I tell you there's God that's why somebody with a cronical disease get healed by miracle, or a blind man received his sight back, or God created heavens and the earth yet you said all this didn't prove existence of God. Then why can't you give me a similar story or event that will really show God is not the one responsible for these.

Agreed.so how do we humans solve the problem of "which God created the universe?" There are over a million out there so why should we elevate the Jewish one above our local gods? You're still dodging my question on whether you believe the yoruba creation story.

It seems you didn't get my analogy of "a" and "b" options.Let's say your claim is "a" and mine is "b" and that the answer must be between the two it then follows that if "a" Os wrong, "b" is correct.How can unbelief be backed up by faith as we know in the religious context? Hello nairalanders, I'm quite new to this forum (in terms of posting) so I may be a bit rusty.In Nigeria here we're besieged by so many negatives that the future looks bleak in every direction and our tertiary institutions churn out graduates who go out to look for non-existent jobs so if you have to make it,you've got to be self made.
Let's face it as entrepreneurs (let me use that word) we're supposed to see opportunities everywhere and as most successful people would say, you find wealth wherever you find problems so I can now say that by knowing exactly what are problems are and where we want to be, we can find that idea that will turn some of us into the next zuckerberg, bill gates etc The main objective of this thread is to get us to list the problems in Nigeria here.I'm sure we can be co-operative enough to provide problems here and thus provide solutions and possibly, that mega business idea.Thanks

Do we now draw the conclusion that she is alive or dead because we have insufficient evidence to prove our case? Without a body there is no way we can tell if this lady is alive or dead...

Christians are not Atheists to other gods...Christians believe in the existence of other deities apart from the God we choose to serve...we do not deny this fact. Atheists on the other hand deny the existence of any deity.

I am cool when an Atheist tells me that he refuse to believe my claim of a God but I find it a bitter pill to swallow when the Atheist in denying my claim makes a claim of his own in the process.

If I say there is God (a claim) and an Atheist says there is no God (a counter claim) then that Atheist must prove his claim o, since he wants me to prove mine.
