Pedestrains trecked home as every available Okada was already occupied.

Lagosians generally now how to live it up!!!!!!!

The Val craze continued on Saturday till Sunday evening, depending on where you went to and the crew you moved with
Nigerians sabi spend money; yet we claim we are living below the poverty belt.
Joints were alive and if you owned an eatery and could provide a little comfort, you literally made fortunes.
That is, if you do not run out of stock and space.
Opoks! had a few fun _{and a few let-downs}
Had a few activities to burn my time with.

Right now, the craze don die, people are back to work.

Stupid guys must have gone broke
And stupid girls must have given their bodies for free.

And the eateries, the gift shops and the entertainment industry would have gained most from what I term 'Commercial Valentine '

For sure, I know that Calabar is often like a carnival during this period, judging from my experience there.

really felt for u when u were disappointed by NLNG, but only for a while! I got consoled by the fact that u seemed to be getting over it, albeit in a peculiar way, until this last post of urs which, especially with the free use of diatribes, was to say the least an anticlimax!!

Obviously i like to steer clear of tantrums although i confess i get some kicks out of healthy disputes especially from the sidelines. Undeniably u have a unique way of generating such an upsurge in posts here that this thread still owes a lot to you for being alive up till now. [size=30pt]For this i say a big WELLDONE![/size]

But will u keep us entertained at your own expense? With ur use of such words as "Okpoko," "fool" and "go and die" u easily come across as losing it. No offense meant here but u begin to take this whole thing to an unhealthy dimension with such words. Some may say it's childish but i'm beginning to fear it's psychological/psychiatric.

Personally i think u r handsome 'cos it has to be for u to have this fixation on ur looks but ur aspersion cast at NLNG having refused u for ur physical looks borders on the absurd!


If u meant that u were probably better qualified than other peeps who were called by NLNG then that sure smacks of arrogance and in fact negates the earlier impression that u had gotten over the disappointment that was NLNG. Please much as we, or better still I, would like this flame of excitement to keep burning, it wouldn't be worth the fun if it is built on name-calling, nudslinging etc.

can't help but wonder how posters cope with the array and diversity of responses on this thread . the way i see it, for 99.9% of the time, a poster posts about a problem and then hopes to find a solution in the replies but alas, he/she gets innundated with replies as numerous as they r diverse so much so that he then has two problems- the original one and then the problem of having to choose which of the advices will be in his/her interest and which to discard. Wot a world!

glad to see u back! i think u will make a good writer . from what i gather u av at least two options, the first being your master's degree and the second being writing. I figure the master's is the for the immediate and writing is for the long term. thats supercool! Wish u the best. One other important thing which you must have read in all the motivational books u av is to work on your emotions.

u need to work on your ability to accept the vicissitudes of life and take them in stride. In that way u won't get so upset as to renounce a religion u practised for 27 years simply because the all-too-often disappointment came.

All in all, i must say congrats on ur better state of mind while wishing u joy, fulfillment and stability now and always.
