Tranquility2345:--------------------------- A chopper transporting Herbert Wigwe, the CEO of--------------------------- READ the exerpt underneath your post. It simply indicated FRIDAY NIGHT that which meant if you throw in the 7 or 8 hours difference inbetween us and them, it would've happened midnight our local time and by 9 or 10am, some relatives would've gotten the information but it would be damn too late to cancel only a couple of hours to schedule. If it gets to relation, then somebody amongst the organiser would get the news too but maybe helpless to cancel. AND lest I forget, you don't have to insult anyone to explain your point. It's just my opinion and I maybe wrong. I just based my submission on the timeframe and the velocity at which news travel in this jet age especially one that has to do with a very notable person. |
Cogs:I guess the organiser must've withhold this information since morning knowing it would be so hard to turn people away just few hours to the race (most especially the Africans that flew in all the way from their respective countries). This is sad, a big tragedy for the country, the family and to the corporate world. Sad to say goodbye. BigBashiru:Of course, SUPERBOWL can't be in a remote location but what you should consider is how close the nearest airport/train or ferry terminals are to the area and how crowdy everything would be at that moment with thousands coming around to watch the same game. A rich dude would never want to subject himself to such strenous situation especially when there's a less problematic option he can afford. |
Good for the host communities but we still want more private investors in the POWER GENERATION SECTOR and I think our army of local enterprenuers should be encouraged to participate. |
Solution! Hope you guys are already giving it the right measure because a good life is everything an average NIGERIAN wants. A sage says, “ti ebi ba ti kuro ninu ise, ise ti buse (food availability/surplus/security reduces the impression/impact of poverty in any given society).” |
Great. A proactive measure always have a long sustainable result and saves against avoidable calamity(s). GOD BLESS LAGOS STATE FOR A GREATER LAGOS STATE GOD BLESS ALL YORUBALAND ILE OODUA O NI BAJE O ecolime:DON'T mind the !d!ot. He will be the first to complain if he get enroute the bridge only to be told that there's no road (or that the delay they're experiencing is all down to an ongoing maintenance work) IF THE MINISTRY DIDN'T NOTIFY THE POPULACE. SEE the way he confidently cited developed country like those climes don't always keep their citizens abreast of ongoing developments in their society, especially for travel plan, safety precautions, and public development awareness (because it's their tax and they need to know how it's spent.). Irony1:HEAR yourself out. DO you mean I should rather keep shut whilst you mislead people? Is that the height of you sensibility? Anyway, now that you've agreed there has to be publicity albeit minimal (like you opined ), I can now proceed to enlighten you that this is an announcement borne out of JUST a commissioner press brief done at his inspection of the repair work. He didn't just wake up one day to announce it. He was briefing the press at the inspection of an ongoing repair work. BESIDES, with all the inspection, commissioning, and flag offs that the government of H.E Sanwo Olu had done concerning the numerous projects he'd undertaken across different sectors in the state, don't some !D!OTS still claim they're yet to see what he's done in office? Consider if they don't let people know what they're doing, such statement might spur people against the government, especially in a LAGOS where each new infrastructure gets swallowed by the reality of the population SUCH THAT IN NO TIME PEOPLE TENDS TO REALISE/BELIEVE ITS STILL NOT ENOUGH. WE know you hardly commend the state progressive stride, so let us worry about the consequence of whatsoever action they take (after all, its not your state of origin)and let us be. Just ignore next time instead of trying to enlighten us with NONSENSE. Your state deserves progress too, channel your concern towards her. |
Of course the OP can't be of Yoruba origin: he's merely hoping to mislead and promote wrong impression ACTING UNDER SUCH MONIKER. Point blank, a Yoruba indigene would've verified information he saw (especially one that devaluate the impressive impact of his kinsmen whether home or abroad)online before BASHING HIS COUNTRY USING SUCH INFORMATION. I wonder how useless and degrading a tribe can be THAT THE INDIGENES WILL RATHER RUN UNDER THE GUISE OF ANOTHER TRIBE TO INHIBIT THEIR SELF STUP!D!TY. GTB is making waves across Africa and is successful in South A frica. same as Acess, First Bank, UBA, Paystack, a couple of airlines we have running in their major airports (successfully) and even our own telecommunication (GLOBACOM). Even the shoprite credited to S.A has been bought over by a Nigerian. Shameless liar pushing a fierce contest for the worst LIAR against his/her preffered candidate. |
Nigeria?World cup?Can we be able to host such big tournament? I mean, would FIFA trust us enough to enable us shoulder such responsibility of hosting the world? |
I guess this end is where they've been driven at since the floating system began. I pray it yields the right result but knowing this is NIGERIA where sabotages put all their weight behind a dysfunctional system, I'm afraid it may not deliver the right result UNLESS THE CENTRAL BANK RELIGIOUSLY PAY ATTENTION TO EACH PROCESS OF TRANSACTION and sanction infraction as quick as possible with appropriate penalty without minding whose horse is gored. GOD BLESS NIGERIA |
Yeah, that's the spirit! |
Another gain |
Good |
Good that they know now so that they may improve their games in the grand finale to forestall further death. We know it ain't easy but surely they can do better than last time out. |
No one is asking nobody to not protest but if you must do, go do it in your state of origin and be a dear to notify the necessary authorities so that if things go south, they know whom to contact. |
RIP إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّآ إِلَيْهِ رَٰجِعُونَ |
Guess some peeps are about to cough out some illegitimate funds they have even forgotten to have swallowed. But how easy can that be? I think, we'd have to patiently watch how things unfold. |
Some criminals are taking the advantage of the vastly publicized MO of the killer-herdsmen to perpetrate their inbuilts evil hoping the blames would be placed on the herdsmen. They failed this time and so shall their failure continues. I stand to be corrected though but left to me, that was an act of assasination and I hope the cops would push harder to unravel the people who paid the suspect apprehended to mastermind the killings. |
The president added: “You pledge to Nigeria your country, my country to be faithful, loyal, and......................................................................................... THE above exerpt had always got me thinking, “Where did it all started getting wrong/bad?” We need to take a deep breathe and ask ourselves if truly anyone amongst us(be it from the politicians or the masses )is acting in line with that pledge. IF we care for a better life as we claim daily, then we must start acting it. |
Sad. They lost to the bad weather. |
Let's see how it goes. Hopefully their would be surplus and drastic price reduction. The NIGERIA we all aspire is achievable but all hands must be on deck to push through. GOD BLESS NIGERIA WE RISE! |
Another one? Don't they ever get eradicated? |
Urhobo wan use style collect land. Misrepresentation not corrected in due time becomes a widely referenced fact overtime. |
And some people had erroneously being pointing fingers at the innocent FULANIs up north. They always aspire for enemity between the YORUBAs and the NORTHERNERS. Kudos to the Yoruba who are always patient and calculative as nothing good can be achieved with rash decision borne out of emotions but regret. |
Good. GOD saves all YORUBALAND |
Reserves? Do we have anything like it? |
madfind:DON'T tell me you're rooting for TRUMP this forthcoming election 'cause the much I know, TRUMP ain't better. IN fact, AMERICANS voted him out because they were absolutely fed up of him. madfind:THEY're same of same. It all boils down to whom they appoint to work with them because majority of what they do are tied to official signatory, pronouncement and party agendas. they're always not the ones who rack up their brains for solutions. American people vote base on party's agendas and candidate personality/integrity hence the likelihood of having TRUMP appearing on the ballot sheet can't be waived away. At least he has money to campaign and that's a thing not many can beat. |
Hopefully so |
Can't wait for the commencement. That bridge is long overdue aguluobi:Really? What informed that submission of yours? Aside FASHOLA (and that's even debatable as many believed the fact that FASH did so much with relatively less resources and obviously set the visibly tone of massive regeneration in the state, he'd have gotten better than the current governor if given similar resources), no governor in NIGERIA since the beginning of the fourth republic outperformed H.E Sanwo Olu's first tenure (regardless whether the said governor had completed his two term). If you're in doubt, bring out the better governor's achievements, let's juxtapose them with SANWO OLU's first tenure. |
Better to dey celebrate each goal by pitying the SOUTH AFRICANS. |
Malroux: Malroux:Everybody knows LAGOS is a cosmopolitan state. It has numerous non-yoruba residents in there too who can speak the language, so that statement, like the SOROSOKE WERE that became a symbol of the 2020 ENDSARS struggle, could've been spoken by anyone. At least, when the fastest fingers to burn up the OYINGBO TERMINAL was apprehended and arraigned in court, we all got to know the name he bears and from which region he came from. During the protest, he took opportunities in speaking the language to mix up with naive protester to perpetrate his political hatred for the state that harbour and provided for him while he needed better life. Don't be surprised the voices might be on such pronouncement to score political points. And to add, why are you the lots so uncomfortable (reminding us at every giving opportunity that there's hunger in the land)while you insinuate that another region is the one feeling it?The much we both know, you hardly care about others (in fact, you blame others for everything), so if it's truly not you feeling it more, you would be quietly happy now. But if you think this statement would eventually win some sympathy votes for your candidate, then you're just fixing yourselves for another BIG disappointment and round of wails come 2027. |
God saves us in this country |
nairavsdollars:GO back to the article you read about the NAMIBIA dead president, he had treatment in the USA. Like AKEREDOLU, he must have later submitted to his fate in his country probably because he'd been told that he was already at the final lap of the journey. You guys can be funny with your selective reportage. |
I see her returning back to EUROPE with a big bang. I also see her continuing her stardom at her new world (BAY FC). Go girl, we got your back. |
