The fact that fx trader's a buying into this naira falling back to its normal value is surprising...

Naira was trading at 350, they said the real value was 500...
Naira jumped to 500, they said the real value was 700...
Now naira jumped to 700 and massive flew to 1900...

We all know that at some point the market will retest, because the market already over bought...
Which is exactly what the naira is doing...

Remember it initially found support at 1250 and we all were screaming that it won't get to 1500...

Naira dropped down to 950, oh we all said it's going back to its real value...

Baba flew past 1250 and retested 1900, normally we expected cbn to do something at this point which is the reason why the naira dropped....

We all should expect another pump soon, may not be this year but it will surely come and we will eventually see the naira trading above 2000

Reason because the economy hasn't improved in any way, security situation is still a mess, people are still unproductive....

Im not a Carrier of doom but it is what it is...

Nothing like speculators, cbn is only postponing dooms day and buying govt time, if necessary investment isn't done to sustain whatever they are doing now...

We don't read anymore and mostly, people don't do their due deligence before engaging in things. You need to see some questions people ask in these firms discord channels and you begin to wonder; 'why trade for a firm when u should be on demo'

The so much failure rate in the trading industry is mostly due to our negligence but we put blame on the firms/brokers where there's none.

You no kuku lie, most people are so much fascinated about the money, thats the only thing that drives them, as for the questions, some of them i just dey look...

However, in as much as some of us are privileged, it's not actually bad to ask questions the issue lies with the receiver. Most felt offended with they way you corrected them but they see no offense in saying some set of people came out to make Balance based a marketing gimmick not knowing it is their own understanding that has issue. The issue wey happen with Peter Egwu as well, person drop chart with explanation backing, person come dey say his figure is wrong with no backing.. There are better ways to share views, next thing he felt insulted but did not reason he triggered the whole thing first by saying he's wrong...

Sometimes, its good wind up tho...

Na wa o. This is just plain ignorance being displayed publicly.
Balance-based is not marketing gimmick or anything. Na una no understand basic calculations and understanding.

Balanced-based: Lets assume you have $10000 + running trades of 200$...

Your balance is $10000 while ur equity is $10200 running through the following day.

For Balance based; your DD will be $500 (5% of 10000)

Meaning you could lose your running profit of ( $200 + $500 your DD) to violate


Equity Based: Using the scenario above.

Your DD for the following day will be $510 (5% of $10200)

So your total loss should not go more than $510.. including ur running trades.


This case... You are running $200 in profit... So u can only lose $310 more to violate.
