I stay in Abuja. You can try it with 2.4m. I am using 2.4m and able to get 96% on the strongest frequency 3660 H 8883. The Channels on Frequency 3800V20000 is are two frequencies. While I got 72% on 4147V8850.

The frequency u used is very OK. Try as much as possible to tune your LNB to get the highest signal. Make sure you don't insert the LNB to deep into the holder. Check my pictures very well. When the LNB is allowed deep into the holder, you will loose signal and if the LNB is not inserted well, you will never gain the optimum signal. Also use this frequency: 4055 R 26000. Check my pictures for guide.

My brother, I am very sorry for not been able to post it now. Yesterday rain spoiled the whole show. It rained from morning till almost the evening here in Abuja yesterday. I could not get home until very late in the night. But, I already instructed my wife to snap it for me today. By evening or first thing in the morning, I shall post everything.

I will post the picture of my own tomorrow with 4 LNBs; NSS-12 @ 57 as primary, up is 68.2, followed by Apstar 76 and finally bellow it is Champion TV @ 53.8.

If you check flysat.com: 3914 R 8000, my people, it sounds as if IRIB want to come there. You will see IRIB above Hispan HD TV and
Press TV HD. I believe IRIB will soon come back or may be they are back already.

Surprising for me yesterday in Abuja here, I went to reset my friend 3.2m dish to get better signal on Badr 26 dgree east, but I decided to try BEin Sports channels on 25.5E, to my surprise, I got everything from HD1 to HD16. It is a big boost to my moral. And it is a good news for us who are living in Abuja environment.

You are actually right but I found joy doing it that way. Even, I am on the verge of adding the following: Eutelsat 8 West A, Eutelsat 5 West A, Intelsat 10-02 -C-band 0.9°W and Eutelsat 10A 10.0°E (C-band). I already tracked them but I shall fix the LNB very soon. Thank God I am back to the forum.

That dish is awesome.I can see close to 7 lnbs and enough RG16 cable.
But if we do the costing of this lnb and the cables plus the disc.plus the stress to set it up.mehn! Its not a child's play.
I think we should rather go for motorise set up than fixed dish.most of us make this mistake when we purchase our first dish as time goes by we understand we are limited to a particular satellite and as a result of the curiosity and fever in this hobby we always want to explore and have more satellites.
Fixed dish should be discouraged.we should embrace motorise than fixed with over 20 lnb. All you need is jack and positional which in an actual fact the price is not up to those lnb , cable and the stress.

You need to take your time on your 1.8m. I am assuring you, it is possible. Do you know on my 2.4m, I got several other satellites like 10E c-band, 0.8W KU and C-band, 5w ku and c-band, 26E ku (12303v27500) etc. But I removed them after checking the channels and they are not better than what I already have. I got dstv position a bit far from that Arabsat 20E, but the signal level I got was not more than 60% using 12245V27500 frequency. I am still working on others to see what my 2.4m can give me.

SULIEMAN3: It won't be possible while nilesat is at west and arabsat is at east. Its better you go with one out of the two.

My fellow gurus, check what I did on my new 2.4m dish. The empty arrow shown represent where u can add another LNB to track Joy TV and W3a. Very close to that Joy Tv is DSTV. More to be added between today and tomorrow Saturday.

Thanks my brother, Like I said that time, I cannot yet see Al Jazeera sports channel at Yahsat but they are showing EPL now. Because of that I migrated from my 1m dish to 2.4m t0 accommodate Jsc +6 to +10. I was only ale to watch +1 to +5 with my 1m dish formally. I wish to post the picture of my 2.4m set up, and see how I attached Arabsat 20E to it with IRIB dancing well on it.

n9jaboy: Morning Sat Gurus, Recall with ur help and what I’ve learnt here I was able to track mytv and multitv on 90cm last year. With sat guy doing guy for me I decided to put my sat-phobia aside and tracked nilesat myself, even transferred my Amos5 16/17°E and 28°E to my 1.8m dish. My problem is my multitv signal wont exceed 56% as against the 72% I had on my 90cm and I was hoping Badr 5 will pop up. Secondly@ 7°W my MBCs signal didn’t exceed 56%, @Petfun4u I’ve cut my fuji lnb as advised (Dubai One didn’t come up). Could all these problem emanate from my lnb holder? Usually I do see people place theirs as indicated by the green dot in my picture.
I tracked 36.0°E and got free CNN, Silverbird, Setanta action, CCTV etc, which bird can I add to 36.0°E position and on my 1.8? Who on this forum from Abuja knows where I can get an 8 way Diseqc to buy? Thank you

My man and I just bought my own 8-ways Diseqc on Tuesday from a friend. He has it up to 7 that day> I don't know if the thing still remain. I reside in Bwari, Abuja. But price is #2,500.

I tried adding Dstv to amos5 but couldnt hit green using 60 cm dish.
I was able to hit green on multitv some distance above the primary lnb but no success on dstv.
Pls how do i easily add dstv lnb on amos5?
And the working TP for dstv.thank you my gurus.

Dstv is few inches above the Multi TV. Use 12245H27500.

My dear people in the house, I have two (2) informations I want to share. These I gathered from a reliable person yesterday, BUT, I don't know if it is true.
1. I heard that Al Jazera sports will start showing EPL as from next season but they will be using Yahsat-1A 52.5°E
2. That HiTV are planning to return back before the EPL new season in a new way.

Please, let no one crucify me on these two points. I don't know like I said earlier if the information is true. I am presently still researching to confirm his claim.
