN was initially enlisted @ 1cent per coin in 2010.

Imagine the kind of hellish profits the Pioneers are making from it which made them now turn it into a bonus referrals business and some gullible Nigerians that wants to become overnight millionaires are jumping into the bandwagon.

But bros,unless you already have FO in your portfolio,i will advice you go for Eterna instead of FO.
Let him be ranting in 2012 when FO traded N8 how much was crude price then.

For those that follow trends in 2013 when FO started ascending from SubN10 it consosilidated around N40 the moved again and consolidated around N80 from there above N100 and finally met the BRiCKWALL @ N254.

It's the same staircase its use for descending.

FO aka AP drop from N300 in 2007 down to N8 in 2012 then climb back to N250 in 2015 and has been on the descent since then even touched N50 last year-end

So you still need a soothsayer to tell you its going home to MAMA huh

FOOD 4 THOUGHT

A man established a zoo and made the entrance fee 50000= but no one went there.

He reduced it to 40000= but still no one came.

He then reduced the fee to 20000= but still people didn't come.

Finally, he made it free entrance and soon, the zoo was filled with people.

Then he quietly locked the gate of the zoo, set the lions free and made the exit fee 150,000= and everyone paid.

FOOD 4 THOUGHT cool

Put a frog into a vessel fill with water and start heating the water.

As the temperature of the water begins to rise, the frog adjust its body temperature accordingly.

The frog keeps adjusting its body temperature with the increasing temperature of the water. Just when the water is about to reach boiling point, the frog cannot adjust anymore.

At this point the frog decides to jump out. The frog tries to jump but it is unable to do so because it has lost all its strength in adjusting with the rising water temperature.

Very soon the frog dies.
What killed the frog?
Think about it!
I know many of us will say the boiling water.

But the truth about what killed the frog was its own inability to decide when to jump out.

We all need to adjust with people & situations, but we need to be sure when we need to adjust & when we need to move on.

There are times when we need to face the situation and take appropriate actions.

If we allow people to exploit us physically, emotionally, financially, spiritually or mentally they will continue to do so.

Let us decide when to jump!
Let's jump while we still have the strength.
