There is no attraction yet in the bolded, the moment I see it, I will buy. Zenith, JB, Fidelity and even Caverton with all the fundamentals are struggling to give capital appreciation. While Unity Bank, Diamond Chams, DF is making shareholders happy. I have since learnt to have a mixture of stocks with fundamentals and sentiments in my portfolio, so that in anyway the market goes, it is a win-win for me.
True talk but Skye came to my mind.

I called the registrar and they told me that I had more than one shareholder numbers with respect to some companies. They adviced me to submit through my broker. I posted the forms to my broker since last february and till date I have not seen any confirmation or dividend. I know I have fcmb, fbnh, dangote flour, eterna oil and transcorp dividends pending since last year. I will process it when ever I come to lagos.
What if it is same CHN but different brokers?

1. check your old dividend warrant you will see the account number
2. If you have your certificates original or photocopy the account number will be there
3. Go to the registrar of the company you will have it and in that case you wouldn't even need the bank anymore you can as well submit your mandate with them even without the number. They will take of it.
Some registrars give it out on request

Think Loco's right. I refrained from saying similar thing cos I don't want to be seen as someone encouraging such act.
You think they don't know what's right? Just do your own, when time comes, SEC knows what to do to make them comply.
if SEC want them to comply

I got this from Cardinalstone
"Further to your email below, kindly submit the executed e-mandate form either to your registered bank or post to our office to enable us attend to your request.
CardinalStone Registrars
358, Herbert Macaulay Way
Beside St. Dominic’s Catholic Church
Yaba, Lagos.
Thank you for your cooperation.
Best regards,"

I sent this
" Thanks for your prompt response but what is the difference between the scanned one and the hard copy you requested for in this era of technology.
All the necessary details needed has been provided including the Chn which is not a necessity.
I believe you should be able to to bridge the gap of digital divide and not you widening it because I strongly believe you have the resources.
Even registrars that are less exposed have long moved forward.
Thanks"

Now waiting for their response. Though I will also take the form to the bank

Oh! You're right that they paid 25k, and I mentioned its 10k here no one corrected me, does it mean people dont read comments here? shocked
10k should be for which year then cos that's what is registered in my head. Can you please confirm this for me.
Well, there's positive sentiment towards FBN, so some things might not really matter to investors after all. My opinion.
I think they gave out bonus that same year

Thanks for the addition sir, I think, nem and aiico are just the major ones left out, others like linkage, mbenefit, lasaco must chop fine (o ti di baraku)
Don't mind them among all these companies na Conoil de vex me pass. They will surely give an excuse.
I have once said this if there can be an act that will make directors of these companies be sanctioned not in monetary aspect (else shareholders will bear the brunt) the better the issue of good governance will be settled.

The best thing to do is for cscs to update account info on the investor's database so that when you buy shares on the floor ur acc info will be sent to the registrars just the same way addresses and other info are sent to the registrars. This can be done through ur broker or investor goes to cscs office to do the update.
I dont see the reasons for all these wahala
They have it there is a particular form which I filled with both meristem and UCAP from cscs which have my bank details, I think it is called direct settlement or something

I think an article should be written on" How registrars are frustrating the E dividend process " for personal gains, making recommendations on how the process can be re-routed. This could be sent to sec, media houses/other stakeholders. Cos with BVN, I don't see any reason why this e dividend thing should be a problem
Exactly what I did with zenith registrar all dividend were paid but returned money no show face. SEC took a step then because nibss was copied, chairman of registrars was copied and two people from SEC apart from zenith registrar staff.

The only way I know is by sending an email and coping sec ut seems these days they don't give a tinker's damn.. sec be too soft with registrars ..
I did that because that was how I was rescued from first registrars and Veritas registrar even GTL-Registrars which made them to responded but last week same was done I even copied nibss but nothing was heard from them all. The era of Gwarzo really put them on their toes

Some registrars are very stubborn. Even when you explain to them, they will insist you do what they(Registrars) will insist on their own instruction.

I experienced the issue with Atlas registrars (FLourmills) Eric moore .
One of the reason I will never forgive APEL registrars cos I tried to dematerialized my IB PLC with the hope of not selling below 55 but my effort was frustrated
