Hello everyone,
I came to say thank you to you all even though I didn't get direct information when I asked for one but reading the thread from the beginning really helped me to navigate through my journey to Canada, its been blissful though spending my hard earned money but its all worth it, I only came to say thank you and to say if anyone is in Ontario and considering using the Brampton Civic hospital you can reach out to me to connect you to my doctor, he has been so good so far, I will come to share my journey and experience after delivery.

My wife application have been approved since May 18th, 2023 . But was pending till they finalized mine. I knew this through MP and CBSA

Passport Submitted at VFS Abuja in Person- 20th September ,2023. Pick up 21st September, 2023. Only Mine was ready for pickup

Pick up for my wife and child today 22nd September, 2023. ( Authorization letter from my wife and my child's birth certificate.

Good morning All. Just got my gcms notes. I was the one that I was told to submit police certificate in Nigeria and in the united states. Which have done . The gcms note is for me and my wife. Kindly find attached. Our son application will depend on us so I didnt request for his own. The first two attachment is for me and and the last two is for my wife. Please what do we expect. Also I called the MP before the gcms came out and they also said eligibility and criminality passed which is what I saw on the gcms note. The police certificate have been received since june and nothing again till this moment.

A month, you’ll be sent a consent form to fill. You can’t pay with naira card.

Ders also a free platform.

- Go to Google, search ATIP
- Pick the first option from the list of results
- when the page opens, click on next
- click/mark the privacy box and click continue
- on the next page, select Canada Border Services Agency from the drop-down
- from the next drop-down, select foreign national outside of Canada
- fill out your required information in the boxes below
(Use your Nigerian address and phone number pls)
- Pick yes to the question about requesting information on your behalf if so
- pick member of the public for the category that best describes you
- Pick electronic copy for how you prefer to receive your notes/records
- click continue
- on the next page, pick privacy act on the 1st drop-down
- select English in the next drop-down
- select case files for the type of records
- fill out all necessary information below(for UCI number, use the format XX-XXXX-XXXX)
- in the comment box write a short intro and your request. Eg:
Hello/Hi
My name is SURNAME, First Second. I have applied for a study permit, my UCI is soso and my application number is soso, DOB. I would like to have the notes for my file
- then click continue
- also click continue on the next page(you don't fill anything here)
- you are taken to the final page where you review or edit your info
- check the I certify box and click continue
- you should receive a confirmation email from CBSA

I was not requested to pay for my CBSA notes and I got my notes in 25days, but I think the window is till 30days.

I did the ATIP like almost two months they didnt send me any message I was following your contributions then . And i followed the steps but they didnt send me any result till date.

Thank you. How long does Cbsa takes, and also do you sign any consent form when you ordered yours, also can I use a Nigeria card. Because the one I saw is gcms notee from ircc, cbsa, gcms note both ircc and cbsa together so I chose the cbsa note only .

Eligibility means if you’re admissible into Canada, since that’s passed your approval rate is high, unless they found misinterpretation during background check. Criminality is just checking if you’re not a threat to Canada’s security.

It’s still the same ircc that said I should provide them police certificates from the United States. I thought they should have check that too during their background checks . That was my thought o. But Iike have said it’s additional . If the visa is available let him or her upload it .

If someone received B1/B2 USA visa after they've applied for Canada TRV. Do they need to upload the USA visa to aid their application or Canada would find out one way or the other?

I uploaded mine. It’s an addition to your application. Even when I got promoted at work I still uploaded the promotion letter. If you have the visa after the application you can use the webform and upload.

Thank you Emmafe for the reply. The police report they asked for was for Nigeria and united states because have lived in the states before and I still hold valid one but it was after this application. Does the background check has anything to do with the police report. I have provided it for them even the united states own . I sent fbi my finger print card and theh have replied that no criminal record was found which have uploaded in the webform. Though nothing is on both the tracker and portal. No bvl and no tracker details. The tracker shows eligibility completed, biometric completed and the background verification still in progress.

Good morning everyone. I applied for visiting visa since Novermber last year with my family. I emailed the MP last 3 weeks and this is what they replied yesterday about my application.

* Received on November 9,2022
* Processing at the Lagos visa office
* Processing time is 714 days- Tends to fluctuate depending on what is happening in the region
*Criminality and eligibility have passed
* Request letter sent on june 17,2023-documents received on june 23,2023. Actively working on reviewing those documents.

This is what they replied. I wrote on this forum in May when theh asked of the request letter. Police certificate in Nigeria and the United states. Which I submitted. The united states own was the one the MP referred to on June 17 being received on June 23.

Please what's all the criminality and eligibility implies.

Good Morning

Thank you for your help the last time. Just giving you feed back . The first one I did was rejected because I was told the character was low. I did that my self with a stamp pad .I did that my self .so the second one I had to go to the police force headquarters someone help me out which was completely different with what I did the very first time. It came out last week and I have uploaded it . Thought it past the one month they gave me with three days but I was updating them on how the first one was rejected with reasons. I even attached the letter . I uploaded the Nigeria own immediately like three days after the request. I just noticed that in my portal it shows june 26, it shows we are reviewing the documents I provided. When I uploaded the Nigeria police certificate it shows that too. Please do you have an idea of what is next after reviewing. Thank you once again

You are requesting for your identity history summary. Make sure you click on online for faster processing. If you choose by Mail, it will take more than 30 days. For online, it took 7 days when I did mine for my permanent residence application.

Once you open the link, click online ,then you will see all information you need there , I think the processing fee is $18 or so. Then download the FBI printing card , you will find it on the page, print it out and do your fingerprint there. Pls make sure your fingerprint is good and clear because they might reject it. The first one I did was rejected and I applied again which takes another week. You can check on YouTube for proper finger print.

After submitting your application online, you will get an email where to send your fingerprint, something like ATTN: electronic summary, then the FBI address in the US, use courier service to deliver for you. You will get your report in your email within 7 days.

I have a 5 month old baby. I want to apply for my own visa now as I am eligible for IW and want to know if I can add my baby as well since I would (hopefully) not have to appear in person.

Else he would have to apply with his dad as he (my hubby) is not eligible for IW so that they can travel together for the interview.

I would suggest you get your own visa renewal first . Your husband and your baby can now apply for regular appointment . Children below 14 years do not need finger print . When you get your own visa then let your husband have a copy when going for the interview . I just got visa for my 4 years old son . While I renewed mine in January . The consular didn’t ask any question than what is happening today and do I have a visa. That’s all . And she gave us the white paper. Less than 2 minutes .

Thank you, I have filled the application online. I didnt do paper application and have also made the payment of 18usd as you have rightly said. I have printed out the paper for the finger print will make it legible and send it back to them through courier. But my question is that I thought they said they share data with the united states. Because on my profile eligibility is completed, biometrics is also completed and only background verification in progress.

I studied in the united states and also have just renewed my visa. After my studies I have renewed like 3times. If I get the Nigeria own . What of the united states. And they gave me 30days to do this.

On the tracker use forgot password. They will prompt you to put some details and also the email address they will send a code to for you to put new password . Follow the process and you will get it right .

Good morning, please I need an answer to this , i have done biometrics before in 2018, and in my application status not the tracker it shows the biometric number and date of enrollment. Also on my tracker the biometrics is completed and also eligibility . While background check is in progress. Will they still send me biometric validation letter. Please how long did your bvl took to come after your eligibility, biometrics got completed . Also congratulations to you . Because my eligibility and biometrics shows completed and update don the tracker on the 19th April while background checking is still in progress .
