@ Nwaigbomg you dey vex ni Lol! You mentioned all those big names without adding the one and only "Genevieve Nnaji", The face of African Cinemas according to Toronto International Film Festival, TIFF.. She is known all over Africa and across the globe in the in the film/movie world. Any gathering of movie stars be it in Nigeria or the whole of Africa without Genevieve Nnaji, Rita Dominic #UmuAforMbaise #Umucountry5... And even Stephanie Linus (all from Imo State). then that gathering never start. |
Epositive:Lol! Brother! All is well o! Its just that many characters here makes me laugh like crazy. As a matter of fact when I am very angry I just come to Nairaland read posts and comments and laugh out my anger. Although some posts can be very annoying that I ask "Where is this one coming from?" "How does this person reason?" etc. Minus that, Nairaland is fun! I must confess! |
Good day Nairalanders! As we all know, in this very forum you learn a lot. Ranging from politics to entertainment, to sports, to Infact anything and everything. That to a great extent I know more about Nigerian and international politics and the world of entertainment can be attributed partially to Nairaland. All thanks to everybody here in this forum. Seun you are doing a great job but you still need to do more (that topic will be left for another day). So in this topic, I want us to mention all the celebrities that we have here in Nairaland. (1) Those whose names makes members to shiver for fear of being banned for life without bail or even with a bail that they can't fulfill hahahahhaahhaha!!! (2) Those who can't do without snake/cobra meat. And they are always like "Hmmmmm yummy!" whenever they see such topics. Hahahahahahaha! (3) Those whose monikers makes us laugh like crazy even without them saying anything. (4) Those who are just very annoying like you feel they can show their faces for you to slap the the hell outta their faces and beat them to stupor. (5) Those whose comments and posts are always about tribal and religious bigotry (very annoying I must confess!). (6) Those whose comments and posts are always funny! (7) Those whose reasoning are always one sided without having a feel of what others might want. ( Etc Hahahahahaha! The list will be endless! So for me I will only mention a few: (1) Lalasticlala: hahahahhahaa! The snake meat moderator, who won't even waste 10mins to push such topics to the front page! Lol! Everybody loves Lala! But why I like him is that he sends (good) topics to the front page faster. He is very proactive unlike other moderators who do unnecessary and nonsensical scrutiny. (2) Mynd44: Lol! All I can say is that this dude is just "Too Blunt" on his ideas and it can piss some people off. Mr. Moderator!I laugh a lot whenever I see that your seal of "This Post Has Been Closed" Hahahahahaa!!! Mynd44 you too dey do guy, before sending peoples topics to the front page unlike our wonderful Mr. Lala! Hahahahahahaaa! Everybody must not accept your political view! (3) Ipobexposed: Mehn! I don't just understand this dude. He has spent almost all his time on Nairaland posting nonsensical youtube videos attacking people who don't care even a bit about what he feels or what he has to say. Their is even a rumour (but later confirmed) that he said he will kill himself if Nnamdi Kanu is granted bail. To my greatest surprise this same dude created a video to say if Nnamdi Kanu kills himself first, then he can consider killing himself (Ipobexposed). What Mehn! I don't just understand this guy. Bro please, take a chill pill! Bro Nobody Cares! (4) Tonyebarcanista: I don't know if I spelt his name/moniker correctly though. He was once talking about attaining a Southern Peace and making the whole south one Strong Political Block. Lol! Bro! I must confess. That will take ages to happen...And that is, if it can ever work out with the kind of hate seen and felt everywhere now. You love your southsouth people so dearly. Thats cool! (5) Ngeneukwuenu: Hahahahahahahahaaa! Mehn! The first day I saw this moniker, I laughed sotee people around me thought I had run mad. The APC mama! Lol! Some people think you are a male, but I just think you are a Strong Political Woman. Keep it up madam! But please, help us tell your party (APC) that people are really suffering in this country. Tell them that they just need to do something real quick to really "Change" the situation of things. We need a "Real Change!" Not "Pre-election Change!". If you are really Igbo you will know that "Ala adighi nma!" at all at all!!! But everybody must not believe in your own type of politics please! (6) The "MyYorubaMuslimCrew": Hahahahaaa! I put these ones in one group because they make people laugh like crazy and the piss people off also. (7) Omenkalives/ Omenka: This Benue Man is also blunt. I can't say much about him but you guys can help us say what you know about him in this forum. ( Seun: The Oga kpata kpata! He doesn't talk too much but his body language just like the presidencies "body language" hahahahahaa! says a lot. Oga some people accuse you of partisanship, and I want to ask, is it true They ban people too much here for saying what they know and dropping their opinion of things, but they end up being banned like Foreign Rice and their posts being deleted like "a seen film in peoples phones". Oga! please, address these issues or we will create topics to talk it out. Lol! (9) Saraki: Hehehehehee! This Oga is always present in almost every thread. Often makes people who fight for FTC very angry because oftentimes, he creates a topic and comments first. Hahahahahahahaa!!! He pisses "MyYorubaMuslimCrew" off sotee they now tag him in all their comments. Lol! You guys can say more about this oga. (10) Add yours and tell us why they make you happy and angry. I can't remember others. Add! Add!! Add!!! For me, I observe a lot in this forum and I read a lot of comments. They say silence offen times is golden! Lalasticlala! Please do your usual! Hahahahahahahhaaaa!!! |
Bad moderators! They have deleted my post. Hahahahahahahahahahaa!!! Nigeria is in this pathetic state cos they don't like "TRUTH" even Igbo's say "Eziokwu bu ndu" meaning "Truth is Life". Keep deleting truth but "anaghi ekwuchi afo ime aka" meaning "u cannot cover pregnancy with ur hands". And I will say it again. "Mr. Senator! Your opinion is a one man opinion. You are just one amongst millions... walking out of this discussion creates more awareness. Your case is a case of wen a man makes too much money and thinks his opinion matters. You came their talking and thinking that everybody will just fall for u and what you want without knowing dat u are actually pouring water on granites/rocks thinking u can dissolve them. I know some people who before now if u say anything about leaving this union they will slap u with their two hands but they are now fanatics to the course. Mind u some of them ain't even from the southeast. Don't worry u and ur fellow political elites who think in d same way should keep walking out on important debates like dis by so doing u are helping make the course more popular until the result comes out 99.9% "YES WE WANT OUT!"." Ndi bee anyi ekelekwam unu o! |
Who is this OP misleading people with is kind of headline? Did you see any place she said Nnamdi Kanu will keep agitating for the "IGBO Nation?" She actually said Nnamdi Kanu will keep agitating for Biafra a.k.a Biafra Land!!! Please, stop saying what people didn't say... |

leksmedia:Like Seriously, Nollywood has really changed its now called the "New Nollywood". The Wedding Party is cool and is not the only wonderful Nollywood movie in that class. As it stands now, their are many nollywood movies even better than the wedding party the only thing here is that you can't see any of them just anywhere like we see all those "old nollywood" movies. If not for the fact that "The wedding party" licked somehow, many people wouldn't have seen the great improvements in the "New Nollywood". Had it been the movie "The wedding party" didn't lick and was only seen in cinemas just like other box office movies only a very few will know what has really changed in nollywood. The best nollywood movies this recent years are mainly shown in cinemas nationwide and also in international firm festivals like TIFF (Toronto International Firm Festival), etc. So, please, let's support our own. I know Nollywood really misses GEJ. Like Seriously! Nollywood has changed big time especially with the advent of actors/firm/firmmakers award platform like the AMVCA's. Everybody (actor, firm makers, etc) wanna do their best just to grab an AMVCA2017. Ups to The New Nollywood! |
jojomario:Really For raising very important questions and points which ought to be looked into Are you guys kidding me here... Like Seriously Odikwa Egwu n'ala Nigeria nke o!!! |
Although I am not siding anybody on this issue, but I just think this man actually gave them the correct response. Like Seriously, most of these so called reporters can ask silly questions for Africa. If na me, I go even give them worse answers (that's if I dey mood to even respond to their silly questions.) Nonsense!!! |
The only scandal free housemate! Love u plenty dear! You really rep'd our uni well! |
Confirm! |
One thing is sure, truth is like light, u can't cover it forever! Lalasticlala please, send this topic to the front page. You guys should be sending important topics like this to the front page and stop being too scared of the truth. Because only the truth can set u free. Don't kill topics like this here just like you people refused to send the 'Part 1' of the topic to the front page. Send this topic to the front page so that those people who love lying to themselves can see the truth as it glitters like diamonds!!! Please, 'Lala De Lalasticlala' do the needful! Thanks!!! I can see some space bookers (a.k.a. Land-Buyers) up there! Lol! No wahala |
Permit me to share a scholarly, revealing and I daresay disturbing intervention which was sent to me by a friend. The author wishes to remain anonymous. He wrote as follows: “The disruptive power of the Hausa-Fulani cabal is a structural reality and will only get worse, no matter where the President of Nigeria comes from. It is a seven-fold yoke which we must break for the sake of our children. 1. THE POLITICAL YOKE: Globally, out of the 16 Federal Republics in the world, Nigeria is the only federation where land mass is used as a primary criteria for creating federating units. NO Southern leader (civilian or military) has ever had the guts to create any federating unit; all the federating units have been created by Northern military adventurers. 20 federating units were created from only one region (North), while 17 federating units were created from 3 regions (East, West and Midwest). Competent leaders are easily filtered off by the rigged political structure. At every election, the evil and corrupt Northern cabal needs only a few Southern collaborators to impose any presidential candidate upon the two foremost political parties, only for the electorate to formalize one of the candidates with votes. That’s why Nigeria has been having such mediocre leaders as President, in a country awash with extremely capable presidential materials. This also explains why since 1960 no Southerner has ever led Nigeria except by accident. The FIRST coming of ALL 3 Southern leaders – Aguiyi-Ironsi in 1966, Obasanjo in 1976 and Goodluck Jonathan in 2010 – followed the death of Northern incumbents! The fourth and only other Southern leader was Ernest Shonekan and his coming followed the forced “stepping aside” of a northern Head of State in 1993. He lasted for 3 months after which he was toppled and replaced by another northern military Head of State. For 2019 the presidential contest is being set for Atiku vs Buhari- two Fulani representatives of the Cabal. 2. THE ECONOMIC YOKE: Nigeria is the only oil-producing country where oil wells are allocated to individuals. The Hausa-Fulani cabal allocated over 80% of the oil blocks either to the Northerners or to their Southern fronts/allies. The names of these oil block allotees are in the public domain. 3. THE RELIGIOUS YOKE: No other faith is mentioned in the Nigerian Constitution, except Islam. For instance, in the 1999 Constitution, Christ, Christians and Christianity are not mentioned even once; whereas Islamic signposts are strewn all over the Constitution – Sharia is mentioned 73 times, Grand Khadi 54 times, Islam 28 times , Muslims 10 times, etc.. That Constitution was written SOLELY by one Muslim Fulani Jihadist named Prof. Auwalu Yadudu (Special Adviser to Abacha on Constitutional Matters). While the 1979 Constitution emphasized Nigeria’s secularity, the 1999 Constitution of Yadudu is a de facto Islamic Constitution, and the Cabal ensured that Yadudu was there to fight that position at 2014 National Political Conference. Subsequently, during Obasanjo’s govt, the same Northern cabal formally adopted Islam as the State Religion in the core Northern States. Obasanjo refused to even discuss the issue, except to state that it would ‘fizzle out’. He knew fully well that it would not ‘fizzle out’ but was afraid of confronting the cabal. 4. THE CULTURAL YOKE: The Sultanate forms a major pillar of the Hausa-Fulani cabal. As permanent President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council of Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) the Sultan is the permanent leader of all Muslims in Nigeria (whether they are Northerners or Southerners). As the Permanent Chairman of National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria (NCTRN) the Sultan is the permanent leader of all traditional rulers in all 36 States of Nigeria & Abuja. By the way, the current Sultan was the Brigadier-General Commanding 241 Recce Battalion Kaduna. Many public policies are determined only with the tacit approval of the Sultanate of Sokoto and the Emirates. For instance, when the Gender Bill was introduced in the National Assembly, the Sultan ‘killed’ the Bill simply by criticizing it publicly. Even Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II (the world’s most revered monarch) would never criticize Parliament publicly, because that would be an abuse of royal privilege. 5. THE ADMINISTRATIVE YOKE: Nigeria is the only African country that built a new capital from scratch (using resources from the oppressed, deprived and degraded Niger Delta/South East ). The Cabal claimed that the location of Lagos by the ocean was a security risk, but this was just an excuse to Northernize national public service. A careful look at the map of Africa shows that only 2 nations have central capitals. The most common location for African capitals is at the coast. London (United Kingdom) is situated at the edge of England on the River Thames. Washington DC (USA) is located along the Potomac River on the East Coast of USA. Paris (France) is located at the edge of France in the north-bending arc of the river Seine. When Lagos was capital the Governors of Lagos State were from East, West and North. Since the Capital moved to Abuja, NO Nigerian leader has ever had the guts to appoint a Southerner as substantive FCT Minister. The FCT Minister must be a Northerner, preferably a Muslim (the current FCT Minister was appointed while he was Executive Secretary of the Hajj Commission). 6. THE DIPLOMATIC YOKE: Any Christian leader who questions Nigeria’s membership of the two main international Sharia-driven bodies (OIC & D- faces the wrath of the Hausa-Fulani Cabal. So far, only Cdr Ebitu Ukiwe has ever had the guts to seriously question Nigeria’s involvement in these Islamic bodies and as a result Ukiwe was summarily dismissed from office.7. THE MILITARY/SECURITY YOKE: Nigeria is the only Federation in the world where all MAJOR security agencies are headed by only one section of the Federation and only members of one faith. Army – Northern Muslim. National Security Advisor – Northern Muslim. Minister of Defence – Northern Muslim. Minister of Internal Affairs- Northern Muslim. Airforce – Northern Muslim. Police – Northern Muslim. Economic Financial Crimes Commission- Northern Muslim. National Civil Defence Corps – Northern Muslim. Department of State Security – Northern Muslim. Immigration– Northern Muslim. Prisons Service– Northern Muslim. Federal Road Safety Corps – Northern Muslim. Nigerian Customs Service – Northern Muslim. Chief of Defence Intelligence – Northern Muslim. Director of Military Intelligence – Northern Muslim. Fire Service – Northern Muslim. National Emergency Management Agency – Northern Muslim. Nigerian Ports Authority- Northern Muslim. No southerner has been made substantive Comptroller General of Customs in 30 years. Even with all his braggadocio, Olusegun Obasanjo dared not break the jinx in all this years as Nigeria’s President. Again no southerner has ever been appointed as the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission since the day it was established in 2003. Finally the only southerner that was EVER appointed National Security Advisor was killed after he was unceremoniously removed from office by Goodluck Jonathan after the cabal blackmailed and arm-twisted him and told him that if he wanted peace he must appoint a northerner back to that post. The above multi-faceted enslavement to the Hausa-Fulani Cabal is not an accident. Read the book by Harold Wilson which clearly states how and why the British laid the foundation for the Hausa-Fulani hegemony in Nigeria. The principle guiding the Cabal was clearly set forth by the cabal’s patron saint, Sir Ahmadu Bello who said to the media: “The new nation called Nigeria should be an estate of our great grandfather Othman Dan Fodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power. We use the minorities in the north as willing tools and the south as a conquered territory and NEVER ALLOW THEM TO RULE OVER US and NEVER ALLOW THEM TO HAVE CONTROL OVER THEIR OWN FUTURE.” – (The Parrot Newspaper, October 12, 1960). Freedom from the Cabal is NOT about “North versus South”. In fact, the greatest victims of the Northern cabal are the Northern masses themselves. The struggle entails “Northern Cabal versus All of Lovers of Freedom”. Nigeria is structurally unworkable and MUST EITHER BE RESTRUCTURED OR BROKEN. The Hausa-Fulani cabal will resist this with their blood, but there is no other way out of the enslavement for us and our children. We cannot continue ‘suffering and smiling’ in this un-restructured zoo called Nigeria. The words of Harriet Tubman are relevant here. She said, ‘I freed a thousand slaves: I could have freed a thousand more if only they knew they were slaves’ “. The author of this brilliant intervention has given us plenty of food for thought. He argued the matter in a detailed, succinct and concise manner and he stated the case very well. Though there were one or two omissions, his research is outstanding and his analysis is factual, insightful and incisive. The truth is that he has said it all. Sadly many in Nigeria do not know that they are slaves to the cabal because they cannot feel the yoke or see their chains. Yet slaves they are and it is time that we opened their eyes, broke their yokes, cut their chains and freed each and every one of them. That is precisely why yours truly, and millions of others, insist on restructuring our country or, failing that, dividing her and going our separate ways. May God deliver us. Happy Easter. The march of the ethnic nationalists and a friendly warning for the British and French ambassadors (1) In 1941 during the course of the Second World War, the most famous alumna of my old school Harrow and the Prime Minister of Great Britain, Sir Winston Churchill, said the following words to General Bernard Montgomery, who was also known as the “Spartan General”, the hero of the Battle of Alamein, the Commander of the famous British Desert Rats and the Field Marshall of the British Armed Forces. He said, “Monty, never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never—in nothing, great or small, large or petty—never give in, except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never yield to force. Never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the enemy”. These are powerful and inspiring words from one of the greatest leaders that the world has ever known. Today I share those words and sentiments with every Nigerian who yearns for freedom from the bondage of ethnic slavery and religious bigotry and who believes that the only way forward is to restructure or redefine Nigeria. Those of us that have these noble aspirations will “never yield to force” and we will “never yield to the apparantly overwhelming might of the enemy”. Like Shakespeare’s Macbeth we shall be “bold, bloody and resolute” and if necessary we shall “fight until the flesh be hacked from our bones”. No matter what comes our way we shall be encouraged, we shall walk tall, we shall stand firm and we shall stand strong. This is because our cause is just and even though our enemies may have today, we know that tomorrow belongs to us. Again even though the night may be dark, we know that joy comes in the morning! Whatever the powers that be in Empire Nigeria throw our way we shall not bow and we shall not be cowed. Like our Lord and Saviour and Commander in Chief, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Son of the Living God once did on the cross two thousand years aģo, for the glory that lies ahead, we shall take their taunts and insults, bear their horrendous persecution, endure their malevolence and wickedness and despise the shame. We shall stand our ground, hold our heads up high, fight a good fight and, by the grace of the Living God, in the end, we shall prevail. We draw strength from the fact that we are not alone in this struggle. Others that have also suffered injustice and the most brutal form of subjugation and repression from their oppressors have similar hopes and aspirations as ours. Consider the nation of Scotland. Her people are yearning to have another referendum on whether or not to leave the United Kingdom in 2018. When Nicola Sturgeon, the leader of the Scottish Nationalist Party, announced their intention I did not hear Theresa May, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, throw insults and threats at her or accuse her of treason. I did not hear the French government or the French Ambassador to the UK telling the Scots that they would never be allowed to have their way and that they should perish the thought of Scottish independence. Yet when it comes to the affairs of Nigeria it appears that everyone feels that they can tell us what to do. For example Denys Gauer, the French Ambassador to Nigeria, recently said that those that were agitating for Biafra were indulging in an exercise in futility and that they would never achieve their dream or ambition. What a sad testimony and sorry tale this is. It appears that the man knows little about the deep resolve of those who are fighting for their freedom and frankly he needs to learn a thing or two about the history of his own country before he pontificates to us about ours. His unsolicited counsel is both misguided and inappropiate and we completely reject it. The French people, since the days of the Great Revolution of 1789 and bold leaders and reformere like Maximilien Robespierre, Jean-Paul Marat and years later, the greatest of them all, Napolean Bonaparte, have always prided themselves on being the friends of the subjugated and the deprived. They have always been the champions of liberty and freedom. They have always resisted oppression and tyranny. They must not stop now. To make matters worse Paul Arkwright, the British Ambassador to Nigeria, threw his hat into the ring as well and said that the United Kingdom “would not allow” Nigeria to break up. Such ill-conceived pomposity, self-serving clap trap and what the great writer and historian David Icke describes as the “arrogance of ignorance” has no place in the post-colonial world. Simply put Arkwright, and all other “Englanders” that think like him, ought to remind himself that Nigeria is no longer a British colony. In any case given the consequences of Brexit and the strong agitation for Scottish, Welsh and even Northern Irish independence it appears to me that the British Ambassador would do better by trying to ensure that the United Kingdom itself remains together rather than attempt to tell us what we “will be” or “not be” allowed to do in Nigeria. He would also do well to remember that the days of “Rule Brittania” are long over, that the “Great” has been taken out of “Britain” and that the evil amalglamation and unworkable contraption that his forefathers forced on us in 1914 is fast unravelling as a consequence of the hideous atrocities, sheer cruelty and sociopathic meglomania of those that they imposed on us as our internal colonial masters. The bottom line is that the destiny of this nation will be determined by the people of Nigeria and no-one else. Whether the Ambassador of France, the Ambassador of the United Kingdom or anyone else likes it or not the world is fast changing. The philosophy, ethos and culture of ethnic nationalism is gaining ground and pride of place. Nothing terrifies the hegemonists, the internal colonial masters and the ‘born to rule’ conquerors in Nigeria more than this because Yoruba, Igbo and Ijaw nationalism coupled with the quest for southern and Middle Belt emancipation is their worse nightmare. The glorious march of ethnic nationalism, the desire to break the yoke of internal colonialism, slavery and bondage, the agitation for self-determination and the quest for a fundamental restructuring of Nigeria or, failing that, the establishment of new and independent nation states to replace her is at an all-time high. And so is the determination of the various ethnic groups and nationalities to resist oppression, subjugation and tyranny and defend and protect the interests of their people. If anyone doubts that they should speak with the Oodua Peoples Congress (OPC), the Oodua Liberation Movement (OLM), the Oodua Nationalist Coalition(ONAC), the Movement For The Actualisation Of The Sovereign State Of Biafa (MASSOB), the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), the Ijaw Youth Congress (IYC), the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta (MEND), the Middle Belt Youth Forum (MBYF), the Southern Kaduna People’s Union (SOKAPU), the Ombatse Militia Group (OMG), the Tiv Cultural and Development Association (TCDA), the Berom Militias, the Tiv Militias, the Zaar militias, the Jukun militias, the Ngas Militias, the Nigerian Christian Falange (NCF), the Sons of Gideon (SG) and numerous other groups that are not only well-motivated, well- organised and well-equipped but also highly focused and committed to their cause and ready to defend the interests of their people no matter the price that may have to be paid. I sincerely hope and pray that it never happens because I deplore violence and I am a man if peace but if push ever comes to shove and there is a showdown, the Nigerian Armed Forces and security agencies, the Fulani militias and herdsmen and Boko Haram will have a very hard time containing the fury and power of any or all of these groups. I say this because it is not the size of the dog in the fight that counts but rather the size of the fight in the dog! (TO BE CONTINUED).
