This plan had always been on the card since the FASHOLA administration but himself and the successive government had been unable to follow through. I hope the current government will follow through though, but they must've provided all infrastructures stipulated in the design for the new location before they move them so as not to develop a cluster the government and the traders would not be proud of. One thing should not be mistaken though, the urban plan and regeneration plan for the entirety of IKEJA of which COMPUTER VILLAGE is a part must be prioritized above all other things. |
That's alright |
We blame government for the state of the nation but we care less about the dark hearted individuals amongst us who contribute daily to the decay. Time we started calling out vices of all shapes until the people behind them stop the menace. A good individual makes up a good society which in turn makes up a good nation. The change we aspire can begin with you or me. Let's act responsible now. GOD BLESS NIGERIA WE RISE |
We obviously can do better |
Good one from H.E Governor Seyi Makinde. GOD BLESS OYO STATE GOD BLESS WESTERN STATES OF NIGERIA GOD BLESS NIGERIA WE RISE! |
Eriokanmi:Again look into the mirror for the bigot. Aina made CAF best team too but it didn't matter because you want to shove it down our throat that he underperformed (even though you're wrong)basically because of a bad day in the final game where everyone of them flopped. Bassey even made a mistake that directly led to a goal in the same match and had less influence on the tourney than Aina but yet, just to show bigotry, you decided to dragged him instead into the underperformers circle because Iwobi was being dragged. You want to reciprocate what you believed was the doing of the Yorubas hence the Aina comment. Onyeka was useless in the midfield that day, not shielding the defence properly and was run ragged by Kesse in the midfield thus exposing the backline more but those don't matter. But when Aina couldn't stop Adingra, he suddenly became a flop to you and is being blamed for the two goals, one of which the attack that led to it was gifted to the opponents by another defender who failed to get a mention from you because he was from a certain tribe you'd love to protect. Don't sweat it, that's everything your anthics say. It's written all over your post. I hadn't even thought of checking your previous posts until you mention your political leaning to cover your lineage. You just go about decieving yourself with that moniker, you reeks whom you are point blank. About Obasanjo, the people who usually believed YORUBA or a section of the tribe had one time refered to him as IGBO or having IGBO lineage are the IGBOS themselves. They confused the YORUBAs disassociation from him as not belonging to them especially where many proclaim that since he usually had association with them tribe and favour them more than his tribe, then he can be a part of the IGBOS too and nobody cared anymore. But things he did was in the interest of one NIGERIA and never for once criminalized, quarrel with any YORUBA man unjustly neither did he fail to give credit to whom is due. He commended Asiwaju Tinubu when he started the Lekki FTZ and the EKO ATLANTIC project despite both not agreeing on political ground. |
This is grand. And please they should equip each with the best available facilities required in a perfect health care centre. |
Eriokanmi:If you're looking for a bias mindset, just go look into a mirror and the dude with the worst one would be glaring at you. Jeez, who amongst them had a good game in the game in the final (the only game because of whom you wanted to put a blame on Aina)? If ever we even have to blame any of the defender, it should even have been Bassey who stvpidly chested a high ball down in front of our goal area for an oncoming Ivorian attacker to capitalized on for the second goal. Go back to the game to see the mistake that led to the second goal. You're blinded to the mistake but complains about Aina who was trying to defend the blunder (albeit unsuccessful). Why don't you call out Troos too for allowing Haller sneaked a foot into his front for the goal or was it only Aina that must stop a goal? Again, Bassey was such a big fool for gifting the Ivorian such glorious opportunity and he should thank his star people overlooked the blunder. The team, itself, was able to make the final on the back of such very good defensive workrate from the backline, the one of which Aina was a pivotal contributor. Iwobi was being called out because he had a bad tournament. Same way Chukwueze and some others. And running under such moniker can't change your lineage, you know. Butterfly thinking itself a bird. |
Good to hear. |
Good one Mr Fuad. You're repping your community in a grand style. Just keep up the good work GOD BLESS LAGOS STATE FOR A GREATER LAGOS STATE EKO O NI BAJE O WE RISE! |
Noted |
That's putting it straight to the governors that most of them are underperforming and thus, need to start acting in the interest of their state and its citizens. FG have minimal responsibility on the growth of any given state, so hold your governors accountable. The bulk of blame/glory over whatever event in a,state should stop at the office of the governor. |
So many issues, so many discrepancies ignored by previous administrations have also being clogs in the works of our development overtime. Things would take a sharp turn to glory and greatness if we don't stop correcting the anomalies and putting in place the right system. With time, with resilience, we'll finally come out of the woods. GOD BLESS NIGERIA GOD BLESS WESTERN NIGERIA ENORMOUSLY TOO WE RISE! |
The needy again? How d'you identify the needy and how d'you get the items to them? Alleviation program shouldn't necessarily be free but making food readily available to the common man at an affordable rate without stress and with close monitoring of numerous factors that can spike food inflation to curtail them before they manifest . |
No, that's not good enough. And don't tell me he might merit it because some things are rather avoided for the sake of transparency and accountability. It should've been someone else. I understand Mr Ojo, as a citizen of this great nation, has right to jostle for any political position but since he's got close relation at the helm of the affairs of the country, that chances have been reduced to electoral position. If people vote for him, he can represent them but he shouldn't be getting political appointment. I'm not in support of this in anyway. |
Exactly. Everybody must be involved to attain sufficiency. We can't, honestly, leave the responsibility for the north alone to shoulder if we must attain and sustain food security on the short and long run. Out with the old system, embrace mechanized and large scale farming of commodities that best fit your climate and soil types and see the enormous change this would bring into the development of our economy. NIGERIA SHALL BE GREAT AGAIN but everyone has a role to play. GOD BLESS NIGERIA GOD BLESS WESTERN NIGERIA SO ENORMOUSLY TOO GOD BLESS ALL PATRIOTIC INDIGENES OF THIS NATION WE RISE! |
Many politicians are guilty of this across the country while the citizens they represent curse the FG daily for doing nothing for them. We should start asking questions now. |
Good |
Westman001:I ain't trying to hurt anybody in anyway to be candid but those comments I responded to reflected frustration and bile, and of course yeah, it's never so cool A saying always ring true to me and it's that YOU TREAT PEOPLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED. Since those posts came with percieved hate, I assumed that's exactly the way you love to be treated too and thus trode the line with you. Sorry if it hurts but we can all do better with the way we address people. Nobody is another guy's play-toy. AND apologies for adding this too: THAT A HUGE NUMBER OF PEOPLE SUPPORT SOMETHING DOESN'T MAKE IT A TRUTH. All of them could be blinded by whatever. Infact from history, truth had always got few support, check your history books. |
May GOD strengthen the family the deceased left behind and grant the injured speedy recovery. |
Ha! It's finished. |
I think we'd rather wait for the update before having a good analysis of what this means to the health of the world, now and in future. For now, fingers crossed. |
Good. Just anything to effect the good change we want is welcomed. GOD BLESS NIGERIA GOD BLESS WESTERN NIGERIA TOO WE RISE! |
nlfpmod:Great that they're now considering full autonomy of power generation and supply. This won't just provide adequate, sustainable and uninterrupted power supply to many capable states of the federation thereby helping the productivity of those states economy but also be a huge source of IGR as well as the reduction in the rate of such states unemployment. We'll definitely get there if we don't stop pushing for the right change. GOD BLESS NIGERIA GOD BLESS WESTERN NIGERIA TOO WE RISE! Raylight2:Can't blame me, I'm an optimist. provided it's a good move, I always hope it happens and works fine. cucumbar:If your frustration at my innocent submission is what you termed wisdom, then it's either I need a new dictionary or you're having a dysfunctional brain. Jeez, what's wrong with the kids of nowadays? No manners, no civil or objective response to an argument or opinion but insults, rants and hate. If you're such an ideal product of bad parenting or broken home, you can always train yourself in good societal engagement and approach. It won't kill you to act it sometimes if you don't have it too. Or are you contented projecting yourself this stvpid to everyone? Westman001:That you have a frustrated and d@maged life doesn't mean each and everyone is going through the same rough patch with you. Learn to respect personal opinion and move on if it doesn't align with your belief. You honestly don't have to be frustrated like another product of a bad home. This reaction of yours is totally irrational. You can do better. Or do you still believe your wail will intimidate others into submission? If that's the root of your frustrated comment, you would do better for yourself by personality checking in into the nearest psychiatric facility. Sweet dreams! |
Great |
marvellous2222:OF course, because the red line was concieved last year and started last month. Construction is concluded and is due for commissioning this month. Better go pick ya brain where you left it before you type again. |
Good one. Please put in more efforts to execute the green and orange lines too before your tenure runs out, your excellency. GOD BLESS LAGOS STATE FOR A GREATER LAGOS STATE A GREATER LAGOS IS RISING INDEED EKO O NI,BAJE O WE RISE! |
Hmmmmm, in ondo again? MAY his soul RIP though. |
Home never chop reach, you dey carry go give away chop. ON a serious note, this call for massive involvement of other regions and tribes in the farming and the food production chain in order to attain food sufficiency all across the nation. Relying solely on only north for majority of our food supply will not help our growth on the short and long run. GOD BLESS NIGERIA GOD BLESS THE WESTERN NIGERIA MORE |
Ejyksneh:What do we say of Bassey who chested down for an ivorian in front of box 18 to give opponents chance to immediately attack for the second goal? Aina who came down to defend is now being called out for the stvpidity of Bassey who should've nodded the ball away instead of chesting down in front of our goal area for oncoming opponent to pick and build up attack to Adingra at the left who then dribbled his way in to get the ball to Haller who scored. Did your bigotry blind your senses to see the mistake that led to the second goal? Why didn't you blame the keeper or Troos Ekong too for failing to keep off Haller from getting to the ball then SINCE THE CULPRIT WHO GAVE THE BALL AWAY DIDN'T MATTER BUT THE POINT WHERE THE BALL WAS SCORED? Aina had a very decent games all tournament until the final where absolutely all of them switched off, except TROOS who was a little around average. Point blank, many are in our squad that have no biz in the team anymore but surely Aina ain't one of them. I'm sure you're fighting to put a YORUBA guy in the black book because of the abysmally poor performance of Iwobi throughout the tournament which he was called out for. He wasn't alone in that league but I guess because of that the people shouldn't have bothered doing what they did because it would all seem like a target against a tribe. Thank GOD, CAF ain't a national body else you'd have cited TRIBALISM as usual when actually you're the main culprits of the offence. |
Just when he's preparing to sign off, he now present A WHITE ELEPHANT PROJECT to his subject as parting shot. In few weeks, they'll clear up a wide wild space and put an ambitious sign by it, leaving it at that till he leaves office. The hope is always to conjure good sentiment against his bad tenure and put the blame on his successor for not following up in his good plan. Yet this is a plan (like the IBOM/IBAKA seaport)with no clear-cut route on how to successfully execute it and on the projected impact on the environment, the citizens and the state expenditure and budget. There ain't also gonn be a clear cut plan on the system of facilitation (BOMT/Partnership/state resources)and the kind of management to run the system/facility when it finally gets operational. I mean, people don't deserve to be treated like f@ols by these us3less politicians. But people need to think themselves. just ask yourselves: why this late? |
CondemnBattery:OF course, CR7 allows autograph everytime but that's always with his consent. Go figure, the fan(s) usually ask for permission beforehand, not irrationally trying to invade their space. That's why these stars have the bouncers around them anywhere they go because they don't love intrusion into their space. You only get close when permitted (whether there's barricade or not). IF they're not in the mood for autograph, press brief or whatever, you can't force yourself on them. The usual result is what happened to that fan. You'll be embarrassed. MyExpression:I guess you don't even know what trespass entails. The moment he was forcing his way to close on Davido, he's already trespassed boundary and even transgressed. He wasn't permitted to come that far and the bouncer acted in defence (his job)to forestall unforeseen tragedy because he didn't know the intention of the said fan. BadMaster:It always said that only a dumb mind attacks constructive argument with insult and of course, you're a perfect confirmation of it. To the topic: you mention saner clime. A saner clime is thus refered because people living in it are civil and organized. They're sane and very objective in thinking and mindset. They would hardly behave in such way as the !d!ot you're trying hard to defend. They understand and respect your privacy; and each and everyone of them knows where and when their rights have elapsed. And on the opposite, we're not in a saner clime here because majority here behave in a rash, improper, disorganized and uncivilized ways. Simple. In that clip, I wonder if you understand the !d!ot you're defending had breached DAVIDO's first line of defence by shoving aside the bouncer walling off the camera angle, his side? He's left the other bouncer with absolutely no other good option than to find a way to quickly stop him before the incident turn sour. If he turned his principal (DAVIDO)around shielding him with his body(this which was the only other option available), he would've ended up exposing him vulnerable to the fans behind. In the end, his principal might end up suffering the very fate he was preventing as someone there might take the opportunity to hurt him too. He's got seconds to react and he did the only thing would stop the intruder while still having his principal protected. Or must he wait until the fan did whatever he had in mind before reacting? Must he wait until Davido recieved the MOHBAD treatment before doing anything?I swear, if the guards around MOHBAD had efficiently did their job by shielding him off against whosoever attacked him on the way home after his show and even before then had prevented anybody getting close to him at his video shoot scene, perhaps we may still have the guy around today. In some cases, you don't have the privilege to wait to see what will happen because much as hard as you're trying to present the fan's action as harmless, IT COULD TURN OUT TO BE FATAL. As nature would have it, the bodyguard ain't gonn wait to find out. In the clip even, David was shocked at the incident as much as the reaction. It was so awful to be true but sometimes HATE WOULD ALWAYS MAKE YOU DEFEND NONSENSE AND YOU'LL THINK YOU'RE MAKING SENSE. stuffs4me:I don't seem to understand you guys anymore. Just imagine me LOL at this post of yours. What does “public space” have to do with our convo? Does having a public space mean a celeb can't enjoy his/er private space? Alright, mind telling me where the law ask you to just intrude into another's space WITHOUT CONSENT? SMH! stuffs4me:Another funny post. I guess you fail to understand rights have limits, even at public place. Like the fan, Davido himself has right to be left alone wherever he choses to stay provided he's not himself encroaching on the space someone else had taken before him. Even on a public road, you as a stranger can't rush at anybody that way without getting embarrassed talk more of a global star. I don't understand why people are trying hard to support uncivilty and nonsense. Take for instance a resturant. That's another public space more open to anybody than the airport. Every seat in there belongs to no one but everyone. So, as an individual, you have right to pick whichever seat you want at whichever corner where you get served whatever meal you ordered. But (watch this)the moment there's an occupant already at the corner you want, it's already somebody else's space then and you are outlawed to go sit right at the same table with the said individual. If you must do so (sit there)for whatever reasons best known to you, then you ask for permission from the occupant. If s/he said no, then it's a no. You go find your own table or betterstill wait your turn (meaning you wait until the occupant leave the table). It's simple but because we're too lawless in this country, many trample on others rights and still shout them down for complaining. And many don't even know the limits of their rights no more. You have rights doesn't mean you can go hug/shake/disturb/whatever every single person you see anywhere without their consent. They have rights too and part of that right is their private space. |
