that same year, kano fell to ANPP. And u should know that the situation was tense then as it is typical of any state that's about to fall to the opposition in an election, but obj still went there. In 2003, kano pple were already tired of pdp and were becoming aggressive towards their members and flagbearers. So the situation is not any different from now. The only difference I guess, is the pronounced type of failure that's fascia of gej- this is why it will b difficult for him(gej) to go there.

Kano is the only town where the governor has paid snipers to take down anyone campaigning for GEJ... Imagine the other time some drivers refused to drive GEJs bus to Kano even at 70k offer... APC Kano branch should learn that election is not a do or die affair.. My Igbo brothers that I do business with in Kano are even planning to leave before the election... It is really sad how kwankwaso is going about this but he should remember that any blood spilt after the election should be on his head, I just pray that GEJ will drop more military personal before and after the election

obj and his footsoldiers campaigned in kano and other parts of the north when he contested against buhari in 2003. Why is jonathan's case different? If he has anything to show as his achievement in kano, the people would welcome him with an open arm. He left no imprint of infrastructural development in the north/kano, except the skelewu he went there to dance after nyanya bombing. Ofcourse, you know kwankwaso and his team swept that badluck they left behind at the venue. And it also rained to wash the badluck off the soil on that day.

NB: gej campaign vehicles are in the north without drivers to drive them despite the huge pay attached.

As at d time buhari and apc got to the venue, the truck was still bringing in plastic chairs for people to sit- this goes to show the event was yet to start when buhari arrived. As the event progressed, i guess u saw how the crowd 'swelled'. The event , in my view was done in a rush, hence, the way u saw it at d begining of the rally. From there, they headed to calabar. And in calabar, it took them 5hr to organise for his arrival- it was not planned to hold, but they went ahead with it.
