Chibuking81: To sell I don't know, depends on you, result will be out by tomorrow towards closing of the market or after the closing of market, this is because tomorrow will be the last working day of 90 days compulsory period to release final year companies result, and any companies that fail will pay fine, (this is for final year result, but quarterly result, 30 days). FCMB and Fidelity bank EPS will be good, but their dividend will be poor comparing, Zenith, afriprudent, UCAP, Jberger, UBA.
This poor payment of dividend most time, pushes their price down. FCMB dividend might be between 10/15 kobo likewise Fidelity bank.
For instance 1. If Zenith is at 24 and Fidelity at 2.4 kobo that means, 10 unit of Fidelity will give 1 unit of Zenith. 2. Zenith pay dividend of 2.50 + .30 = 2.80, that mean that Fidelity need to pay 28 kobo to be the same with Zenith.
But when the pay 14 kobo, that is paying half of Zenith bank dividend, from my view, it represent poor dividend payment. Think of Fidelity dividend think of 10k payment |

Chibuking81: Diamond bank would have posted another worst result, that's why the hurriedly merged without releasing any result. And Access release a result with great increase in their EPS which they would have not release it they didn't talk about merging ( I see their current result as been manipulated).
Since they merge, and it will take effect on April 1st, Access bank total number of outstanding share which will share their earning will increase once the Diamond bank reconstructed share is been added. Since no much earning from Diamond bank, the EPS of the new Access bank will reduce greatly.
Except as usually the report q1 2019 result without the inclusion of Diamond bank. I suspected something like that, since they shifted the kick start of the take off of the two bank to start from April 1st being the beginning of second quarter.
Meaning that q2 result will determine the direction of the new Access bank. One of the ọ̀gá for this forum said it earlier that he won't believe access bank eps until the Q2 result is out. Anyway it is a win win for Diamond bank. Truly dead bone can still rise. |

Mpeace: Pls which pne is shareholder's account number. This diamond bank stuff eh. It is the number that is usually stated on the share certificate sometimes registrars do provide it on request but I THINK "the most needed should be bvn and CHN." What will happen to a person that has two brokers but with same CHN will such also have two shareholders account number? |

onegentleguy: Yes DIAMOND is the crux of the matter this time, NOT ACCESS. The name of the said form is DIAMOND BANK SHAREHOLDER UPDATE FORM. ...and u'll find it when u click on the 'downloads' tab at their official website(www.unitedsecuritieslimited.com) I just downloaded mine now !! It's a different form to that of the normal e-mandate form from united securities. This particular form was designed specifically for the sole purpose of settling the N1 cash consideration to the eligible DIAMOND bank shareholders and nothing more.
NOTE: That of shareholder mandate form(which is the one @ Yayira had put up), is the usual e-dividend mandate form u know. I presume u'll only need to fill that one for the 25k FY 2018 dividend thats also payable to the qualified shareholders of DIAMOND bank. ...but that would be if u don't have an alraedy existing e-mandate with united securities.
Hope its clearer now. Thanks boss |

They should have said diamond shareholders should fill the mandate form of Access and not that we should click on download the diamond form. |

TGM2015: First, what is your mode of payment? Through cash? If yes, just forget about the whole thing and move on and if you desperately need the money, just go spiritual. If the payment is through bank transfer, whether online or through the branch, you have 95% of getting back your money through legal means but you will surely loss nothing less than 35% of the money using government agencies like EFCC or Lawyers from a reputable law chamber or firm (rotary lawyers). Please do not involve Nigeria Police or SARS, they can make matter worse. You may spent over N300,000 and still not sure of your recovery and do not use any how lawyers. If you are to go the legal way, you have to present the case as a case of seeking for official means of getting your certificate claiming that your friend claim the procedure is an official one. And if your school tuition fee is on high side and the years is above 3 years, then you can claim you pay such amount because your friend told you must paid for the past and current tuition fees, clearance and graduation fees, exceptional academic waivers application fee, departmental and general clearance fees,... Other fees as maybe applicable to your. The baseline is the your assumption according to convincing assurance of your friend never make you suspect is an illegal one until when you discover you have been scammed.
Now to your actions, you actually deserve the loss because you knew that the only way to get that certificate is only through illegal and fraudulent means. Reasons why you agreed to pay such huge amount of money. Na brain go kill you. |
