my chemistry teacher in primary 5 (GOD bless his soul) made us commit the whole damn 20 elements to memory word for word....and to recite them PERFECTLY off hand. no shortcuts!

a feat we achieved thanks to his fat canes which landed mercilessly on our backs at the slightest error.

back then we taught he was wicked for doing that but now i know better cos they really helped me in sec school

PhonesRe: What Causes A Phone To Shock When Charging? by pharmguru: 12:34pm On Jul 11, 2017
the problem is not from the phone or charger but the electric mains supply from the socket.

try charging the phone in a different area/location from your house, if the shocks persist then you can conclude the device is faulty.

happened to me when i traveled to abj few weeks back. both my laptop n phone charger and the devices themselves were giving out electric shocks. i thought the problem was from my device until my friend in the house made similar complaints.

when i got back to my base i plugged my laptop to see if it will still shock but the shocks were no more.

being loyal....treating each other well....isnt that the whole point of being in a committed relationship??

what then is the need for going on dates?

i think girls who go on dates are either not in a committed relationship or are looking for better options.

no let them deceive you o....you got a nice guy? stick to him.

a good pharmacist wil nt dispense such drugs if it requires a prescription. and willl also ask u som questns bfor giving u d drugs cos he knws both d good nd harm drugs can cause.

if u cnt acess a pharmacy...mk sure u hv d contact of a pharmacist for proffessional advic befor u use drugs bought from a chemist.

VantagePoint:
Pray tell, why should doctors feel "threatened" that pharmacists "can always find a place outside the hospital"?
How do pharmacists working outside the hospital result in doctors losing their jobs?
Pharmacists want the degree to be upgraded to a doctorate, and you don't want to be bothered about acquiring more qualifications through postgraduate training?
"More clinical knowledge".Are you suggesting your primary degree is inadequate?
Do you know a lot of pharmacists in Nigeria(over 90%) work with local pharmaceutical companies (Orange, Neimeth, Emzor) not as pharmacists but sales reps?
That virtually all drugstores and pharmacies in Nigeria are not run by licensed pharmacists?
What have you done about it?
My questions are rhetorical, do not bother replying.
Sorry bro...tried resisting the urge to reply but i kinda find your points more interesting and challenging than your other dumb colleagues who cant counter ones point and so result in laughing. now to address your points,...a thousand yes! the primary degree obtainable in nigeria is not enough. the world has moved on in pharmacy and we are stil lagging behind.

all drug stores and pharmacists cannot be owned by lincensed pharmacists because the number of registered pharmacists are not enough to meet the drug demands of nigerians nationwide.
on what has been done about it?...its just a matter of time. by the time there are enough pharmacists to go round, all that will end. i dont suppose you would still want to get services from a chemist when a licensed pharmacist is nearby in the same neighbourhood would you?
and i didnt say doctors will lose their job when phrmacists work outside the hospital. but trust me, when we finally get to upgrade our degree like our colleagues all over the world, you guys wont be dealing with pharmacists just giving out drugs alone. the world has moved on with that long ago

story for d gods grin
you see, i was right about you. no wonder you didnt even try to counter what i said.
are you sure its not one miserable private university you got your MBBS from??
the real medical students don't have to write jamb serially to get their MBBS admision...they were made for it. not serial jamb writers like you who force themselves to study MBBS
HealthRe: Johesu Strike: Why The Public Silence? by pharmguru: 6:32am On Nov 25, 2014
armadeo:
Ole. If you want MBBS you know where to get it. Everyone is not equal that doesn't mean anyone is expendable.
na wa o....i didnt know you guys can be do dumb not to understand my point.
som1 said medical students are being used as nurses etc what do you call that?...is it not MBBS-nurses?
my point is, since you guys claim you can do "evrytin" without JOHESU, den why do we need graduates in those fields? let them scrap off admission into those other fields and
let there be only admission into MBBS....the usual number of people they normally admit; train all of them as full medical doctors then share the work of JOHESU among them. and all other workers go to rest since the all knowing doctors have taken over their job. then we will see how competent doctors are in doing "everything" like they claim.
if that happens what do we have....will that not be MBBS-nurses & MBBS-lab techs etc??
so dumb head,, how does that makes me want MBBS?

sorry you guys had to write jamb several times before you got your MBBS...no wonder you see it as a huge achievements. but its no big deal....the real medical students are the ones who wrote jamb once and got MBBS not serial jamb writers like you

Pharm guru, the truth is that ur strike is not effective. Even before the strike patients were used to buying most of their drugs outside. Now that doctor give them prescription sheet to source their drugs elsewhere - as usual, they see no difference, or need to complain. Your work in the healtj sector is to provide drugs and as long as you ignore that in order to encroach on field of doctors for ego and monetary reasons, so long will you suffer loss of job satisfaction. No amount of money paid you will make up for that loss. Mark it.
just knowing that the patients still need to get their drugs from the pharmacists in the long run is enough satisfaction for me.
as for encroaching on the field of doctors, that is your own fear voicing itself out. you are afraid that should pharmacists increase their clinical knowledge, they will encroach on your field. all the pharma cists are asking for is freedom to pursue their career to the peak like it is done in other sane countries worldwide where the real doctors exist.

some johesu charlatans can be so daft, sorry to say. If u want mbbs i believe jamb form is still on sale. Or better still go hug transformer tongue
belive me, when i got my admision for pharmacy, you would never hv gotten the admision with me. that was how competitive it was. i never said i wanted MBBS i said that will be a hilarious idea. anyway, am not like you who wrote jamb 5 times and even still, had to bribe your way before you got MBBS just because the ONLY way you can make it in life is to become a doctor and trample on JOHESU's rights in the process. the real doctors who got MBBS with ease will never blab like u. they dont brag about it either. only losers who couldnt get MBBS on one trial like you tink its a big deal getting MBBS. if i had applied for MBBS in the same school you applied for you would never hav gotten that MBBS you so proud of sef. would hav displaced you a hundred times over
