cr7lomo:Spot on. Comment of the day! It's really worrisome that people hardly take losses in good faith. Instead, we look for who to blame. The shots stats of 15:2 tells a lot. Will referees get every call right? No. But, this match officiating does not rise to the level of bias. In fact, Morocco outplayed us in virtually every department and I'll say it would have been unfair if they'd lost, given the strength of their play. |
obedience4:Spot on. People have taken on this rhetoric that the Talibans defeated America in Afghanistan, a big divorce from the reality. America sacked the Taliban in days/weeks. And for 20 years, a whole 20 years, held sway. Only after they decided to leave did the Taliban crawl out from hiding. During this time, Bin Laden was also in hiding and was eventually killed. And yet, folks device their own narrative, amplified in their echo chambers, that America was defeated. Smh. |
orogo:Excellent both in content and style. Thanks a lot for this. Compliments of the season. |

Anikulapu:Yes, I think you should include the certificates with the WES. Also the affidavit. An LoE will also help. Better safe than sorry. Not sure of the format. The above are just my layman's thoughts. Let's wait for the gurus in the house. |
Congrats Ifeoma. May all your wishes come true as you continue your journey... |
GlitteringStar:Chai. Was staring at me all along. I went straight to the "All about Proof of Funds" link. Didn't realise this was further down. My bad. Thanks. |
GlitteringStar:Yes, it must be the same "page 0". Every question ever asked is answered there! If you knew me in person, you'd realise that I'm more inclined at helping myself than being of the slightest bother to anyone, much less so one with attitude. Not sure there's much value in proving that I did check "page 0". In any case, I now know to avoid bothering this group with any question - it must be on page 0! I should be content to only read comments or answer questions if/where I can. Cheers. |
ArcUgo:Thanks a lot. Much appreciated. I'd have to improve my search skills. Did check page 0 but didn't see what I wanted in the link on "All About POF". Many thanks. |
ArcUgo:Can't find letter on page 0. I'm referring to letter from PFA. |
Good morning all, I read somewhere in the thread that pensions acct statement from a PFA can be used as POF, in which case a letter is also needed from the PFA stating that one will have access to 25% of the funds upon retirement, loss of employment or similar situations. Please advise the office to which this letter should be addressed. The PFA wants specifics, not a "To Whom It May Concern" Can I also see a sample letter? |
bepop:If you are not already doing so, consider listening to audio books to improve comprehension. Try Audible app. You'll also need to get enough sleep and relax. Given that you have only 9 days, you can only do your best and allow other things to sort themselves. All the best. |
Congrats Rebarobyn |
luffyhaki:Thanks. Actually, the consultant already accepted the PNP - we expect to receive upcoming ITA. The other profile is yet to be created. IELTS is pending. I need to know that there's no prohibition on having "duplicate" accounts as these. |
luffyhaki:Thanks. The plan is to discontinue with one eventually. |
cochtrane:Thanks for response. The one with the lower score has PNP and so got additional 600 points but restricted on province. The other profile has a higher score without PNP, and has a fair chance of ITA without provincial restrictions. |
Good morning all. Fantastic work going on here. The communal spirit is charming. I need advice please. Is it allowed for a family to have two applications in the EE pool, one with husband as primary applicant (PA) and the other with wife as PA? Both with each other as accompanying party. Thanks. |
Dee235: Yes the refinery fire was on for a week and half. I stay close to the place.I had to chk ur profile and as suspected u registered just today in order to post this. My guess is u r d OP just trying to perpetuate falsehood in a very disgusting and shameless manner. |
Pidzo:because pele is a punk, no more than a senile old man eaten up by fear and anxiety that anoda legend is about to dethrone him as the best futbola Eva. |
Gunnaz007:I'm also an arsenal fan outside of Barca. Guess it's got to do with my affinity with attacking beautiful football which both teams espouse. |
@gunnaz007, u need only read my earlier comment which u quoted to confirm that I did not say arsenal "came into the game not because of their determination, but because of barca's complacence." What i said is: I still give it to arsenal- a good comeback, but one which derives not entirely from their determination but also because barcelona became complacent. They are not the same. The latter is my opinion that it will be fair and objective that word again to say that a team which played well for 70 out of 90mins (almost 80% of the time from the start!) took their feet off the gas pedal, perhaps in the mistaken belief that they had sealed victory. Arsenal proved them wrong though by stepping up their game as well. In any case, there's mutual respect. Both teams play beautiful. See u at the nou camp. Fabregas is out for the rest of the season. Wish speedy and full recovery. |
Gunnaz007:the difference btw me and you seems to border on objectivity in analysis. U conveniently ignored the part in my comment where i said ", i still give it to arsenal - a good comeback!" U really expected me to say that being played 30-70 percentage possession in 70 out of 90 mins with shots/on target stats of 13/6 compared to your 1/0 are more due to arsenal's lapses than barca's efforts? in the emirates stadium no less? Guy, be real! I won't take it away from Arsenal, they played well with determination and courage, in the last 20mins so much so that it won't be far-fetched to say that they coulda won if the game wore on beyond full time. That's if. A big if at that - changing the rules of the game. But i repeat, arsenal were outclassed for those early 70mins. Your performance in that game, for only 20 out of 90 mins, isn't such as should elicit such manic jubilation as u show here, at least from my standpoint. You will do well to ask urself - how would i have seen Arsenal's performance if i were a barca fan. I for one can confidently tell you that i won't have the presence of mind for manic exaltation had i been an arsenal fan or had barca played as arsenal did last nite. Don't just think about it. Do so objectively. |
Meldrick:i concur. commendable determination from arsenal. they sure will have to work harder in the return leg. For Barca, they will have to avoid overconfidence and complacence, if only to not give arsenal fans cause for obscene rantings. |
in the past i used to dismiss as "one of those things" insinuations that arsenal fans are generally full of shit when it comes to football analysis. The foregoing posts just made me rethink. I've seen the light. their subjective views are sickening, to say the least! You would think, going by their rantings, that they just whooped Barca 5-0 at the nou camp! Imagine peeps coming here to celebrate a 2-2 draw, in the emirates no less, like it was a 0-4 scoreline at the camp nou. Classless, to say the least. I agree entirely with the dude who said there's cause for optimism but not really for celebration. That's more objective. Definitely not the vulgar and shameless revelry going on here. Arsenal were outclassed for 70 full minutes! that's not exactly something to be proud of. I still give it to arsenal- a good comeback, but one which derives not entirely from their determination but also because barcelona became complacent in the final 20mins, aside from the controversial penalty/red card call. |
AlfaPrime:AlfaPrime, you just got it there. There definitely are many places in Nigeria that compare well with any part of the world. Well, whatever (or wherever) makes one happy! Congrats Kuwena!!! Good Morning all. |
Good morning all, |

kenosky:the reminder was good. the problem is that the thread has been moving too fast for me to follow. I often feel inadequate posting when i'm yet to read through all the posts. Even the time to skim is hard to come by. What with all the lengthy but fine posts making the rounds. Fortunately Kuwena's own just got my attention so much that i had to post. It got me reeling and almost bursting with laughter just trying to imagine the expresssion that will be on his face while sitting before his computer and posting that! Kuwena is the bomb! |
hello people. kudos to you all. kenosky:kuwena's post definitely got me laughing uncontrollably. I'm still doing so. I kind of like this guy's way sometimes.
