Anyone knows any good electrician/rewire that can fix e46 2001 gear problem in Lagos? The star light is on and car won't move. Transmission was changed and it worked for about 4 or 5 months and star light is coming on again. mechanic says it's electrical but cant seem to find any expert who can fix it.

Anyone who knows a bmw gear expert please recommend. Auto transmission failed second time after changing. Fault codes P0734 and P0732.
Where can one get a good auto transmission to buy in Lagos.

Thank you...the whole transmission itself was changed and after changing it, the car will drive normal but after about 3 to 4 minutes of driving, the limp mode star light will come up again. They said it was transmission brain box that was causing the star light to come up but we tried two different transmission brain boxes on it and same thing happened. The car was scanned again and the result was 'selector -level position 3 open' ....selector - level positions 1 2 and 4 were closed.

I think it's an electrical fault. The rewire says he'll check to see if all the wires connecting to the transmission are working. If they do not come up with a solution the mechanic will have to fix another transmission.

first, ask him for the one he removed.
Secondly, check to see that the MAF sensor is connected properly, check the vacuum hose as well. Then remove the key from ignition and disconnect the battery terminals for say 10mins. Restart car.

does the brainbox of a car affects the transmission in anyway? Automatic transmission of car was faulty. A new transmission was installed and is working but the limp mode star warning light keeps coming up. Mechanic says the fault is electrical and it is the brain box that is faulty. now we cannot seem to get the exact brainbox for the car. It's a bmw 325i 2001 6cylinder.

I some what doubt that the problem is the brainbox. I suspect the mechanic did not change the transmission...maybe he worked on it. anybody with similar issues

I really don't understand why people come for you when you point out and criticise the government. The govt was voted to work and fix things to make life better for the people. When people point out roads that are terribly bad and other many things not working, some people are quick to shout hater and 'go back to your village' instead of genuinely asking themselves if the criticism is true or not. As if we are all not affected.

We need to understand that govt isn't doing us a favour. Whatever they do isn't free at all. we will pay for it and we still pay taxes.

OK..if you do not jump, they'll arrest you and send you back to nigeria in sound health and then you can still continue to hustle to enter another country or remain in nigeria jeje. But you jump and injure yourself severely, you have been caught and taken to the hospital, maybe you'll get free treatment if you are lucky but then you will still be deported with a broken leg, arm and disfigured face. you will return naija disabled and cause more problems for yourself and family. Life nor hard reach this level.

Donald Duke is still the best candidate to me. He is not controversial and doesn't talk too much like many other greedy politicians. He seems like someone that will carry everybody along and listen to the masses.

The problem I have with Saraki is that he is controversial and I think he will allow corruption especially amongst his very close friends. Other than that, he seems to be a good candidate as he is young and will also be able to carry everyone along.

We need leaders who are reasonable and not bigots. Leaders that don't have to rely on other people to always help them communicate. Leaders who are eloquent, that will speak and people will understand clearly. Leaders that will obey the law and not just do whatever they like. Leaders that are not tribal.

Kwakwanso is not different from Buhari. He can never become the president of Nigeria in years to come. Atiku is a way better option than kwakwanso and Buhari.

It is their money. They can spend it anyhow they wish, so long as they do not come to you to beg or borrow.

At the end of the day, there is no difference between PDP and APC. all of them are there to steal.

Is it not better to have a plan to rotate power every 4 years in each region instead of this funny fighting and division because some people want to hold on to power. Better still let the country restructure or separate.

The lasting solution to the problem of this country is for the leaders to develop every part of the country simultaenously or divide the country jejely. Living together seems so complicated. Tribalism will always be a problem
