I gave him hope last night.
Very necessary. There was no reason for the panic we saw yesterday. We have been in recession for as a long as we can remember. Nothing has changed in market. Companies are still making profit.

The guy that bought UBA yesterday at N7.50 must be smiling now.

Go and read that post again and underline the blame section. Then I would say sorry grin

If you cant please let us take caution. grin
You said "this is what giving people hope at a time like this can do" who gave him hope? Did anybody force him to buy at a price that he did?

You are or seem so, going by how you have been jumping around looking for you to blame for the bear. Getting too excited and in the " I told you so mood".

Relax, this is not the end of the market.

That is what given hope at a time like this can do

See what you trade not assumptions. Assumptions has dealt with many here Oando is an example. grin
Bro, remember that guy is solely responsible for his decision. Don't try to blame other people for it. If Access turns N15 tomorrow, will you still say this? Good thing is that the young at least bought a healthy/sound stock.

Stop pushing the blame agenda.

My fingers are burning. Bought access @9.90 prior to the buzzers. Now it's 7.90?
I also entered uba@7.50 today.
Chill bro. I guess you are quite new to the market. You don't lose until you sell. It's either you cut your loss or you wait it out. If not that market has been crazy, Access is not a bad buy at that price.

bro, this is not yet time to strengthen hope, this recession is Almost World Wide, People should watch and wait,

Down movement may linger than you think. grin
Between Sept and now, nothing significant has changed. The market will tell us where it is headed in the days ahead, recession or no recession

Someone of said GSK is expensive because of of EPS of 36kobo. I bet you are new to investing. Wapco is selling for over N20 but has EPS of 1naira and some kobo. Access has an EPS of N2.90 but is selling at N8 today, Union bank 56kobo EPS but trading at over N5 while Fidelity with 70kobo is trading below N2.50.

There are a lot of factors that account for valuation. I believe OGG and Currentprice will help you out.

@Sellydion.

We have seen this pattern play out again and again. If you want to sell, just go ahead and sell but remember recovery is already in sight starting from today. Most stocks will close higher than you expect. Bargain hunters know this and have already bought to their fill.

Also keep an eye on GSK vaccine news.

Happy investing.

Nigeria Economy is bigger than these few companies huh

It is well
I am looking at quoted coys for now. Food inflation and all sorts of terrible economic policies like shutting the border have been around for long now. I don't see any real impact on the stock market.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by PharmAlfred: 10:13am On Nov 23, 2020
Market will not change much. For the much I know, we have been in recession all the while. NBS just made it official. Banks are still cashing out looking at their results. Companies are not faring badly looking at the results they have posted. If you sell, you might not find the same stock to buy cheaper.

Yes... That stock is supposed to be trading nothing less than 20 naira
Let's say N15 at least. Market hasn't been fare to Access Bank, UBA and FBNH. Let's what happens in the days ahead. Those 3 stocks are usually bought on sentiment. Sentiment of what their price has always been in the past and not what it should be now.

Access Bank and UBA and behaving badly. Their small capital appreciation have been wiped off. Access has had a very poor run on the floor of the exchange. With the FBNH is going, it may likely overtake those 2 banks.

Keep an eye on GSK. Covid vaccine breakthrough could change it's trajectory. I think they have found a vaccine but just trying to go thru the necessary clinical procedures and approval. The way they collecting monies from different countries and promising production of to a billion in 2021 should not be waived off.
