I used the checklist on the German website as a guide. Just ensure you make 2 copies of the originals as stated there. Where original is not available except soft copy I. e admission letter, just Make 3 copies...... Use one as original and the rest as photocopies. For the motivation letter, prepare a handwritten one then make 2 photocopies. Also get 3 copies of CV.......use 1 as original and the remaining 2 as photocopies. Hope u copy what am saying

Gents and Ladies, got to embassy at 5:30am this morning and I met 3 guys on the queue. Paulinos arrived and instructed the police man to allow the students in first at 5:50am . So we were 3 at that time and I became no.2 . 1st ,2nd and 3rd students visa appointment please come in,arrange your documents in accordance with my instruction. "I told you to put the photocopies and the originals in one sit here,Paulinos yelled at me. You people have ears, try and hear with it!" He later commended me and the 3rd guy for properly arranging our documents and making available all photocopies, meanwhile the 1st guy wasn't allowed to move in due to missing photocopies. So,I became the first person to move in.

" Please give me the originals , your admission letter, your passport copies and 27,500 naira only. He entered some data into her system,ok, give me all the photocopies".

Please pick up the microphone. Now the interview:

You do not need a format

Your sponsor needs to make an appointment at the Ausländerbehörde in his city.

They would give he/she a date to come in, as well as the required documents to bring along to verify that he/she is suitable to be your sponsor for your visa. It cost 25€

Once your sponsor has fulfilled all the necessary requirement, he would be issued a document, which is the sponsorship letter, duly stamped (that is the sponsorship letter). He needs to send the copy to you as the embassy needs to see the original format. You can ask that he/she scans it before sending it via courier, as you would need it as part of the documents for your visa interview.

All what your sponsor needs from you is your full name (as it appears on your passport) date of birth and your address here in Nigeria (for the courier)

Sponsorship letter from a full time student with part time employment of any kind will not be accepted by the embassy. I do not know of the situation that arises when the person works full time and studies part time. The gurus in the house can help us with that info.

So sorry to hear of your diagnosis. Yes, the CIC medical test generally includes a HIV test. Under existing protocol for permanent residency and long term non immigrants as students, CIC has the discretionary authority to determine through a medical test result, whether a person's health may constitute excessive demand on Canadian healthcare. So the good news is your HIV status is not a categorical disbarment from been given a visa. The bad news is you have to meet extra demands more than others. In addition to proving you can afford your studies and will come back to Nigeria, you have to also prove you have a credible plan and financial resources to foot the cost of your medical expenses and prescription drugs in Canada and that your health will not posse excessive demand on the Canadian health and social safety network. You will need to present to the VO a credible health plan in Canada on how you intend to take care of yourself financially. I suggest you get into immediate contact with health providers in Canada and buy insurance specific to your situation and submit with your application by emailing to Accra. Again, So sorry for your diagnosis. We thank God that HIV is no longer the epidemic it use to be and most HIV patients live normal lives with good medication.
Nice one.

Kudos to you @ jnyuwa02

Submitted: 23/6/17
Refused: 31/8/17
2nd app:
Submitted: 18/10/17
Refused: 15/11/17
Thanks to everyone, I finally picked up my passport, here is to correct the notion that I was being negative even before I submitted my 2nd application by asking if after tackling issue of funds which was the only reason for the first denial 'Lump sum deposit' as seen on the gcms note, I asked solely because I didn't put in for masters as I am a nurse and masters in nursing is not open to international nurses, so I opted for Pgc in nursing (Enhanced Nursing Practice), I gave my application another shot because I was initially refused based on just funds, picked up my refusal note now to see:
1. Purpose of visit
2. Travel history
3. Personal asset and financial status
4. Employment situation
Finances wasn't ticked this time, Safe to say, a different VO reviewed and saw my app as not justified for approval, it all balls down to the level/choice of course. This forum has sure made me stronger, this forum gave me hope to even put in for the 2nd application, not getting approved is devastating but please let the pain make you better and not bitter, thanks to everyone & I wish all applicants the best. Hi jnyuwa02, I have to equally create my own account to respond this moniker that came out of his shell to shade you. cc:ISK9

@jnyuwa02, I have been a fan of your post and every good posts on this thread because I was once a guru on this very thread and contributed within some periods. It is amazing that this moniker who quoted your post ''carry your matter for mind tey tey''. and it is equally stunning that his response generated 33 likes +.. It signals something to me about the followers of this thread.

I like you in one aspect @jnyuwa02, because you tell most people the blunt truth here while some don't want to hear such truths. In the past years I have waited to see the testimony of those who I told the truth that I don't see the likelihood of commencing their TRV application with PGD or partially unrelated programs as their complex case/profile appeared to me while some on this same thread will tell them to paint a good SOP bla bla.. I guess those people were refused cos if they weren't, the joy of approval would make them come on the this thread to show their selves and prove me wrong equally but I never saw their comments.

@jnyuwa02 contributes meaningfully to this thread and it is left for whoever as the recipient to sieve from his posts and from others too and do as he/she wishes because at the end na still thank-you you/una go tell am without giving him a dime for an effort he made towards your application(s).. @ISK9 why didn't you come out to contribute too since he seems combative to you?. I hate people like you, and if you are amidst the persons that hit the like buttons on his post, I guess you all should follow him to put you through your applications. @jnyuwa02, you would be surprised that this fellows here who hit the like button in support of his post will still PM you to proof read their SOPs, quote you for help or PM you for one help or the other.. people are 2FACED!!!!

Thank you @ facelessbeing for this post.
The same moniker got his or her trv here but never comment or help in this forum.

I hate his attitude. As for me his post is meaningless.

@jnyuwa02 God bless you for your time and contributions in this forum.

It will surely end in praise for all of us.

Nwebele:
Hello all,

I was denied canadian study visa twice this year and it was really disheartening. I got admission fro. Humber College to do a Diploma in Law Clerk. I actually wanted to do a PGD in Global Business Admin but they said i did not meet the requirements (I have an HND/Lower Credit in Secretarial Studies from the Polytechnic) I worked for a year after my Youth Service in 2002 and resigned in 2004 after marriage. My husband talked me into doint business. Finally, I ended up being a full time housewife in 2014 and since then, I have been feeling less relevant and wished I continued in the secular field. Now, I dont know how to go about fitting into the Nigerian working system, not that my cv is so enticing. I decided to tow the studying abroad lane to brush up myself.

I paid full tuition fees and submitted all documents including my husband's registered company where I am a director, copy of C of O, Sponsor Letter from Company, company statement of Account and joint personal accounts of my husband and I to show proof of funds. I filled that i have about 25k canadian dollars for my travel while the company wrote that they will sponsor me in subsewuent semesters .

First denial was for; insufficient financial resources to support my self and whoever accompanies me while sudying in canada and 2) Personal assets and financial status

I defered my admission and applied again. This time I had my own personal account with more than 23k dollars apart from school fees (company still undertaking to pay pocket money per semester), company account with 80k, I added my vehicle particulars and removed c of o. This time the only thing they ticked is Purpose of Visit

I dont know if it's theStatement of Purpose. I added it in my second application as adviced by a staff in VFS office but am not so sure it looks convincing as that was my first time of hearing about such document. Humber College refused to defer. They say I have to apply afresh through ontario colleges. I still have my eye on that canada thing (I hate the thought of failure). I called one travel consultand afterwards and he said i should give up. He said my age (40), my level of study chosen, my financial status all contributed. He said I should not bother reapplying.

Please dear all, do you think it is true? I should have applied for masters? Should I give up the dream as advised? Is there anything I should do to change my situation? Why did they write that i am free to rrapply if I can respond to these concerns and demonstrate that my situation meets the requirement? Please help a worried sister
Hello
Sorry for the delay.
I would advice you to look into Canada express entry thread. Never get up on your Canada dreams.

What about speed of processing?[ quote author=petlaz post=60553841]
Paper route is better than online route. Why..
1.application fee and biometric fee is cheaper compare to that of the online route.
2. You can submit alot of documents as many as you want.
3. During submission, your visa application documents will be preview at VAC office before submission.
4. The visa application documents is assigned to the VO at Accra, Ghana for processing immediately is dispatch at VAC office but in online route, it can be assigned and processed at different embassy across the world.

Paper route is faster than online route.

You can confirm it from Canada study permit thread.

Reason, "Purpose of visit", "I am not satisfied that your propose program is..."

My supervisor is willing to defer my program to next year fall.
I have already requested for my gcms notes.

Hello,
