Look, let me tell you something...there has been threads opened on this subject and many inputs given but not a single thread has been opened by any Ibo to even address the victim, Faith. Not a single thread!
When this news first broke there were denials and dodges and shifting of blame. Some Ibo even blamed the girl. Tochukwu didnt just kill the girl, he started to cannibalize her while alive...thats torture. Where's Ibo's sense of respect for others? ....but you want to be respected. So all Igbos are guilty for what Tochukwu has done. ?? Are all Ijaws guilty for what Tompolo has done??/// |

Her husband tore the cheque and he had problems wit Ifeanyi . Don't know if they av settled since then . And you know all these just by being a neighbour ?? |

Below is what the Willinks commission said about Port Harcourt in 1958.
""""""The former Rivers Division also includes over 300,000 Ibos of whom 250,000 are in Ahoada Division and 45,000 in Port Harcourt. Port Harcourt is a town of recent growth and of rapidly increasing importance; it is built on land that bëlonged originally to an outlying branch of the Ibo tribe, the Diobus, but is largely inhabited by the Ibos from the interior who have come to trade or seek employment….Of the total 747,000 in the Rivers province, 305,000 are Ibos, 240,000 are Ijaws and 156,000 are Ogonis.”"""" |

I don't want to discuss with you on this because it may degenerate into insults and abuses and the whole purpose will be lost. I have seen that Tonye has an erudite touch is his discussions and I feel the public can learn from him hence my question. Personally I may have one or two lines to add. I just want a clean and scholarly discussion. |
