kaeforum:
Stop spreading rumors, there is no such thing as speed bumps on the karu nyanya express, the hold up u see is caused by population of commuters coming all the way from nassarawa state, masaka, mararaba, nyanya, karu , jikwoyi, orozo etc, there are so many suburbs where commuters are coming from and somany vehicles too.

All these converge in a on the highway, despite the fact that it is a 6 lane express, the population continues to increase due to increase in vehicle acquisition.

Know that abuja is one of the places where vehicles are most affordable, you can buy a car for N100k, so that explains why there are so many vehicles and traffic as well, just like lagos.

The hold up is also caused by the barracks and AYA junction which tries to restrict the traffic from 6 lanes to 4 lanes.

What's this one saying?!!

Bros, go to that axis and see for yourself

To be sincere, I have not passed there for almost 4months now, but how could sane people put speed bumps on the major road. You don't put bumps, you construct pedestrian bridges. You put bumps on street roads because of kids and those coming out of their estates or houses. I am sorry i made such hasty conclusion. I stay at Apo.

Bros, I was just about to correct your assertions...but you've already corrected your self.

Yesterday was terrible, thank God I left office exactly 4pm yesterday. Still felt it small though

Thanks, bro...I've been looking forward to an Abuja resident to comment.

Science/Technology / Difference Between Check Valve And Non-return Valve by phetty(m): 6:38pm On Mar 15, 2016
Good day...

For some weeks now, I have been trying to understand the difference between a check valve and NRV. I know both of them only allow fluid flow in one direction (that is, they prevent reverse flow of fluid).

In some text, CV is mentioned, while some NRV is mentioned, relating to same function.

In the real sense, are these two valves totally the same, or there is a bit difference between them?

Or they are two same things with different terminology?

Well, I have got a question to ask...

Does CNC programming relates to machine tools only??

That 1st poster is disillusioned....btw it is sealed with a tube like seal to keep the gas in,use ur brain boy

MathsChic analysis is scientific, to reasonable extent, though. But my opinion is that the rubber-like sealant around the tip of the fridge body and its door is the cause of what the poster experienced.

The pull force the poster exerted while trying to open the fridge door wasn't enough to against the friction existing between the two surfaces.

Naija woman is more likely to be vicious and vindictive at divorce proceedings than a foreign woman.. Divorced Naija woman is more spiteful than a foreign woman because she's used to it and has better conflict resolution skills than a Naija woman who has been raised to believe that the easiest to accumulate wealth is Thru marriage.

Bros, make I ask, MOST rich women in abroad, how did they make their riches?
Romance / Re: HELP! My Friend Wants To Date/marry Out Of Pity by phetty(m): 8:51pm On Mar 12, 2016
There are so many things involved in taking a sickle cell patient as a life partner...

Firstly, your friend must, prior to starting any relationship with the lady, confirmed that he's a AA genotype.

Secondly, your friend must be sure that what she has for the girl is love, not pity. Because if it's pity, he will, in no time, get tired of her (especially when she commits some minor mistakes that could be overlooked).

Thirdly, if he really loves her, he also needs to be super strong. Cos whenever crisis takes over her, her health condition at that time is very critical. And your friend also need to know about SS patients so that he can learn how to live with her effectively.

Last, but not the least, we all crave for partners that we will live and age with. Can your friend cope with that uncertainty? Ask any SS patient, they live their today thinking tomorrow will not come.

PTDF undergradute local scholarship scheme shortlisted a few no of student, after a huge no of student applied of which includes 200,300,400 students in futo.
they even went as far as stating in the shortlisted list that those that applied for the scheme , but werent shortlisted should come the exam center at8.00 am at nuclear building, next to saat building in futo....
we got to get to d exam venue in the early hours(7.00 am) and waited to 9.30am and they official came nd gave us a stupide news that 300,400 level are nt eligible, when they stated during the online registration that you must have completed ur first year in your institution nd after we paid the sum of #1000 for the purchase of the form, their official refused to allow us to write the exam(even those that were shortlisted)......

mehn, guys are very furious now.....

Most undergraduate scholarships are for 1st/2nd year students.

PTDF should have explicitly stated their conditions in the advert. I guess they did that intentionally to defraud people.

I got that...Thanks for the clarification

First of all u op need to know what submission means

Has NOTHING to do with love ... Two different things
I.e hubby: dear can u get me water from fridge
Wife: no im busy

So that means no love cuz she didnt submitt to his demands .. And ur saying because of this no more love ..
The truth submission comes after marriage .. Alot dont even know their spouse properly till after marriage ..
And everyone knows the courting process is wher we ladies show yanga the most who the hell is submitting to what?? Sleeping th the guy? U aint making sense

That's why most men wait till after marriage before they started showing most ladies their true colour...

Thinking out loud...why do ladies make yanga during courtship

Though, I feel very bad BA, Abdulslutsky and Boobookitty didn't make it, I wish them and everyone else I was secretly rooting for and others (too numerous to categorize) that were part of the struggle, the very best in their future endeavours.

PS: I hope Xtrasmooth 404, Hakintayor, ENGRPERFECT, mechbeejay and Phetty made it.
Bloody hell, many monikers come to mind!

After a long cyber-leave...decided to resume to my most visited Nigeria blog.

I felicitate with the successful friends. I wish you a wonderful career with PwC.

As for me, I got a regret mail. No regret! PwC just wanted me to continue my career in Engineering because I got a job in late May.

My journey in PwC career pursuit has been my best. I met with wonderful and intelligent gents and ladies in the course, both physically and online. Networking starts from somewhere, somehow, I believe.

I wish to see y'all becoming professional years to come.
