Another ego-bloated overfed deranged butcher in ward coat on the loose again. This Rohr no dey hear word. It thought he has gotten everything right until I saw that he dropped the most offensive forward Iwobi.
Iwobi should be right behind the 2 strikers. Mikel should be sacrificed and benched while Etebo remains in the DM position where he did superbly well shutting down modric and rakitic against Croatia.

Iwobi can take rebound shots even in front of 2 defenders and still get it on target. Why should he be on the bench.

Anyway I always knew Rohr have no ideas. He is just experimenting by trial and error. Nigeria will lose against Iceland if care is not taken.

Sensible coaches will play a 3 man defense only when 2 workaholics like Etebo and Ndidi are shielding the 3 man defense. Mikel will lose balls, refuse to tackle and ultimately expose the defense to unwarranted, unnecessary and avoidable attacks.

Oga please you lie. Mikel is the most useless player in that midfield. It's been ages since he last made an offensive progressive pass going forward. Iwobi and even Tyrone (a left back) are more offensive than Mikel. Even in the DM position (the position he's been playing since 2005) Ndidi and Etebo are far better.

Mikel should be benched, he is not indispensable.

Rohr listen to me and listen carefully. If you play Mikel obi in the offensive No 10 position you'll lose and be disgrace. Mikel is not an offensive player and it's been ages since he gave his last offensive pass in his dwindling carreer. Mikel can be benched, he is not dispensible.

And if you made a blood oath that mikel must play, he MUST be made to play the DM position provided Etebo and Ndidi are around him to clear his mess. That means 3 DMs and I think that's crazy.

Iwobi is the only guy wired to play 10 position (if you hadn't dropped Kelechi Nwakaili you would have had more offensive options). Ighalo is too fat and not hungry enough, Simy Nwankwo is hungrier and can be a good joker pairing Iheanacho upront. Musa and moses takes the 2 flanks. Offensive and pacy Tyrone must then bench Shehu to give the wings more life.

We know some if these players more than you do. We've watched some of them since they were in Under 17s and U-20s, so don't think our opinions don't matter. For Godsake do the right thing, even if we lose then, we can hold our heads high.

If I see useless Mikel in the No 10 position and fat buttocks Ighalo in No 9 position and Iwobi marroned out in the flanks in the next match then I'll know that Gernot Rohr is empty-headed.

Mikel should be benched he has lost his offensive abilities and we don't need him in the DM position either. Ndidi and Etebo are doing well there.

If we must win Iwobi MUST play in No 10 position behind Iheanocho and Simy Nwankwo. Musa and Moses take the flanks while Etebo and Ndidi shut down the midfield. Players must move close to one another to support each other during possessive play and make run-ins when necessary.

The Icelanders are tall and huge so aerial balls may be counterproductive. Ground balls, run-ins and quick decisive shots can win the match.

Tyrone is offensive, quick and pacy and has no business being on the bench.

Yeah one of them is even a cook and their coach a former player and a dentist.

Iceland is a very peaceful serene and literate country and have highest number authored published books per capita. Infact 1 in every 10 Icelander have written and published a book. Iceland is one reason I have always believed that smaller countries work better and are more citizen-oriented. A big reason why Nigeria should be split and everyone go their ways and manage their affairs.

I'd love to visit.

Obiano wanted a 'classy' name for that street because it is one of the 'classiest' streets in awka with hotels and clubs, he didn't do it to spite anyone. Even at that the renaming will fail at the end just like Ezi Elias (Ezi Okpala) did.

The renaming won't change anything. People will still refer to it as Abakiliki street till forever.
After all, the renaming of Ezi Elias in Enugu-Ukwu Anambra state to 'Ezi Okpala NRI' didn't change anything. People still refer to it as 'Ezi Elias' till today after many years of its renaming.

Abakiliki is the most popular street in Awka due to its boisterous night life and swarming of runz girls. It is the red light district of Awka. It won't change the popular name.
