Yes God will forgive and has forgiven when you accept christ but how sure are you to know the day you will die?death can be sudden and accidental that's why it's better to accept jesus christ as Lord and personal saviour and have right and holy life in God through jesus should incase death comes suddenly you are saved and even if not you are still guaranteed of forgiveness and heaven
