Oh Lord, the creator of heaven and the Earth, let the hopes and aspirations of Nigerians be met under General Mohammadu Buhari's regime in Jesus name.
Amen IJN

A prayer like this is what I expect every reasonable Nigerian to pray.

God bless you

Yeye pple
Whether u lyk it or not fayose getting impeached will remain in d pigment of ur imagination

And for ur rant about pple defending him learn this

Wen u give to the street the street will remain loyal..
Fayose has got street love and u better ready to face d street loyalty
Am not saying people should not defend him, and am not as well denying the fact that he is a street man himself and loved by the street.

If you choose to be one of the people to defend Fayose with the last drop of their blood, then I wish you good luck. Am sure your friends and family shall be proud of you.

I only think it will make sense if Fayose and his family lead in their own self defense and shed their blood first before others...

A word they say is enough for the wise..

Sorry but your brothers and sisters are not stuck in SA, they can leave anytime they want. Your government made a call for them to register to be evacuated. President Zuma has been on tv constantly saying people who want to leave can leave as the attacks have been put under control. No they are definitely not stuck, as the attacks wee in few places its not like we are in a war zone. Your brothers and sisters do not want to leave. Just to to correct your misconception.
Oh Ok. Kindly do your best as a native to ensure the safety of foreigners in your country at least until they leave in one piece. I can as well feel the xenophobic tendencies in you, why are you guys so mean?

You and your fellow blood thirsty Gorillas should better live and die in your country.

Whatever we do or say as Nigerians, let's ensure we are not complicating issues. Let's remember our brothers and sisters are stuck in the midst of this senseless attacks in SA.

Calling their president or king unprintable names will make our people more vulnerable, their lifes are precious.

We can only plead for peace on behalf of ours..I am double sure we have more Nigerians in SA than we have them in Nigeria, so we have more to loose. They should let ours return to us in peace if they no longer want them there anymore, life continues.

Fayose the scammer!!!
Scamming Ekiti people by buying their roadside food, beds to gain their sympathy. We know him as spotless(419ner) before he went into politics.
He is urging the gullible in Ekiti to go and defend him with the last drop of their blood, that is to go and die while he stay back in the comfort of the Government house.
How can Fayose ask okada riders and nurtw workers to go and block the entrance of the state's assembly as early as 6am because he is afraid of the unknown..and worst still, defend him with the last drop of their blood.

No honest and sincere Governor will ever say this, Fayose is not one.

Fayose should allow the lawmakers to carry out their legislative duties. Nobody will impeach him if his hands are clean. Asking people to waylay the lawmakers is enough a ground to impeach him in a sane society.

These guys should go and invest the ones they already collected so far na....Amnesty is only benefiting selected few in the Niger Delta area, it should be stopped because it's fraud. GMB instead of continuing with this fraud should come up with another program that will benefit majority of Niger Deltans.

It's only a dullard that will conclude that there was conspiracy against one region or the other during the last election.

When will all these needless killings stop in our dear country. If Christians and Muslims can live together in peace in countries like Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, I don't see any reason why we shouldn't tolerate our religious differences without resorting to violence.

Politics › Re: Nigerians Fasten Your Seat Belts. by phelps007:
Cutting down the cost of governance alone will go a long way helpful to save huge amount of money that can be used to attend to other pressing national issues.

Op, We know it's not going to be a easy, nothing good comes easy but am sure it won't be as bad as you have painted it here.

GMB won't come up with any policy that will frustrate the poor Nigerians even more, he is far more intelligent that that.

GMB knows what the present situation in Nigeria is, I know he's going to start by leading by example by first reducing the number of aircrafts in the presidential fleet for example.

I listened to GEJ on the morning of the gubernatorial elections at his otuoke home when he was asked about the whereabout of his wife. He said his wife should join him soon and that she took another aircraft different from the one he took apparently from Abuja to the same location which was port harcourt. A president cannot continue living that large at the expense of the country's survival and expect things to get better, Nigeria as a country cannot afford that luxury. We need to tell ourselves the truth.
I heard there are up to 11 aircrafts in our presidential fleet. I also read in the dailies there is a budget for a brand new one in this year's budget as presented before the national assembly.

GMB is going to start reducing the cost of governance from his own office and hopeful, other well meaning Nigerian office holders will take a cue.

Some of our nigerian comedians should be professional about their jokes. You really don't have to be offensive, insensitive because you want to make people laugh and make your dough.
Same way some comedians made a big fool of themselves during presidential campaign by openly insulting some of the aspirants in the name of comedy.

God's purpose of making Buhari win this election shall come to pass. The will of God shall be done in Nigeria.

For those wishing GMB death, hear this; Buhari shall not die but live to declare the works of God as it concerns Nigeria.

Nigerians have prayed fervently for a better country and God has answered the prayers..

SkyBlue1:
My issue is not that INEC declared Wike winner, I think i am about done feeling sorry for a people who make these sort of decisions founded on myopic and tribalistic stupidity, afterall Hitler won elections in Germany. My issue is the violence and the people that lost their lives, and to that I say people have to be brought to book.

APC should take the matter to court, they have a case. It wouldn't be the first time elections have been overturned or redone in Nigeria. The elections should be redone in a peaceful setting without such mass rigging, voter intimidation, and violence. And if Wike can win in such a setting then I say good luck to Rivers state. My feeling is after the euphoria of mass stupidity dies down people would come to the glaring realisation of "oh sh! t. we just elected Wike to run our affairs for us". It would probably be too late by then.

APC should seek redress at the tribunals. PDP should learn to get the people's mandate in a free and fair election and stop making such a mockery of the D in PDP. Regardless, the rest of the country moves on, with the aim of addressing development and tackling corruption. Can't wait till May 29th when PDP would be resigned to the dustbins of national affairs.
I can't believe some people will just decide to hand over the governance of their state to Wike, patience Jonathan, Evans bipi and their likes in such a violent way. Rivers people, I really hope you will endure the first four years of Wike if this election stands. It is well with Rivers State.

Some people in Niger Delta area just don't like APC.
But what they don't know is that it is the APC that will build the Niger Delta of their dream.
APC has come to liberate our country from gross impunity and corruption. We shall see the development with our own very eyes.

Same question my lecturer asked and the whole class kept very quiet. He answered it though, says Jonathan would continue his rule as if nothing happened since the he's the candidate with 2nd highest votes. I've silently been praying nobody gets any ideas and Buhari isn't nabbed before he's sworn in.

Sai Buhari.
Your lecturer said that?
