Hello nairalanders.. i wont bother you with too much epistle.. i have a friend of mine who came for advice to me and i felt you guys can help me shed some light on the matter.. My friend is a basist who has been playing and acting as a music director for the past 11 years without collecting a dime in a church.. last year he went into some problems and needed about 180k urgently to sort out his schooling issues.. he missed church for 2 weeks to hustle some money and his name was removed from the ordination list and he was alienated from the church without any sort of help rendered.. he still returned, begged and continued steadfastly till 3 weeks ago when his house rent expired and his mother fell sick.. he met the general overseer again and asked for help not even for the rent but assistance to collect his medical license so he can at least source for a housemamship slot The general overseer said there was no money as he was going for his mothers burial and that the church wanted to buy a land of over 3 million naira in the east where there is no single member but he would talk to some people Following sunday he was told that so many stories were told about him (the basist) and that before anything will be done for him they have to hear from the mother. He made up his mind to go and play outside for some cash at least for now till he can raise the money for the license and probably get a good job He doesnt know if he's on the right path and the g.o has been using him to preach ever since making statements like money is not everything, stopp being proud with your talent etc.. Whats your take please?? Should he leave or stay? P.S: he was inducted into the medical profession in February and has not been able to collect his license because of the seemingly unmountable challenges of his mums health and a loan she took sometime ago. Please urgent advice needed. Thanks |

GENERAL YAKUBU GOWON'S ADVISE TO BUHARI... "There was corruption in Nigeria when Awolowo built Cocoa House, TV station and the first university in Africa There was corruption in Nigeria when IBB built Third Mainland Bridge, built Aso Rock, National Assembly Complex, turned Abuja into our Federal capital territory. There was corruption in Nigeria when Obasanjo brought Gsm, banking reform, police reform, civil defence, There was corruption in Nigeria when Jonathan introduced BVN and PVC, built 12 new federal universities, revamped railway lines, made Our economy fastest growing in Africa & third in the world. If anyone tells you the reason Buhari is not working is that he inherited corruption, tell them great leaders don't blame people and events for their failures. They simply accept responsibility and move on. Ask them, what has Buhari done after all the fake promise of fixing power in 6wks, reducing pump price to #45 naira, making N1 equal to a $ 1, stopping Boko Haram etc. It's a shame. The inferno truth is, corruption started from heaven when Satan violated a privilege given him. That never stop God's works. He waited for God to create man and brought his lawlessness and corruption into the garden of Eden. God wasn't moved. He introduced a redemption plan; The Savior was born, sadly, Judas Iscariot was there. Not discouraged yet, He gave us God the Holy Spirit. If anyone tells you the reason Buhari is not working is that he inherited corruption, tell them corruption is rooted in the DNA of homo sapiens ( Latin: wise man ) because we are just mere mortal infected with a virus of good & evil. Yet, great leaders don't blame people and events for their failures. They simply accept responsibility and move on." *copied from facebook* Mynd44, lalasticlala what do u think?. |

Here to read comments.... But I have to say dude the (legal) formula u used in turning from utter poverty two years ago to a level where u can now flaunt cash in hundreds of thousands of dollars, in the united states-of-making-life-hard-for-people-america, I would love to know... Other than that, I think everybody should get a grip... Especially the two people in the unecessary battle of ego, wit and class.. Khia.. be the pretty Yankee chick that u r and leave all this back and forth... Enjoy the indirect toasting nairaland has to offer Lucas or prince.. if truly u r a big boy then there's no need to argue, paste, or worry about what people say.. live your life and enjoy ur money Last last, awon beggars of nairaland... Get a grip.. work hard, develop yourself and pray. God will do it for u... Happy Sunday from apapa, Lagos state ![]() |
Forget this patriarchy nonsense. Imagine how smooth your life would be if you had someone as successful as Linda Ikeji as a wife. While you're funding something in the family, she's funding another. And on other days, both of you are doing collabo with relative ease. Add that to love, an unwavering sense of marital commitment and a regular dose of downstairs synchronization. Talk true, life no go sweet you? Your skin no go fresh by force? Anyway, it's the unambitious spinsters I pity most, those ones who believe it's wrong for a woman to complement the efforts of a hardworking spouse by lending financial support. You people are jonzing. Jungle yaff mature tey tey. The bachelors of today are now wiser, so no go do mistake think am. E go do una like Jet Li film trick. "Honey, I just got you a Rolex." "My darling husband, I know you've had stressful week so I booked you for a full massage session at a luxury spa." "My love, I asked the maid not to cook anything tonight. I want to treat you to an exclusive dinner at Four Points by Sheraton." That, right up there is what we young bachelors want for ourselves so that we can live long. So, please, if you no get money ......... Source: adesegun damazio on fb Lalasticlala... What say you? |
