Mr. Baker-friendly, who cake ‘epp? grin
Apart from the dentistry, diabetic care and weight watchers industries?!

With that money the celebrant can buy what she/he really wants and create JOBS for people making/selling those things...
Thing about economies is constant change and evolution (just like culture). Eg, if tap water comes to a community, water tankers disappear.

When GSM mobile phones arrived, phone centers disappeared, but MORE JOBS were created, not just in the GSM companies, but also in ancillary businesses from building/maintaining cell sites and towers to stuff like selling accessories and recharge cards, fixing phones, etc.
>
Those items you mentioned are economic innovations... money cakes have no value..

OP you should adapt to the new trend na. Is it not still humans who do these so called money cakes? huh huh huh
The money cake is just cardboard and ribbon, with already manufactured currency..

But the actual cake involves
Flour from farmers
Sugar
Designers
Eggs from poultry farmers
Word from carpenters
Logistics
Kitchen equipments and utensils from traders
Intelligence from education etc....

We are too populated to be killing jobs.

Job can be defined as employment, work or occupation, it is a person's role in society. More specifically, a job is an activity, often regular and often performed.

Jobs are not created from the blues, they are created via our daily specific activities.

They are coined from our daily habits alongside country policies..

The main purpose of this thread is the new habit of money cakes in place of actual cakes.. some might call it bluff, but its becoming a trend and gradually becoming a norm.

The activities that involve cakes are diminishing daily..

Weddings are on an alltime low, Birthdays are barely celebrated these days. How then do we want the bakers to feed when we deliberately kill jobs with trendy habits.

Of what use is a money cake to the society, what economic gain has it added to the economy?.. zero/zilch, but has taken food out the mouth of millions from that created through cake-baking.

Please let's be cautious, our money cake trendy habit kill jobs, our economy is at the brink on employment.. we cant keep harming ourselves. Coming from our so-called celebrities goes to show most dont think beyond their noses.

Note: I am not a Baker, just a concerned citizen.

PoliticsRe: Experts Tells Southern Governors To "Buckle Up On Food Production" by Peterobi90: 7:58am On Mar 04, 2021
We need to inculcate to the young that "FARMING IS NOT A POOR MAN JOB"

The southern society needs to make Farming attractive to the young.
PoliticsRe: MC Oluomo's Son To Those Calling His Father A Tout: 'Get A Father Like Mine' by Peterobi90:
Well, the route to success has no defined pattern... touting paid his father because the leaders we elected enabled it. Indirectly, we enabled touting.

If it was not his father, it would be someone else's..
PoliticsRe: Eastern Nigeria Guerrilla War: IGP To Igbo Leaders: Caution IPOB, ESN by Peterobi90:
The alledged unprovoked killing of police men and burning of stations is something the ESN/IPOB should not be known for, because even the SE would skin them alive if they decide to turn coat.

Life is cherished on this side of the river..

Why didn't you find the alternative before
Because they have never been pushed to the wall.. now they have.
PoliticsRe: Prices Of Food Items Rise In Kano, Abuja, Lagos, Others by Peterobi90: 7:46am On Mar 03, 2021
A business man never plays with advantages... the North might loose its monopoly of agricultural produce with this development.

Once an alternative is found, it would be difficult to regain control.
PoliticsRe: 386 Soldiers Quit Army In 1 Year – Reps by Peterobi90: 7:40am On Mar 03, 2021
How can you be fighting a war where the criminals that kill your collegues and people are pardoned and rehabilitated.
PoliticsRe: Kano Tomato, Onion Farmers, Marketers Lose Big As Blockade Persists by Peterobi90:
The North is making a grave mistake with this, History would see this as "In 2021, during the great covid pandemic, Northern Nigeria blocked its borders against the south to starve them of food thereby causing serious inflation in a recessive economy in southern Nigeria, under the Northern presidency"

This is the same spirit that brought about the "Never again" mantra of the Chinese Agricultural revolution in 1980.

If the south eventually finds an alternative within and with neighbouring countries, it would be an effect that would last a life time.

PoliticsRe: Blockade: Beef Scarcity, Rising Cost Of Food Items Hit Southern States by Peterobi90: 7:36am On Mar 01, 2021
The problem is not making it permanent... or the strike sustainable..

You see, we cant really invest in Agriculture the way we want to because, before you know it, the strike has been lifted and the new investments catching up would be at a loss rather than rapid with the ongoing strike..

I think if the southern Governors support the move alongside FG, it would raise core Agricultural investors from the south.

Only the Northern populace can solve its problem..

When they start killing the kidnappers and their associates alongside destroying their ill-gotten properties like it was done it other regions, and not "my brother, my fellow muslim or christian talks" in no time, it would reduce drastically.

Abdul be proud of your Jihadi tribe

Is "Governments" incompetence an excuse for bandits and fulani terrorists to get high and be killing/kidnapping ordinary Nigerians who are suffering from the same incompetence
Yes.... Governance is all about balancing..

The North would be hit hard because the region is majorly restricted to just drugs due to religious doctrine, for the south, have you not noticed the very hight consumption rate of local gins in various bottles with absurd names alongside increase in gambling habits aswell... these spikes are as a result of poverty.
CrimeRe: Marwa: Kidnappers Now Ask For Ransom In Drugs by Peterobi90: 7:23am On Feb 26, 2021
The Governments incompetence made drug consumption very high, with the level of strife for many, a lot just want to escape reality..

No, the SE are very envious, jealous and sad..

Nah emotions you dey use reason politics matter..

Go learn how it's been played, then you'll realize there's nothing to fear about the north.
The SE cant be jealous, envious and sad... but has supported every candidate from different regions.. I think some regions are actually greedy, lack empathy and cunning.

It's the hardworking self entrepreneural populace that made that possible, likewise Lagos state and maybe Kano state..

Ibos won't start campaigning for their own candidate now oo, it's Tinubu's matter they would focus on
The SE is even a bit lenient with Tinubu as presidential candidate.. you should fear the Northern populace more. The SE are only more vocal.

In all, there are better options...
