CURRENT REALITIES
Dear All, There is no doubt, things are tough in Nigeria today. To enjoy a healthy living and survival, it takes the Grace of God. Times like this, we need God for absolute peace of mind to live in peace and happiness. Be satisfied with the little you have
Spend wisely and buy only what u really need to make you healthy.
Avoid Conflicts in any form, many people are angry, frustrated and ready to kill at any little provocation, patience is key, ignore trouble as much as possible, learn to say sorry.
Men should please control their anger, we know how hard it is to make ends meet, please don't take it down on family, let your home be a peaceful place. Don't Worry we will all smile again. Your own is better cos you have good health. Hundred of millionaires are receiving treatment abroad. Don't give yourself hypertension.
Women, endure with your husband. Don't complain. Show love. Be a good Mother, create fun to ease tension.
Our health should be very important, give it a priority. Eat moderately prepared healthy diet with varieties of fruits. Above all, thank God, you are not hospitalized. Have you forgotten, You are the richest man in Nigeria because you are healthy. Laugh!!! Nigeria will be great again.
Health is wealth!!!
Nothing in life lasts for life.
Remember to live before you leave. Don't spend your entire life making a living and forget to live.
There are only two ways to live, you're either living or just existing. A balanced life is the best life.
Whoever says you're irreplaceable is lying to you.
Life is like exam questions. If you are having a problem understanding one question move to the next. Don't get stuck in one chapter of your book of life.
Winners don't quit but they surely take breaks. Don't spend your entire life opening one door. If it refused to open forever means maybe it's not your door. The fact that a certain aspect of your life is not working as planned doesn't mean your whole life has to be on hold. Your time here is limited, spend it wisely. A wise hunter with just one bullet doesn't shoot anyhow.
If you can change it, change it. If you can't change it, stop worrying and complaining about it. Never give the management of your life to those who cannot manage their own life properly. To be spiritually fooled is to be spiritually foolish. Be careful when someone who cannot hear his own voice tells you he's hearing from GOD.
Happiness is a choice, not destiny. Happiness is not a destination, you must travel with it. A situation and a problem are two different things don't mix both.
Happiness is a present tense, not a future tense. You can delay your gratification but your happiness should never be postponed.
Always do your best but never ever forget to take a rest. Whoever refused to rest will eventually be laid to rest and people will tell him to REST IN PEACE.
START LIVING AND STOP EXISTING...!!!

Nig4Greatness: ..... There are some states that are just parasites that contribute virtually nothing except for taxes paid by citizens living in those states.3 states of California, New York and Texas contribute 45% of the entire nation GDP.and funny enough these states have very large population of immigrants whereas those claiming "son of the soil" contribute virtually nothing. Make no mistake about it,US is highly developed and without doubt the greatest and richest nation in the world but they built it.the country didn't just fall from heaven, look at China, turning their dense population into an asset, that's the point and I hope with little commitment and change in orientation,we can do it as well.it may take time but surely we will get there. 80% of our youth are migrating to another country for survival. Alot of people in Nigeria are doing fast and prayers for visa. My prayers this year is to secure my student visa to UK or Germany. You have achieved what you want to achieve in USA before coming back to so called your country Nigeria. If I achieve the same thing you achieved I will come back. I am very sure you will not encourage your children to school here. You will love them to go back to USA to enjoy free education, free health care, etc Please free us don't discourage people here. Thank you. |
Travel › Re: New Visa Rules To Work And Study In Germany by petlaz: 6:21pm On May 01, 2018 |
jovialmum: Germany is one of the countries in the European Union which allows citizens from other countries to live, work and study in Germany.
Tuition is free in all public Germany institutions no matter where you come from, a factor which attracts many foreign students from different nations to come and study in Germany. It is also one of the countries in Europe which allow the work-study program for foreign students. So many foreign students have the opportunity to make some bucks outside class from the work they do.
This article is intended for citizens from other countries who have already gained admission in one of the many universities in Germany and are planning to move to Germany as students. Depending on where you come from you will need to find out whether you need a student visa.
Most of the students are allowed to study in Germany and all they need is a residence permit. Be sure to apply for your Visa early enough if you need one because the process always takes some months to complete.
Find out whether you need a student’s Visa Students who are citizens from within the European Union who wishes to study in Germany do not require a student’s visa before they enter into Germany. These are students from Liechtenstein, Norway, Iceland, and Switzerland.
For students who come from Japan, USA, South Korea, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and Israel only need to obtain a residence permit after registering themselves at the local Resident’s Registration office and therefore do not need a student visa to study in Germany. One important thing they must note is to ensure they get registered within two weeks from the time they enter the German soil.
Students who come from the following countries who wish to study in Germany institutions only need a student visa whether they are planning to work in Germany after their graduation or before while they are still on course. The countries include the following: Brazil, San Marino, Honduras, Monaco,Taiwan and El Salvador. For their case, they, therefore, need to apply for the student’s visa while still in their home countries before coming to Germany.
For the students from the rest of the world whose, countries are not mentioned above who have gained admission in German institutions you need a student’s Visa to enter into German and later work in German. The successful candidates from these countries are required to apply for the visa before their entry into Germany. They can do this through a German Embassy or consulate found in their respective home countries.
The candidates are required to pay a student’s Visa application fees of US$65. Requirements for a student’s Visa applicationIt is advisable that whenever you have gained admission to one of the Germany’s institutions you should start processing your student’s visa immediately. This is because the process takes a few months for it to be completed. It is therefore recommended that a candidate starts off the process three months before the intended date of arrival in Germany.
The documents that a candidate basically need are as follows: 1. A valid passport
2. Two photographs
3. A letter that shows you have gained admission in an institution in Germany
4. A duly completed application form
5. Your original education certificates or transcripts
6.A German Language proficiency test certificate
7. Health insurance certificate
8. Proof of enough funds to support your living in Germany, usually US$8670 per year.
9. Declaration of the documents submitted by you to be all correct documents.
Some German embassies depending on the country where they are may require a candidate to provide documents showing no criminal records. Working as a student. Foreign students are allowed to work while studying in Germany because it is legal to do so. Even though the students are allowed to work, there are certain restrictions on the number of days they can work per year. A student is only allowed to work for 240 half days or 120 full days per year. For students who work as research assistants or student assistants within their universities are allowed to surpass the 120 full days limit. Those students who come from the European Union after without work permit can work up to 20 hours in a week. International students may seek to work in Germany after they complete their studies. Those with a residence permit can be allowed to work in Germany for a period of 18 months from the time they graduate from college. For the students who are from the EU, they are allowed to work without being restricted. In fact, they are allowed to work in their related fields of study for a period of two years after which they qualify to be registered as permanent residents.
