CultureRe: Abohs Of Delta State Are Not Igbos by Pharoh: 5:25am On Aug 20, 2013
oturugo: You must be joking by thinking anyone cares if he accepts Igbo identity. He is not Igbo accepted but my annoyance is about his labelling Aboh as non Igbo. It is a slap on Abohs who see themselves as Igbo. It doesnt matter to me if someone from Okigwe says he is not Igbo but he must not be insane to claim that Okigwe is not IGBO. So let him stop the insanity.
Its a free world so live and let the others live until the day it is finally decided by the majority people in aboh, the time is coming in the future for sure. The same way you do not want him to label aboh as non igbo is the same way he doesn't want you to label aboh as igbo, hope you get the drift and realize what i said above. No one is going to stop or shut up for anybody in and outside of nairaland so the earlier you get that into your the brain the better for you. Don't even know why you are crying more than the victims, so oga please let abohs who see themselves as igbo take on the task and stop having unwarranted headache for abohs.

We will keep on having this argument over and over again instead of you people to focus on development in your region that will attract others and not the other way round of imposing your identity on others. People will not think twice before picking up citizenship status of developed countries and that should be the focus in the eastern region. Organize and develop your area so that it will be attractive for people to fight for possible inclusion and stop harassing others.
CultureRe: Abohs Of Delta State Are Not Igbos by Pharoh: 10:15pm On Aug 19, 2013
I think people are mistaking the need to have a separate identity to mean that hostility will be in place and the concept of brotherhood or cooperation will be lost. Even with the igbo identity and brotherhood in the southeast, you still see IMO versus Anambra fighting here on nairaland. Aba state deport and sacking non indigenes, enugu and anamabra fighting to be the pride of the east and so forth, so what then is the benefit of this so called brotherhood or igbo identity?. You cannot force a dysfunctional identity or brotherhood on people who think they can do better by deciding their own future based on freewill.

clefstone: as much as i accept the bini origin of Aboh, i will neva call myself a bini man. Just thot to make tht clear
You will notice that most of them have stopped posting on this thread while they keep on repeatedly viewing the thread and hoping that you will suddenly accept the igbo identity after your ongoing discussion.

clefstone: cursor on 'ignore that Igbo man'. Action: double click left cursor key. DONE. Yipee!!! No more nna talk here
It is best you ignore people who are abusive and uncultured in a public discussion like him, i only give one warning and that is it for me.
CultureRe: Abohs Of Delta State Are Not Igbos by Pharoh: 12:33pm On Aug 19, 2013
oturugo: what a load of rubbish above. How can an Aboh trade be replaced by Anioma. You guys are the problem as some of you have rejected Igbo identity, Anioma identity while some from Aboh have also rejected ukwuani identity. Wesle80 have asked you and your friend a question and you have not defined that igboness to him.
This is one of the reasons we do not want to be yoked with you, instead of you to discuss like an adult in relation to what you have above. Rejecting the anioma, ukwuani or ndokwa identity is not the issue for us because at the end of the day the binding force is not really about the above classification but part of my earlier write up. You did not get it the same way you still cannot understand why we are moving away from the igbo identity.

AfricaFace: When I said in this forum few weeks ago that the toothless goat called Soludo is heading no where, people wanted to eat me up. The guy would be better in one classroom or in a closed office in world bank.. but his greed did not allow him, with ihis history of not achieving anything while acting as CBN governor to not understanding the NIgerian politics. His hall of shame is building up.. let him keep trying... he will soon end up in labour party... passing six is not passing senses..... he doesn't have the political smartness we need for a governor. All his economic policies are paper based.. He should go to his village isuofia and build the Dubai-Africa.... FOOL!!!!!!!!!
This is very acidic and direct to the point grin

CultureRe: Abohs Of Delta State Are Not Igbos by Pharoh: 10:33am On Aug 19, 2013
clefstone: The definition of Igbo is a loose one and has been evolving since colonial times. Not minding our origin, Abohs could easily hv been part of the Igbo identity but for the events of the 60s. Nothing has united and defined the Igbos more than the civil war and once the Abohs were neutral/anti-seccession, it became difficult to identify wit the evolving Igbo identity. Today, you, Mr Wesley cannot reason lyk an Igbo man. That war made them into sometin we r not. By d way i wud lyk to know ur 'afa kene' so i can greet u as an Aboh man
Very good reply as you pointed to one of the reasons some Aniomas do not want to be in the same union with them. The basis of being in a union goes beyond speaking a related language or having similarities in culture. Canada and USA both speak the English language but they did not form the same country, they can only tilt towards a form of union based on concrete things that goes beyond language. People should take a look at other unions in the world to see what really lies at the foundation but the people of south eastern region just do not want to understand these important issues.

There are other things like ideology, aspirations, common self determination goal, development focus, basis of identity and value system, etc that are important in forming a union or identifying yourself with other groups of people in a common name. To them it is because the civil war was lost, need to be on the defeating side and means of integrating into the new Nigeria ( post civil war) that was biased towards the eastern region and Igbo people in general. Please wake up, it might look that way to you but when you come down of your high horse to ask the core reasons the Aniomas wants to be alone then you will get the concrete answers.

Let me stop here by asking again that, leaving politics aside ( You guys are not even competent self ) please can you guys tell us the basis in which Aniomas should be in the same union with you guys or the basis that will make the union work as one effective unit?. Why is it compulsory to be under the igbo identity and not Anioma identity?, Norwegians and danish people speak almost the same language but have their own different countries with excellent cooperation under the Nordic union. The same can be for Anioma and Biafra so that they can both develop in a union made up of different units instead of forming one big identity that will be difficult to move forward.

N:B You can replace aboh with anioma in my write up

I know it has not always been free but just highlighting it for those who want weekly or monthly prize money instead of going with end of the season winning prizes. I did not understand what that guy said before but if that's the case then lets go with that, agree on a fixed exchange rate and give a deadline to start sending money. It should not be more than next Wednesday so that chamo can take stock and create the league.

So i think everyone should be fine with this then and we can start following the procedure step by step as indicated by Godday
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Fantasy Premier League Betting? by Pharoh: 9:14pm On Aug 10, 2013
Inter bank transfer transactions are not free so it will cost extra money to transfer funds to winners per week or per month so lets go with the end of the season winning format. Except the winning team or manager agrees to pay the inter bank transfer charges which is 100 naira i think.

Our problem is more of a trust issue and i don't see why people cannot trust the person in charge right now. I also suggest we do not fix an equal amount, let those who wants to contribute donate whatever they like between 1k to 5k and lets build from there.

Just bookmark the pages for them and when they change mouth, then you show them their past shameful position. Na so them praize fabregas and alexis sanchez when it was going good but some weeks later erm lipsrsealed.

valacious: Can someone pls explain how this mock league works.
You register @ fantasy.premierleague.com, select your 15 players then pick 11 players out of the fifteen to feature each week and gain points through goals, assists etc to gain points for the week. The points are used to rank you with other fantasy members and there is the cup games where you use your week points to compare with other players. A larger point than you opposing player earns u a win and three point or just imagine Chelsea playing other teams home and away until the end of the season.

@De-Hero me no understand you oo . . . . @johnstar . . .use a different browser or restart your system then register again.

CultureRe: Delta Igbo, Bendel Igbo: What Does That Even Mean. by Pharoh:
^^

Self preservation is important for survival and it was not really about taking the expedient route because the aniomas have always been clear about their independence and unique identity for a long time pre civil war.

pazienza: The last time i checked, ifeajuna was from onitsha, onitsha though in south east,is an anioma town.
On the surface he was from eastern Nigeria, so the point you were trying to make is not fully buy-able and don't forget how you people scream all the time that the whole of onitsha is not anioma land. One of the reasons anioma state has not materialized in the past was because the southeast did not want the anioma areas of anambra to be crafted into the new state.

I was fully a participant in a thread on nairaland here of recent where you guys were so bitter and argued hard here against that idea. There was so many disgusting opinion in that thread like if that's the case then let them remain in delta state as no one is going to take onitsha from anambarians. So you people should understand that we are not fools and can see beyond your fathom fake igbo brotherhood. You cannot eat your cake and have it at the same time, claim anioma areas in anambra and still turn around to tell us that ifeajuna is an anioma man.

Abagworo: How could Ifeajuna have handed over power to Ironsi when the coup wasn't successful? No Igbo was killed (both Delta Igbo and Southeast Igbo) but the coup was carried out by majority Delta Igbo and Southeasterners did not deny them even when we faced deaths and massacre because of their actions. Ironically, Ikas that were thought to be one of us (Igbos) hurriedly exonerated themselves and aided in killing other Igbos. It would have been easier for Southeasterners to join the rest of Nigeria and narrow it down to Delta Igbos and exonerate the Easterners and also fish out the Delta Igbos in the East and hand over to federal forces. So people should look at the bigger picture when making some insinuations that sound more like betrayal of a historic sacrifice.
I was talking about acting president nwafor orizu handling over power to ironsi and not ifeajuna. One anioma was killed in unegbe and it was your opportunistic actions that made you targets later and the first counter killings did not come until months later. Please check the link below to see the actions of your leaders and how they brought the hammer on themselves and not forgetting the actions of ojukwu that led to the civil war.

Champ ke? cheesy . . .but take a look the second time and lets see how you will apply the expo lol.

Deiok: so how am i going to get the code on NL play?
Chamo will mail you or send you a pm and you can always make unlimited transfers before the start of the first game week so changes are still open.
CultureRe: Delta Igbo, Bendel Igbo: What Does That Even Mean. by Pharoh: 9:29pm On Aug 07, 2013
Abagworo: Mention the names of those involved in the coup and 90% are from Delta state while the other 10% include Southeast, Yoruba's and other Nigerians. Please the history is too open to be tampered with. Ironsi wasn't involved in the coup in any way instead he was killed for prolonging the execution of the Delta Igbos involved in the coup.
You should blame ifejuana, the igbo guy who handed power to ironsi and ironsi for the plight that led to the biafra crisis. Ademoyega also participated in the coup but no one touched the yoruba people because they suffered causalities and it was the lack of causalities in the east that led to the term igbo coup.

In your login page click on transfers at the top and you will have the chance to select 15 players with a budget of 100 pounds. There will be eleven first team player and four bench players, the composition goes like this, 2 gk, 5 df, 5 mf and 3 fw. After you save it then you can pick your team for each game week, arrange your preferred substitution and pick captains for your team.

This is my team below

Truly speaking neymar does not fit into the system except he is willingly to learn, he falls 20 times in 5 minutes. Lacks positional sense, intelligent movement, creating, opening and running into space. The team philosophy is strange to him, players like xavi, messi and iniesta cannot play without those triangles and tiki taka system or it is tiki tata now. He gives the ball away too much and with time he might just be another ibra but the coach will have patience with him but not senior players.

He made a mistake coming to spain actually sha. . . . . . falcao ran away when it was too much so goodluck to neymar.

azpekuliar: What are the prizes?
To be announced before the end of the year and its open to amendment by the participating players. So this stage is just for registration, premier league is open while the other leagues are limited to twenty teams each. This is the first year and the plan is to continue with it every year and develop it further through changes and innovative inputs.

The fun is the focus though at the end of the day and not really about the prize but with good management then the fun can be sustained with stuffs like prizes and any other possible incentives.

Someone is suppose to share the code as they did last season but the normal league is renewed already except the head to head league.

You are good but club, player sentiment and side distraction are your problems but i will not forget also developing a sound strategy to follow for getting more points and following player statistics.
