Ha perhaps YAHAYA is wittingly enlightening the party members to support the creation of OFFICE OF THE NEXT CHAIRMAN for the party so he can resume work as the next in line should GANDUJE finally gets booted out. Funny BELLO. |
kokoA:Well said. |
The floating residences are danger to the people living in there especially the children hence should be demolished and the government should find a way to relocate them upland by putting them in low-cost housing units with monthly rents/charges. GOD BLESS LAGOS STATE EKO O NI BAJE O tete7000:Since we don't have many MAKOKO-like floating houses in LAGOS, then destroying the floating slum will be a start and a message to other dwellers elsewhere that the next opportunities they get, they've got to move upland so as not to get caught in relocation troubles wherever cleanliness exercise reaches their environment. That dwelling keeps expanding and the earlier the state rises to the call to duty, the better. The situation would only get worse if nothing is done AND THE URBAN REGENERATION PLANS FOR THE ECOSYSTEM WOULD BE DIFFICULT TO SUSTAIN. |
Good one. But as you said, be true to your words by walking the talk. ILU ATI IPINLE EKITI O NI BAJE O. GOD BLESS EKITI STATE GOD BLESS ALL SOUTHWEST STATES OF NIGERIA GOD BLESS ALL PATRIOTIC YORUBALAND GOD BLESS ALL PATRIOTIC YORUBA INDIGENES ILE OODUA A GBEWA T'AKO T'ABO O |

May GOD continue to bless LAGOS state RenaissanceGuy:I don't know which developed country you mean but the much I know, every country celebrate a milestone achieved by their new project. A new airport celebrate the arrival of the first aircraft and in the same vein, the arrival of biggest one to have ever visited it makes the news too. IT may not be global report but the state it happens is provided the record by the local media spaces. Same applies to new seaport. It's a global thing and what's more? If any ship berth there (I mean at LEKKI deep seaport)that's the largest any African port has seen, it's not merely going to be a local record but would also get a space in the GWR irrespective of where the ship must've been built. In such record, the ship's manufacturer, the departure port and the arrival port would all get HONOURABLE mention. |
Kizz is definitely so underrated. He always come out with a bang...a big BANG! |
Chieftroller:donate ke where OYO state no be ANAMBRA or other SOUTH EAST states where they celebrate audio and meagre donations. here if it's not real, better shove it deep down your ass. |
Thank GOD |
Good, we're marching forward on and on. |
Get them off and fence off the areas to avoid a return. It's so sad people just turn available space to their illegal home or stall without caring about the hazard such poses to the environment, to the society and to the infrastructure in proximity. It's not a matter of do or die to reside in LAGOS; and don't bring proximity to work as excuse for you can stay on the outskirt and still come to work everyday. People do. GOD SAVES LAGOS STATE FOR A GREATER LAGOS STATE EKO O NI BAJE O |
Make NIGERIA sha no allow any of the devils use am o |
Good luck to her |
Nice one |
Exactly my view too. Majority of levies collected by 'these boys' evaporates into the pockets of their superior with the local, state and federal government enjoying so little of such benefits. If government can just reduce their participation to just mere invigilators with decent percentage for their hardwork, the local, state and federal government start benefitting as much as required even though this system will reduce the influence of and revenue going to their superior. The system would bring sanity to our roads too, especially where harrassments and intimidations are concerned. |
Jayboi:THANKS for the clarification. if it's for road expansion, then it has to go. development must not be hindered by sentiments and emotions. GOD BLESS OSUN STATE GOD BLESS ALL SOUTH WESTERN STATES OF NIGERIA GOD BLESS ALL YORUBA INDIGENES HOME AND ABROAD IGBA A YEWA T'OKO T'AYA T'OMO O |
May GOD continue to strengthen our gallant soldiers. |
Why are certain people always wailing at cleanliness exercise LASG undergoes? ARE they insinuating they're always the symbol of anything disorganization, illegality and slums in the state? Guess I need to learn something new! |
God be her strenght. |
tunaps:if that's true, then kudos to the then kaduna government. |
Seconded SoNature:Why must it be the EL Rufai's recommended type of restructuring? Why not the one that will bear consultations from across all regions of the federation with rules and regulations that everyone would agreed to abide and be governed with? IF we must move into restructuring, all regions opinions count and where there's/are disagreement(s), we can then throw it open for the masses to decide at the ballot . But one mistake we mustn't do is to subject the fate of each federating region to the decision of someone who don't even understand their plight and need as a different tribe, clan or people. |
Ironu se otooto: iya n ronu, omo n roka. |
The sh!t is getting outta hand. The government needs to address the issue fast before it becomes the norm. |
True but I think what's more important now is if they've been able to cover all the noted loopholes in readiness for the next election. Like JEGA said, the politicians would always try to explore whatever inadequacy the system portray so INEC needs to be miles ahead of them all. |
Great one from the FG. |
Hope the state give this report the required attention. The last thing we want in LAGOS is insecurity. |
Now that's a good step going forward piriton:OF course, all states have the GIS verification system but it's always being paperworks and as such the process can be manipulated HENCE THE MANY CHALLENGES OF OMO ONILE (LAND GRABBERS), INVALID/FRAUDULENT DOCUMENTS/DOCUMENTATION, PURCHASE OF LANDS IN COURT DISPUTE etc. What LAGOS launch here is the e-platform where, at home, without the assistance of third party companion that may try to defraud you, you can make due verification, learn and make payment and get your legit document printed out from the online platform without stress. |
This CRISIS in RIVERS STATE now seems a political deception between two mutual friends, IMO. Hope it favours the state though |
The revealed identities of the foiled ABUJA kidnap attempt had shattered my old belief that the perpetrators are certain bandits from north. Now more enlightened (and knowing the criminals could be residents of SWNG or apologists of a certain aspirant of the political highest seat) I hope the AMOTEKUN crew get into action in assistance for the police to rescue the man before SOME AGRIEVED ELEMENTS TAKE THEIR ANGER ON HIM. Remember this is a LAGOSIAN. |
Congrats. |
The guts of the NORTHERNERS, uggggh! |
