Nah its not time because Nigerian banks are not willing to invest tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars Cyber encryption banking and security platforms like Bank of America and their cohorts do. If they did, then it would be difficult in the first place to have access and even if they did, they would be able to trace it afterwards.
They won't do that since they like putting the cart before the horse and always wanting to reap without sowing. sad
Sports › Nigeria Reject Adidas Kit by Pharoh(op): 6:25pm On Dec 14, 2009
Nigeria have rejected the kit currently being marketed worldwide as their 2010 World Cup jerseys, saying a new design had yet to be signed off with kit makers adidas.

The 'new' kit has been on sale in stores worldwide, and was even on display at the 2010 World Cup Draws in South Africa, but NFF's Head of Marketing, Idris Adama, told KickOffNigeria.com that the NFF had yet to see the jerseys that have been on sale.

"We have not finalised anything about our new jerseys," Adama said. "We are looking at some designs with adidas, but we havent signed off on anything yet."

Adama added that the NFF were looking to come to a final decision before the African Nations Cup but did not say when the new kit would be ready.

The current kit (pictured) has angered many Nigerians, who have described it as a generic, off-the-shelf offering with little creative design.

It has led to an online petition against the German kit makers at www.ipetitions.com/petition/newjersey with a demand for a more befitting design ahead of the Nations Cup and World Cup

This guy has been on you trail for a year, you never gave him a chance and suddenly now you are heads over heels in love with him. What informs your sudden change of attitude? Maybe we need a more complete story before we start saying any thing.
That's a good start so lets hear from you and what was your reason for the one year cold feet.?

Sometimes you ladies take men for granted and have nothing meaningful to do with their time other than to chase you all their life.

The temporary solution to this malaise is for everyone to stop using ATM cards pending when a lasting solution or agreement is reached by all parties involved.

• Says his death ‘ll cause coup

Founder of Inri Evangelical Church and president, Inri Widows Foundation, Lagos, Primate Babatunde Elijah Ayodele, has cheering news for ailing President Umaru Yar’Adua.

Speaking to Sunday Sun at the weekend, the cleric, who has made several astounding predictions that had come to pass in the past, said: “God in His infinite mercy has had compassion on the president and reversed his death just as he did to King Hezekiah of old in the Bible.”

He said Yar’Adua would not die as God has looked into the petitions of Nigerians and answered their prayers for taking it upon themselves to seek the Lord’s face on behalf of the president.

Ayodele added: “Besides, God reversed Yar’Adua’s death because his death would cause military coup and would take the country backwards. That is one big reason the Lord decided to reverse his death.”

He urged Nigerians to continue their fervent prayers for the President as “there is nothing prayers cannot do. Our own duty as a man of God is to guide the nation spiritually. Our predictions all these years are to warn those concerned to take precautions. We are not here to cause panic and calamities. That is not the reason we make predictions.”

If Nigerians continue in their attitude of prayer for the president, Ayodele said: “God would make Yar’Adua to bounce back and function effectively as the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.”

The primate warned Vice President Goodluck Jonathan to be very careful of “political robbery.”

His words: “This time is very delicate for the vice president not to lose out in the political game that would unfold itself in the country.

He told Jonathan to be aware of things around him, watch his utterances and be very cautious. “This is not the best of times for him as some political jobbers are bent on destroying him and robbing him off of some benefits.

“Of course, the only way to avert this calamity is for him to come closer to his Creator and engage himself in seriuos prayers. Nothing is beyond God to do if the vice president is sincere and dedicated to prayers, the Lord would surely answer him.

“Real heavy forces are working underground he should beware because of political robbery. The situation can be rescued and brought under control with prayers. Jonathan needs a lot of prayers in this regards.”

It's okay, I'm not offended.

It's not the exclusive right of the mod to create match threads. Anybody can create any match thread.

Just that it's the mod's responsibility to ensure there are threads for Chelsea, Arsenal, Man Utd, and Liverpool. And 'cos the mod has to ensure these threads exist, members have gotten lazy. cheesy grin
Nobody wants to do any match thread again at all, they now expect the mod to do every single one they want. And it just irritates me some times, especially since I've explained numerous times that anybody can create any thread.
Thot you were one of dem people. I apologize.

So, if any match thread you desire is not on the board, you are very free to create one yourself. No exclusivity about thread creation at all.
If it's a big match, I'll sticky it, no matter who created it.
Good explanation but i don't create threads because of the condition to analyse it the way you gurus do it  grin, like puttinh some write-up in the thread but i can just do the A vs B thing lol . Okay i will test you this weekend because there are two tough matches in spain this weekend and lets see how that goes. One is a tough match and the other one is a derby. Na you go create am oo Mod  cheesy

Krayola:
Why not Barcelona . . . Barcelona has more active members on this forum than Liverpool. This is EPL bias and it stinks. As from now i declare that mods must make game threads for Barcelona too. OR ELSE, CRIZZIE . . .  I will show u pepper. Me and u will enter the same sokoto  wink
That premiership own self don too much and them go dey create thread for chelsea vs burnley and leave valencia vs sevilla for corner  grin  angry

Culture › Re: Why do Nigerian Women Bear Their Father's Name, After Marriage? by Pharoh: 8:51pm On Dec 10, 2009
Rosabelle:
Sorry madame. You might be the one in need of that little lesson. You cant be "fussed" to change a name. You can however make a "fuss" about changing a name. Neither applies to the nigerian woman changing her name after marriage. And I maintain, other nationalities DO BOTHER about the women changing their names. They "fuss" about it a lot.
So please dont talk about stuff you dont know. I dont care where you come from, but you need to have been to all corners of nigeria before running off at the mouth about what nigerian women are "fussed" to do or what we "fuss" about or not!
Now you got what she was trying to say and you are right women all over the world fuss about changing their names from one reason to another and they are legitimate IMO 40% : tongue

For the sake of their career
For the sake of their identity
For their family background
To question the rational behind that culture
The hassles and stress involved in such a task
Many More grin

They are very legitimate reasons but they should not be aggressive or stubborn when sorting this out with their hubby.

Rosabelle:
Well she did sound a bit silly talking about "nigerian women" as if other women in the world dont change their names after marriage.
Im still waiting for someone to tell me Im wrong in my conclusions of both their replies, cos I really would like to know if I have said somethign wrong!
I think maybe you did not initially understand what she was trying to say, she said she changed her name and at the same time still kept her fathers name. So what she was trying to say is that women do change their names to their husband names.

She is speaking in both capacity as a foreign and Nigeria lady (By marriage) that women do take on their husband names and sometimes still keep their father names along with it ( Dropping one of thier names).

You did not need to attack her because she was not looking down on Nigerian women but supporting them. For clarity sake she is married to a Nigerian man so why would she look down on Nigerian women?  undecided

In summary she is saying nigerian women do take up their husband names ( solely) and sometimes add their fathers name to it like her own case and Iyabo Bello Obasanjo.

Rosabelle:
And Mr Pharoh, kindly explain to me what the two ladies meant, since my reaction is that of a "modern nigerian lady". You dont have to kiss backside my friend. Dont piss me off. If I was wrong in my interpretation of their comments, then I'd apologise, but if I wasnt, then please just chill, cos I am justifiably aggressive. It makes me sick to read the stuff nigerians say sometimes, but I wont listen to the crap from non-nigerians too!!!
For the second poster i think the word was not mistyped but maybe the structure was not so right hence your mis-interpretation. I think she was trying to say there is some kind of worry if a nigerian lady will change her name or not while in other countries women just changes it without any worries or problem.

Its not that they have to force them to change it but some men do have problems with Nigerian women changing their name why in other countries he suggested that the women changes it immediately without any worries or problem.

Now to you, you might be wrong or not in your interpretation, that i don't know for now but what i was trying to let you know is that your message tone was just a little bit harsh and confrontational.

I am not kissing any backside sister and sorry if i pissed you off but i am just trying to be civil as from now on because confrontational arguments does us no good. It will lead to insults and fighting, we are adults and friends so lets keep the arguments on a safe plane.Hope you get me now or you like my former self?
