I thought this has been in place since they started installing CCTV across major roads in the metropolis some couple of years back or are they trying to tell us the system was not functional until now？

Perhaps, it might mean they are celebrating reaching a 300 roads milestone and are formally bringing the awareness to the public, especially many who didn't know such existed in the first place. 300 ain't bad but still little for a state of Lagos magnitude with enormous kilometres of paved road networks

You can't build a football club without stadium already available because the team would need one to train and subsequently play matches. Unless you meant an amateur team and in that case, that's the work of the lower tier of government.

BUT what's with all these INTERNATIONAL tags on everything as if that's a validation of its standard quality and unique infrastructures. Even major stadiums around the world don't use the tag.

YOU'RE right. I honestly hope they listen. BADAGRY and IKORODU needs tangible projects in them to drive economic growth； and as funny as this may sound, these two places, like EPE have abundant land that can sit a very magnificent project each.
Although I understand they have plan for seaport at BADAGRY but the question is, when is that happening because SUCH had been on the card before LEKKI, yet Lekki port was the first built. Don't be surprised they may turn attention to Lekki airport before remembering Badagry.

Just love this.
This will surely open up IKOSI EJIRIN to smart development and investment. Landed properties around this project will henceforth begin an upward appreciation which would culminate in a well organized, multi-estates environs like the LEKKI peninsula below it.

Lagos State government is 100% responsible for the dirtness of Lagos. They have refused to install center where people can dump thier refuse and lawma go there to collect the refuse and dump it where they can treat it. As long as they don't do this people will continue to dump their dirt anywhere

LASG has no fault here unless you're merely being mischievous. Public bins are only installed by government for states facilities. AND such is not an avenue for someone to bring refuse from his/er home to dump there. Such is only for people who use or visit the facilities and subsequently get a need to dispose something. Most case even, it's always something light.
Individual houses MUST get its own trash bin where the refuse are dump in wait for waste management service that THEY PAY FOR. That's how it works the world over
