Is it possible to arrive UK on the expiry date on the vignette...if yes, can I still pick up BRP after the expiry date on vignette.

Vignette is valid till 15th of September. Due to an important issue I plan leaving Nigeria on the 14th September to arrive UK on the 15th September.
Will I be allowed entry at POE and can I still pick BRP after vignette validity while already in the Uk.?

Pls anyone with idea on this..

travelling with child, you should choose shorter travel time which is the Turkish.. children have low thresholds to stress etc especially for one less than 2 years

Turkish has a lesser stop over time (2hr 5mins), but longer total travel time(13hrs 15mins) while British stop over time is 3hr 30mins with lesser travel time of 11hr

Go with BA if you can afford it.

Was told Turkish planes are spacious than BA planes ( Don't know how true).
Also the cheapest BA ticket has a 3hr 30mins stop over time as compared to Turkish with 2hrs 5 mins.

And it depends on the ECO, they might be happy with just the CV or will need more and send an NSF

2. You might want to consider flying through England first to avoid transit visa, the ones I looked at seems to be going through France and you might need one pending on the airpor

What type of service did he select at TLS? Because for self-service, statement should be uploaded online before the interview.

I am not so sure though. Wait for others' opinions...

He will hv to pay about 11k for Assisted service to upload it at Tls during biometric

Pictures

All documents addressed to our resident of abode and spread over our last 2 years together

This can be possible with lots and lots of proof. The best would have been to do a court marriage.

Not the best if u r not ready to get Married now...
Alot of people adviced I get married as unmarried partner (dependant) is very difficult but I made up my mind it will work.
I applied as an unmarried dependant..
Biometric was on the 23rd of May
Collection mail and sms on the 24th of June
Picked up on the 27th of June
Visa approved

I am anxious now....Did biometrics for 2 dependants on the 23rd May. Forgot to upload the consent for POF ( from my personal account and a joint account of i and MA) of fund for my child. Thought the home office consent form signed covers for it...
Anyone with idea on this.

I didnt submit a consent letter for proof of fund for my daughter. We both applied as dependant to the MA already in UK. I submitted my personal account statement and joint account statement owned by i and MA.
Is this something to be worried about?

VISA ALERT!!!

Application 2nd May
Biometric 5th May (3 child dependents TLS Abuja)
Transferred and received by DMC 5th May
NSF email for 2 dependants requesting for POF consent 24th May
Decision mail for applicant without NSF mail 9th June
Decision mail for the remaining applicants 16th June.

Seems Child visa is more stressful as they try to protect the children against possible trafficking and avoid litigations.

It is not easy waiting for visa. The tension and the anxiety but we thank God for everything.
