Howmany illiterate voters knows your tinubu up north?… The people that will work or gather votes for APC in the north are surppoting amaechi instead of tinubu... That's what you should take note of.

The north loves people like Amaechi that is not politically relevant in his home state. Exactly why they voted Obasanjo when the West rejected him. He will still win Rivers sha. The populace in Rivers love him. The north also like him. He has never been a religious fanatic. He is the best southerner at present. Even in PDP states, he will pull votes. He is much more sellable than Tinubu

Lol. This is 2022, Nigeria's political dynamics is completely different now. Now I know your real intention for canvassing for Amaechi. Please don't even try to compare Amaechi's capacity with thàt of Asiwaju BAT. If both of them go into an election in the North today, BAT will score at least 85% of the votes. I dont even think APC will make that silly mistake. Amaechi hasn't declared to run yet so we should be talking about someone else in APC who can give BAT a run for what's worth.

The Governor of Cross River state, Ben Ayade has stated that Former Lagos Governor and National leader of the All Progressives, Bola Ahmed Tinubu deserves to contest for President because he has worked hard for his party.

Ayade in a recent interview with BBC Pidgin, monitored by POLITICS NIGERIA, disclosed that Tinubu was right to indicate interest in the party's 2023 presidential ticket because he worked hard to install the current government in power.

When asked about Tinubu's aspirations, Ayade said; "If you ask me for Bola Tinubu, i go say e dey correct say he come out. The man work hard, e struggle, e fight, e support Buhari to put this government wey dey in place. So for man wey dey work hard like that you go expect say now wey be the turn of the south, make im try."

"God give am opportunity, e go try im best. Me i no go say e no good as e come out say e wan run or make e no run, i no go talk like that."

He added that he is waiting for the party to decide, adding that if the party decides on Tinubu, he will gladly support him but that if the party does not, he will ensure that the party goes to 'beg and pacify' the Lagos politician.

You know why they will lose woefully?

Other major stakeholders in the party will work against him because he doesn't have the capacity. And that is when the great implosion in the party will happen. Amaechi is not a sellable candidate. Even as a serving minister, he is like an outcast in APC Rivers.. his owm kinsmen are already campaigning for another aspirant. Amaechi though a southerner is not the best man to put forward.. Wike would have completely sent him to political wilderness if not that he was made a minister.
