MAYOWAAK: Once upon a time, a man named Tai Solarin founded the Mayflower School in Ikenne,Ogun State. The Late Tai Solarin was an unrepentant 'atheist'. Yet, christians, muslims, traditional worshippers sent their kids to the school because of the quality of education. The school flourished and produced some of the best brains in Nigeria of today. In spite of the quality, the school fees wasn't out reach of the average Nigerian family. Tai Solarin, though an atheist, his legacy forever lives on. Now the question is, how many 'Christian' families can afford to send their kids to the current 'Christian' private school founded by popular pentecostal movements? Moral of the story, you need not to wear a white collar or grow long beard to impact on humanity. Service to humanity is not a religious matter.

Point is that the bible cant keep contradicting itself from one page to the next.. I will accept that Jesus raised dead peoples.. I will accept because everything about Jesus is unbelievable.. From his conception to his death to his rising all defy explanation.. So I will leave his matter as he is the Son of God. But what about the ones that humans are doing today?!

Its easy to claim that a Pastor raised a dead person, but the Pastors cant seem to path seas, walk on water, make axes float, get swallowed by Whales and spat out, be resistant to snake venom or even change water to wine.

I insist that he wasnt dead.. If God|Christians wants to impress me, he|They should try raising a deadbody that has been embalmed... Until then, my take is that his body was in a state of psuedo death that fooled even doctors.

There's been an award winning Broadway musical that's been on for the last two years titled FELA!. Hugely successful, the show has played on stage in the US, UK, Holland, Nigeria, etc...and has been seen by guests as diverse as Madonna, Will Smith, Beyonce, Wole Soyinka, Jay Z, Harry Belafonte, Spike Lee, and Michelle Obama.

That type of appreciation is worth more than all the money in the world.

There's been no Broadway show for titled Michael Jackson or the Beetles but can you dare say fela is greater than any of them?This is not about charity begins at home.

gst101: @peterphd i am not pretending that every thing is right. If the woman cheats and her husband knows about it but didnt do anything, and the husband gets punished. This isnt to say that the woman is 'left alone'.

In that society (the old one), a woman who does such a thing that leads to her husband's death is stigmatzed. Such stigmatization is sever enough to be a punishment. So you can see she is not absolutely 'left alone'.
